flatulence often, craves chocolate

My 15 year old daughter often has flatulence, accompanied with some cramps, and when she takes a hot tea of peppermint it helps her to expel the gas.

She has yellow-light green vaginal discharge for the whole month, not just before her period. All her underwear is stained, and does not get removed with washing.

Cruciferous (brocoli, cabbage,) gives her gas, even cooked greens such as spinach gives her gas

She craves chocolate premenstrually, has pimples on her face, likes to salt her food.

she is overweight, and presently she does not eat wheat so she can lose weight.

She is of strong opinions, very sensitive to the plight of the world, and wants to do good by changing unjust laws. when she grows up.

She cares for others much, but does not allow others to insult her. She is quite strong inside.

I am concerned mostltly about the vaginal discharge and would greatly appreciate any help so that we can deal with this issue while she is young.

Sincerely and with gratitude

I am trying to understand 'creates corrosion'
It is usually quite colored, yellow or very light brown, as I see it even in the washed underwear.

She gets headaches from emotional upsets, ie anger, sometimes she says that she cannot shake her head as someone might while listening to a rock song. her head feels 'as if something is there, shaking at the top'

Sincerely and with gratitude

Dear Dr.,

I thought of some additional points re my daughter.

She got her period at an early age of 10,(I also did the same)
and her breasts developed quite early also: Maybe started developing at around age 8. As a result, her breasts are quite pendulous, something which bothers her since she is only 15 1/2.

She has weak ankles and joints, her ankle rolled over during a soccer game and it has taken almost 3 years to correct itself. Now she is wearing orthotics and is much better, but her knees also overextend backwards when she straightens them out.
Her tendons seem to be too loose, if this is a good way to describe it, even her wrists sometimes feel painful and weak if she carries something too heavy.

She is quite balanced in personality, not too extroverted or introverted, good with people, does her school work just fine.

I would be glad to answer any questions.

I do not believe the smell is foul. It smells like normal vaginal wetness, but colored.

thank you ever so much

Hi,

How is her relationship with both the parents ?

Sameer

sameervermani last decade
She lives with me, her mother and her younger brother. We have a good home, very loving,we have disagreements but do not really argue or fight. Eventhough I respect my children's views, I still am the parent and have rules:
limited exposure to electronics, food had to be wholesome, we have chores that have to be done in the house, normal rules of the house.

Re: father
The father of my children does not live with us. It has been a long and winding road of a really complex situation: Their father is a good man but has not taken responsibility to support the children nor the family.

While the children were young I used to allow their father to come to the house and play with them, they loved it of course. As the years progressed, I found this imposing and hypocritica on his behalf, so I said 'No more visiting whenever you please, you must take more responsibility and actually take care of the kids.

As the children grew up, they also started realizing the truth of the situation with their father, and started being more 'rational' rather than emotional about it.

He took me to court for joint custody, he lost badly in court and now has stopped harrassing everybody.

My daughter feels as follows:
In her words, and as she told the court contact person, 'I need a father but I do not need that' Her father was also into drugs for many years and this made it clear for me to keep distance for safety.

She feels deprived of a father, but feels both love+pity because he cannot seem to get his act together, she had wanted to help him as a young child, she would say 'daddy I will buy you a bike' or I will buy you a house.

Now that she is older, she has experienced emotional abuse in this form: 'I really suffer when I do not see you' or'Can you imagine how I feel when I am not with my family?'

My daughter is now 15 and sees for herself that this is not healthy behaviour on behalf of an adult.

For quite a while when she was young she blamed me, for her father not being with us.

It was totally natural, and this was hard for me.

Now, the truth is she is torn between her emotions and her rational mind,
she has said that she has had to adjust her concept of men and that they are not all dysfunctional.
She is very humanistic, very much just in her assessments, but her feelings have been hurt and she is working on trusting, particularly relationships.
She is comfortable at home, we have a very open and sincere communication.

Thank you very much for asking, as this is very crucial for her health I am sure

Hmm... so can we say she feels 'neglected' by her father ?

sameervermani last decade
She feels neglected for sure, but it is even more serious than that, her father wants her to mother him, or take care of his feelings, by making sure that she stays loyal to him, my daughter would love to have a father with whom to have a healthy and honest relationship but as of right now this is not the case.

Thank you for your questions

Hi Marika,

Please give her a single dose of MAGNESIUM CARBONICUM 200c as follows.

Dissolve 2 pellets in 120 ml water, and give her a teaspoon from there ONCE.

Let me know in 10 days after the dose. I will look forward to your update.

Restrictions:

1/. Nothing should enter the mouth for 40 minutes prior to, or after taking the remedy.
2/. Do not touch the tablets with your hands, tip them into the cap of the container they came in and then into the water .
3/. Avoid coffee, tea (including green), and other sources of caffeine such as some fizzy drinks and large amounts of chocolate, except where this would cause a drastic change in consumption
4/. Avoid wearing perfume/aftershave, or exposure to anything with a strong smell while under treatment. This includes any and all essential oils, and incense.
5/. Avoid the consumption of excessively spicey foods
6/. The use of medicinal herbs, either as 'teas' or supplements should be avoided during Homoeopathic treatment, as should the use of over the counter medication, unless this has been recommended by an MD.
7/. Nothing of a medicinal nature should be applied to the skin

Dear Dr. Sameer,
It must be around 10 days maybe even more since my daughter took Mag Carb 200c and here is some of my observances:

The very first night, (she took the remedy around 7:00pm)
she went to sleep very early, by 9:00pm.

The next afternoon she told me that all morning and during school hours, her forearm was hurting, 'as if it was my nerve' starting at the wrist and all the way up her elboe.

This must have gone away because she did not mention it again.

Another day she said that her ankle was hurting a lot all day. This is the ankle that she has injured in soccer 3 years ago- and has not really been able to play soccer since. The ankle rolled over, and must have really injured the tendons badly because it has taken a lot of physiotherapy and finally now with orthotics it may show signs of improvement. She has weak joints and she feels that 'even my wrists feel loose'.

It seems to me that her flatulence is less because I have not heard her complain about it lately.

She has had before intermittently a peculiar pain on the left side of collar bone, just high from the breast, which she used to associate with maybe having gas after eating, or certain kinds of foods. It is strange and hard to describe how it starts.
The day before yesterday she said that she has had this pain all day and she was worried about it. I told her she is under homeopathic treatment and I was not so concerned. Her response: 'Oh God, are things coming out?'

I have observed also, that she is not as argumentative with me. Usually, -and I have associated this behaviour with PMS, the day before her period, if we are discussing something she will try hard to criticize my convictions. One example is alternative healing, and she knows, that she is being unreasonable in her arguments, trying to prove me wrong when she does not really have any knowledge or experience, but it is one way to let anger out, so I unerstand it is also part of the teenage mind to let off some steam to the one that is closest to you. I have not seen this lately, maybe it is still coming I will keep observing and will take notes.

Also I have not heard of intense headaches lately, so that is very good.

She is conscious of losing weight, is makiing a good effort to not eat excessively and she is very disciplened about it.

This is what I have noticed sop far and I am very grateful as always for the time that you put into all your patients, and us.

Sincerely

Hi Marika,

What is the status on 'yellow-light green vaginal discharge for the whole month' ?

sameervermani last decade
I believe that is about the same. I will keep notes on that as well.

Marika last decade
Hi Marika,

Let us give this another 10 days.

sameervermani last decade
I asked her again today to notice, and she said that the discharge is the same amount but may be changing color, not as yellow.

thank you very much and I will return in 10 days.
I am very grateful.

Dear Dr. Sameer,
My daughter is presently extremely exhausted due to all assignments at school, she has trouble getting to sleep, and is generally very stressed.

I give her once in a while a craniosacral treatment and that helps a bit.

She has had a great head cold with a lot of stuff coming out of her nose, normally she does not cleanse that way, so I was glad to see that symptom.

yesterday she had a fever but still stayed at scholl, I would like to help her get through this busy time in school without getting sick.

When she feels sick, she has trouble digesting, she gets very gassy, the difference now is though that the gas does not get trapped in pockets of her intestines. Instead she is able to expel it which is good, but her digestion is still troubled.
she would prefer not to have to digest anything but she still has to eat something being at scholl all day.

She bites her nails all the time.

Her cravings for chocolate are pretty much gone she has also read the book Bitter Chocolate and as she commented 'I do not want children to work so we in the west can have our pleasures.'

She said the vaginal discharge is maybe a little less colored.

Thank you as always,
Marika

Hi Marika,

Please give her 3 doses of PHOSPHORUS 30 in the exact same manner as your own doses.

Report in 10 days.

sameervermani last decade
Dear Dr. Sameer,
I am writing because my daughter is experiencing a strange symptom: her wrist seems to be injured or something, because she is not able to hold any weight with her hand, and she is not able to twist her hand backward all the way. She thinks she has slept on her hand and damaged her nerve perhaps.

Should I give her Hypericum? I am asking for help first.

I really appreciate your advise as always.

Thank you sincerely,

Marika last decade
Did you ever give the Phosphorus and what was the response ?

sameervermani last decade
Hello,

Yes I did give the Phosphorus. I believe it was during the time of school when she had a lot of homework and exams, etc. I believe it helped her to be calmer, then her homework lessened and it was hard to assess, but I believe it was good for her. It seemed that as soon as the stress of all the school work quieted down, many of the symptoms seemed to go also.

She recently told me that sometimes she eats very little and feels very full and in a short while she feels hungry again. She also sometimes feels dizzy spells but they do not last very long.
She had her upper ear pierced and the woman who did it in the store noticed and told her that her cartilage was very thin, also that her blood was thin and she might be anemic.
Maybe she may need iron?

In future, please report back on time. I had told to report back in 10 days, and you are reporting back in 3 months. This otally breaks my continuity in a case , and also reduces my motivation towards a case.

Are you sure it is nerve damage ?

sameervermani last decade
Hello,

I am not sure it is nerve damage, she thinks she may have slept on her hand and now she is not able to turn it properly.
this just happened about 4 days ago, I am massaging it to see if I can help it a little.

About reporting late, her symptoms of anxiety had ended with the ending of school and then she went to Europe to visit her grandmother, she just came back 8 days ago.

Marika last decade
Hi Marika,

You can try a single dose of Hypericum 30c, no harm.

Also, please procure Phosphorus 200c for her, as I feel that will take care of all her health concerns in the longer run.

sameervermani last decade
Dear Dr,

I gave my daughter one dose of Hypericum 30 for her wrist, it helped with the hand to move and twist, but the pain still remains.

I also now have Phosphorus 200c

thank you,

Hi Marika,

Can you describe the symptoms in the wrist once again ?
