practice homeopathy in usa
i have received many e-mail asking same info over and over, so thought let me write something that may help others to understand who and how you can practice homeopathy...beware before dispensing and diagnosis..hello,
i am glad that you are intersted in homeopathy. i can send you more information about homeopathy in future but for basics...
1) you have to be doctor of naturopathy from usa, which is a post graduate four year program and internship
2) there are hundreds of so called or foreign homeopath practices in usa but they can be procecuated or charged under ama law for practicing, prescribing and diagnosis without license to practice medicine
3) once you come to usa, you can join a program such as medicine itself ( which will take 8-10 years to graduate) , nd ( 4-6 years) , nurse practioner ( takes long as you have to go to nursing school first and then for nurse practioner school) or physician assistant school ( approx 2-3 yrs)
such program gives you limited scope of practice - what it means that you can see and prescibe medicine. at this point you can practice homeopathy legally and without any problem.
there are other programs or certification course which tells that you have knowldge about homeopathy but can not practice or license to practice...if someone gives you different information then let me know so i can learn and educate myself.
but above info i wrote is uptodate as of today and will be glad to provide more info in future.
if you dont mind, give me more info about you and program you are doing and where.
good luck in studies and best of luck for your personal endovors
thank you,
