Dear RajivI was reading the thread by 'mollydalton' and your comments regarding the advantages of taking a complete case.
I don't want to continue on that thread, and hence posting my views here.
As I have been insisting ,it is very easy to prescribe medicines for 'local' symptoms, and here presribers and patients got used to it.
Some times , these prescriptions do work, as any medicine will remove the symptoms to which it is homeopathic. However, it is nothing but palliation , and the symptoms do return, as we are observing in numerous cases on this forum itself.
However, patients feel grateful , for the amelioration they get and prise the prescriber, which confirms his belief that his way of thinking is correct.
However, very few here are aware, how to select a similimum, and what to expect from it.
Even the patients shy away, from answering detailed questionnaire. They too want 'quick fix'.
In this scenario, it is very difficult for prescribers like us, to convince the patients and prescribers that these quick fixes, are temporary.
Though, we can't change the mind sets of people easily, let us keep on trying to highlight these things.Even if a couple of patients understand what is 'correct' homeopathy, that is enough reward for us.
Things are changing for the better slowly. If we persist in our efforts, I am sure we can enlighten more people.

Dear Mr.Murthy, (I address you like this as i some how have got used to it).
I am an eternal optimist and there are two guiding principles that govern my life.You can call them my golden principles.
First is that one's intention in life is the most important treasure that a person can hold.Purer the intentions, the more precious the treasure of good 'Karma' that a person accumulates.My intentions in life are always pure.I wish to spread correct homeopathy and hence my efforts in that direction.I also do many other things not related to homeopathy but that is not related to this forum or its topic.
The second principle guiding my life is that quantity of work does not matter as much as quality.Whatever the work i do i try to give my absolute best to it and do not care for the results so much as that is not in one's control.As long as my intention was pure and i gave my best, i am happy as then my conscience is free and i know that My God is happy with me.
All the best to you in your efforts.I am saying something off topic here.But i request you to try to retain Wim at the hpathy forum.He is a wonderful source of incredible knowledge of homeopathy.

I have been following mollydalton's case regularly with lot of interest. I was tempted to ask you for advice for myself but I did not ask as I read in one of your post that you are currently busy with your Phd. thesis. My case is not very complicated but I am suffering from skin infection for past few years.
I will be very thankful to you if you can advice me whenever you get time. Most of the times through out my life I have been taking homeopathy medicine for any health problems and rarely taken allopathy medicines.
