Arnica Wet Question...Anyone?
For my 14-yr. old's skin problem (acne)...have been dropping 3 pellets of Arnica 30c in 500ml of spring water & giving him 1 tsp. twice a day.Does anyone know if refrigeration is necessary...good...bad...or otherwise? Also...how long should this mixture be used before a new batch is to be made?
Thank-you in advance.

Lisa, I can't tell from your post. Have you been dropping Arnica pellets in the container every day? You should only do that once. However, you must shake the bottle before every dose (about 10 shakes is probably enough - it assumes you poured off a little of the water before you started to give some air space). Better not to refrigerate. If you add a couple teaspoons of alcohol that will preserve it and keep it from going bad.

Thank-you for replying.
My son has used for only 2 days without any visable improvement in his skin.
I have dropped the pellets into the water only once and have shaken the bottle before administering.
I will make a new batch & keep at room temperature rather than refrigerate.
If there is no improvement within a few more days, can he increase the dose to 3x per day rather than 2x per day?

It is better to hit the bottle with moderate force on a bound book, three or four times, before giving another dose.
This is the correct method of succussion. Shaking word is generally used, but, that won't be as effective as succussing.
If there is no improvement within two weeks, I doubt very much, whether further dosing can help.

Hi Sajjad
Good joke. I can always find a book, which can be used for this purpose, from my old lot. : )

What about the table-top? Or the floor? I would be interested to know what difference does it make to succussion as to what you strike it on?

:) So it doesn't REALLY matter what you succuss it on?
Question: Do you really need to hit it against anything at all? Why not just shake the vial?

good question : )
Shaking doesn't impact 'force'. Hitting aainst something is shaking with force applied simultaneously.
Hanemann is very accuate in using the words. If shaking would have been enough, he would not have told about hitting it against a bound book.
He would have simply said 'shake 'the bottle.
Since most of us agreee that Hahn. knew about homeopathy better than most of us, it is better to do whatever he says. : )
