I took Nux Vom last night.
This morning I found out that pain spread down to the chest, now I cough, which i didnt before. It seems worse.

sore throat
blocked / runny nose
cant hear properly because of that /feeling like my whole head is "clogged"/
hot flashes in my cheeks and face, occasional fever in the evening
feeling cold most of the time
looking pale
tired
drowsy
lethargic
irritable

If you don't use PHOSPHORUS for this ....highly unlikely that you will get better....through homeopathy.
If I say any thing more, John will comment that I am pushing/selling my prescription too hard. He has already accused me of that earlier.

For John:
I used Nux Vomica 200C.
Earlier I had sore throat, this morning even my chest was sore and i started caughing. Thre is some mucous, burt not much.
- sore throught - lees but still there
-no changes for better with other symptoms. i seem to hear even less, cant think straight and i am also very tired, indifferent to everyone and irritable.
Couldnt cope with that anymore, gave up, went to see the doctor again, given antibiotics- doxycycline.
I know its probably not the best but it has bothering me for 3 weeks...
for Pankaj - I appreciate your comments a lot, thank you for them, i need every point of view...pls stay in touch.
I cant use any allopathy medicine with homeopathic remedies, can I?
Its probably better to wait until i finish these antibiotics, right?

3 weeks ago - i just woke up one day with sorethroat, feeling weak, i was cold all the time and had occasional hot flashes over my face in the evening.
it wouldnt go away, ecept maybe that sore throat it got better in a week or so, but still very weak, cold, feverish, runny nose....
Thinking of that , when i was yeasterday at my doctors i have noticed that i have got kind of flu-like symptoms every 3 -4 months. but not always it developes into the flu.
i used tobe a very healthy kid and teenager, very good immune system, i dont know what happened...

For John- i did not notice any relation...
i think it has got more to do with current stress in my life./living abroad,working student jobs, lots of daily battles if you are an overseas student, problems with my boyfriend.../
i useually get "sick" like that after mental and physical exertion.

For John - flu - much better , very good sleep, no pain on cheast, no sore throut, still runny nose, but much less, still tired, but much less....improvement.
dont know if i should thank nux.vom. or doxcline :-))

That was teh antibiotic working.
Nux Vomica....if the right med, shows results after two doses.
Take Phosphorus 200 four times a day for three days.
Then make it to three times a day.
Ignitia....when your flu is taken care of.

Pankaj - I actually took two doses of nux as after first i forgot and i had a few sips of wine.
so i repeated it after a few hours....
ok will take phosphorus as you said..post symptoms if any changes.
For John - moods and mental changes - i wasnt good yesterday, feeling mentally exhausted ,quite down.
today i feel much better, as i feel better physically. still resting at home, not many things to react to...

When symptoms move down to chest,Phosphorous is best,and is a good follower for Nux.Nux helped you,and phosphorous also will help you further.

no not risky---my suggestion to stop usage--is to allow your natural vitalness to assume some control--based upon you feeling comparatively better----it is fine whatever you decide...
