Please give her take 4 pellets thrice a day. She should keep tablets in her mouth until dissolved. There are no side effects from this medication and none of her dietary restrictions will break.

Hello, I'm not sure if anyone is still on this thread that I found looking for information for my 86 yr old mom who is in the hospital has fluid in her lungs. She had surgery three weeks ago for a subdural hematoma in her brain, and was unable to come off of the respirator. She has a trachea tube now and is half the time on the ventilator have the time just breathing oxygen. This week she developed fluid in her lungs and they're giving her Lasix, but it's not helping very much. She has also developed severe edema in her arms and legs and torso. I would like to give her the severe edema in her arms and legs and torso. I would like to give her the Natrum Sulfuricum, but have only been able to find it in a 6C potency. I know most of the posts have said to give 6X, but can I give the 6C? It was all I could find right away. I would appreciate any info.

Also, is there anything I can give her for the edema? thank you.

Sorry my phone typed in a phrase in error after I said she had severe edema in her arms legs and torso. After that it should have said I would like to give her the Natrum Sulf.

Treating oedema and fluid in the lungs separately is not homeopathic.
Physiologically Natrum Sulph is related to excretion of water from the body. Therefore it is used by some people whenever there is water retention in the body.( Natrum mur for lack of water in the body.). In this kind of treatment very low potencies are used. Medium or high potencies do not work when prescribed on physiological ground.
6c is low, so I guess you can use it.

My mom is in the hospital and had been there for four weeks now. She's come back from the brink of death but now has fluid in her lungs, which is why I was asking about using the Natrum Sulphuricum.

But I also wondered if it could also be used for her edema or if there was another homeopathic remedy for that. Thanks.

hello pankaj varma! thank you for the nat.sulph info. it worked great. my dog has been diagnosed spleen and liver stage iv and she had fluid in her lungs. 3 nat.sulph6x 4 times daily (she weighs 65 lbs). showed results by the end of the day. 4 days later the fluidy sound was gone and she was able to drink water (she had been eating ice chips). i am giving her 3 ferr.phos6x 4 times also. i have had to add nat.mur6x because her nose drips water and her mouth has a tenacious slime. it fixes it. i added Kali.sulph6x just yesterday because the dry mucous in her nose was green, and after reading about it working with ferr.phos6x, have decided i will add it to her regime. she also takes yunnan baiyao to stop internal bleeding and prevent and get rid of pooling blood. she takes that 2xdaily- i started her with 2 3xdaily for 7 days, 3 weeks now on 1 or 2 2xdaily. as her main (hopefully) remedy, she is on light thc cannabis extract in coconut oil 3xdaily. that dries her out quite a bit. i wonder if i am giving the tissue salts in the right order to work together and with the other remedies. i give ferr.phos, then as of today, kali.sulph, then nat.mur then nat.sulph. she gets the yunnan baiyao an hour after these-- this between meals. the cannabis she gets when it is due- as long as it is more than 30 minutes from tissue salts. i hope you can give me some more advice-- i really appreciate the nat.sulph-- it let us both rest.
