Can homeopathy help me revive: please suggest me some remedy Page 3 of 5

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi Vikas,

Once again, I am pointing out that Acid Phos has extreme apathy whereas the person here is very ambitious, and has a lot of desires. He wants to be the best. if you ever come across a Ph-ac patient you will see that the state is of TOTAL indifference. He does not feel ANYTHING.

One has to look at the essence of the remedy, as well as the miasmatic taints in the person, and Phos acid does not make its case on both these fronts.

Discussions between you two has real touched me deep. You people have stolen my heart.
I don't know who are you but whoever you are, your true messengers of God.
Whether I be cured or not, live or die, I will never forget this ever in any life.
I do not understand what is the remedy. But, I can say most of the symptoms presented by Mr Vikas about me is correct.
But, that I am very ambitious and want to be best, as understood by Mr Sammeer, is also equally true cent per cent.

Thanks and regards
Prakash

Following are the symptoms presented by Mr grower about me are correct cent per cent:

(1) I have a long history of childhood abuse by his step parents , extreme hardships during youth and a broken heart which perhaps rattled me to the extent so as to induce my current state.
(2) Mind- Weak memory ; loss of ideas and weakness of mind ; cannot collect my thoughts in proper order. and Brain fag. Incapacity for thought in morning.
(3) Quiet, indifferent, unwilling to speak, or hasty speech. Listless, apathetic towards 'most of the things' (very careless) ; remarkable indifference to everything in life 'but personal ambitions', there is emaciation and debility '(mental, physical and sexual)'.
(4) Cannot find the right word when talking ; answer either reluctantly and slowly or short and incorrectly.
(5) Hysteria (yes, if it means attention seeking but I am fair in complexion), change of life.
(6) Sadness, grief and disposition to weep.
(6) Ailments from care, grief, sorrow, chagrin, and disappointed love ; particularly with drowsiness.
(7) Itching on scalp
(8) Throat-Sore throat, soreness, scraping, stinging, < swallowing food. Hawks up tough mucus

(9) Thirst & Hunger-Canine hunger or loss of appetite ; the little food taken comes up with acid eructations, half an hour after eating 'sometime' crampy pains in stomach, with distress from acid eructations. Excessive, unquenchable thirst ; a sensation of dryness of whole body

(10) Cough-Cough : seems to be caused by tickling of a feather, extending from middle of chest to larynx ; dry, caused by tickling low down in chest ; from tickling in pit of stomach and throat, expectoration in morning ; constant, irritable ; spasmodic, tickling, as from down ; evening without, morning with expectoration of dark blood, or of tenacious whitish mucus of sourish, herby taste ; arising from tickling in chest, about ensiform cartilage, < evening after lying down ; expectoration in morning yellowish or muco-purulent and usually tasting salty ; every draft of air gives me fresh cold ; wraps chest up warmly ; cannot bear

(11) Nerves- very weak Weakness : of parts of body ; disinclination for business ; prostrated ; apathetic in morning ; from loss of fluids ; from typhoid fever ; from grief ; from sorrow or unfortunate love ;

And following are the symptoms, presented By Mr grower, that I do not have:

(1) Mind- ; I do not become dizzy on thinking. Actually I feel some kind of blockage in my thinking after a certain point when I give too much pressure on it.
(2) I do not have Homesickness at all.
(3) Hair - Hair started turning grey from very early age but it is neither flaxen nor very greasy but very very rough and lifeless.
Yes, my hair fallen off after grief and sorrow, and after fevers either. But actually the process intensified due to malnorishment and unhygienic living at the time when I was jobless and had no money to rent a house and satisfy my hunger for around six months. I slept here and here, anywhere. It was a time when I could not take bath regularly for couple of months as I had only one cloth. I had then also got louse all around my body.
(4) I am not exactly indifferent to the affairs of life. I consciously feel it but unable to act accordingly and spontaneously
(5) Yes, there is trembling : legs weak, stumble easily or make missteps. But it happens only after I wake up especially in morning or from a deep sleep any other time.

This effort is just to involve my self in my treatment process in order to help myself get cured as soon as possible and nothing else.

Prakash

Most of the remedies you will read in the materia medica, you will see a host of similarities.

Ailments from abuse or domination is NOT a Ph-ac indication. Abuse leads to a particular family of remedies with a distinct miasmatic disposition.

The symptoms you list above being present like:

Confusion of mind
Taciturnity
Sadness
Weepy disposition
Sore throat worse on swallowing
Weakness of body

These are extremely COMMON symptoms.. and will be there in numerous remedies of the materia medica.

I am again pointing out, there is NO case of Ph-ac because of 2 reasons:

1) Ph-ac does not cover the miasmatic state here.
2) The ABSOLUTE indifference and emotional numbness which is the essence of Ph-ac is not present at all in the case here.

Ph-ac patient will not even come to an online forum for a start let alone have ambitions or have desire to kill.

Mr Veermani,
I am totally convinced with your argument. You are absolutely correct.

These days I wake up everyday in morning with severe pain in my backbone a little above the waistline. It pains so severely that for around half an hour I can not bent down.
I remember this used to happen with me around nine years ago. My friends would tell me that it was happening because I slept for long hours.
Is it that or something else ???

kumarprakash last decade
This is return of old symptoms which is a curative indication.

It will get resolved with the remedy.

Do not do anything.

Dear SameerJi,

You are amazing and a great inspiration to me. Keep up your good work. One day I wish to become like you caring the deserved and deprived ones. What better service can one do in life !!!. This passion I have been carrying for many years. I wish to undergo an online diploma / graduation 2-3 years course. Could you please recommend any institute / organisation which could prune me to a homepath. thanks and regards, Radhakrishnan

Hi Prakash,

How are you doing now ?

sameervermani last decade
Dear Mr Sameer Veermani,

I am fine. medicine seems to be working gradually, although there is no remarkable improvement yet.
There is some improvement in my cough problem but still it is persisting. It fluctuates. My nose starts running and throat starts itching even on little change in weather.
I am frequently facing sexual debility; erectile dysfunction, loss of feeling(both mental and physical), these days. Earlier it used to happen sometimes.
My concentration has however improved somewhat. There is some improvement in writing also.
My aggresiveness seems to be coming back.
I feel pain in my legs and body only sometimes, not everyday or everytime.
There is intense itching in scalp with hair loss and also in other parts of body wherever I have hair.
I seem some increase in my confidence level also.
I am sorry Sir. These days I am not updating properly because of so much hectic work schedule. You know it's high time. Every day some or other big political development is happening in Delhi. Government has also become very active keeping us on toes every day.

Regard,
Prakash

Hi Prakash,

It is time to raise the potency to 200c.

Please take a single dose of LYCOPODIUM 200C as follows:

Dissolve 2 drops in 250 ml water, and take a sip from there. Make sure nothing enters the mouth 1 hr before and 1 hr after the dose.

Report in 1 week.

Ph-ac:

'The theme of struggle and collapse is clearly expressed in certain symptoms common to all the acids: hurry, industry, feeling that their efforts are unsuccessful, fear of failure...'

'We see in Phos-ac a lot of effort in this direction. There is increased activity and hurry...'

All acids show collapse at the end, and struggle and industriousness at the beginning.

All remedies show a polarity in their states, which can sometimes be understood as a timeline in the patient's life - Sepia can begin their state active, excited, love of exercise and dancing - and end up exhausted, indifferent, lazy, in physical stagnation.

It is possible to see a person at any point along this axis.

Another theme of the Acids (which is also the theme of Hydrogen, the component that makes a substance an acid)is Lively, Extroverted, Fresh. This is the beginning state, Exhaustion and depletion is the end state.

Ph-ac in the repertory:-

Concentration active
Desire for company
Cheerful
Clarity of mind, esp. during chill
Conscientous
Ecstasy
Excitment (3 value symptom)
Exhilaration
Hatred
Hurry (2 value symptom)

These are just examples of the polarity of Ph-ac.While we more often see the patient in the later stages of the remedy state, it is important to be alert for patients still in the early stages.

This is in no way a statement about any prescription for this case, just a comment on some earlier statements about the remedy Ph-ac.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Ph-ac patient is not a competitive, envious or ambitious person by temperament, and nor does it cover the ailments from abuse part of this case. It does not have 'desire to kill'. Most importantly, the miasmatic state here which is more sycosis than anything will not respond to a remedy which does not cover much of sycosis. Hence Ph-ac was ruled out.

We never go by superficial repertorizations. The essence of the remedy has to match the person, and that will only happen if we keep the miasm in mind.

Why is this case a case of sycosis?

1) Patient says, ' I feel worse after getting up from sleep especially in morning. I also feel worse after 12 noon till 7-8pm in evening. I however feel active after 8-9 Pm ' -->Morning aggravation and evening amelioration is a sycotic trait

2) Patient says 'I mostly brood about my carrier, occasions when I was humiliated mistreated, getting power and position to defeat everyone and every situation, improving my writing skills and gaining knowledge, problems involved in my work, my weaknesses, my cowardice acts, my helplessness. '

---->Love of power and desire to defeat others while having a feeling of inner cowardice is a sycotic trait

3) Patient says ' I also feel like stretching my hands and legs with full force because of some terrible sensation in my hands, legs and other parts of body. This is also a big problem when I am in office to attend my work. I can not stand for long. And when I sit, this pain does not allow me to remain in that position for long. I keep on stretching my legs body in an abortive attempt to get some relief. '

--->The rheumatic nature of pains where there is great desire to stretch and move is a very sycotic trait.

4) Patient says 'Earlier I used to be a voracious speaker but things have changed now. Earlier, I used to be very convincing, a man of hypnotic words, but now its is not so. I commit mistakes while conversing and suffer losses.
I used to be every fun and frolic, very intense, full of spirits but things have completely changed now. '

--One type of sycotic person is a strong, forceful, intense, PASSIONATE, if not egotistical individual, who seems to know what he wants and will work hard to get it. In the beginning they work hard and play hard and look out for themselves, Later on in sycosis it often happens that the patientÂ’s former egotism was only a compensation for the lack of confidence that is now showing itself. This fear and insecurity is increased now because concentration is becoming difficult and their MEMORY IS BECOMING WEAK. At first it is just for proper names , or things they have just read , or what they have just said or forgetful of words while speaking. Writing aggravates them. As the last stage of sycosis comes on, there is complete failure of memory and intellect. They become so forgetful that they can't remember the simplest things. Hering says about Medorrhinum :';ENTIRELY FORGOT WHAT SHE HAD READ, EVEN PREVIOUS LINE. FORGETFULNESS OF NAMES, WORDS AND INITIAL LETTERS. CANNOT REMEMBER NAMES; HAS TO ASK NAME OF HER MOST INTIMATE FRIEND; FORGET HER OWN. Cannot spell right: wonders how the word 'how' is spelled.'

5) Patient has 'BURNING OF THE HANDS AND FEET at night' --> big time sycotic trait

6)Patient says 'I have strong desire to study. But, whenever I prepare for it, I can't do it.' --> He gets ailments from anticipation , which is another hallmark of sycotic miasm.

7) Patient says ' I am always apprehensive. It is always 'negative' that comes first to my mind. It is good in some cases but not always. I find myself gripped in some unknown fear. For example, I always feel I will lose my job, I'll meet some accident, I'll be mistreated, ..and like that '

--> Underlying their suspicious or egoistic nature, sycotics carry a strong fear ; particular a fear that something bad will happen.

Sycosis, Q.E.D.

They don't teach much of the the above in degrees do they ? :)

Thanks and regards
Prakash

Wow you are still having a go at me? really Sameer, let it go. I taught homoeopathy in two colleges for seven years. You really need to get over your insecurity about your training and just leave it alone.

I was not interfering with your prescribing here or suggesting remedies. Clearly you haven't spent much time updating your knowledge or you would understand the concept of polarity in remedies :)Essence prescribing is all very well, but every remedy contains its opposite state (also related to Primary and Secondary actions) and focusing on one of these means you may miss people in the other.

And Lycopodium is a Psoric remedy not a sycotic one - as clearly stated in Hahnemann's Chronic Diseases, and most other reference works regarding Miasm.

Please no more snide remarks - that ridiculous argument you started last time was embarassing enough for both of us.

I really do think that we just need to forget all that rubbish from before, it got out of hand and it was not the right way to handle our differences. I will make comments as I see fit about things that are not personally directed at you, and I am sure you will be professional enough to do the same.

There are many things I am sure each of us can learn, so lets remain open to that.

Brisbanehomeopath, that nature is part of Sameer's Constitution.I have a lot of respect for his homeopathic analytic skills but less for his immaturity and ego. (to be fair, I have tried to reach out to him to call it quits and take his help, but he won't because I don't show servitude to his ego) The problem with the internet is that you get to create a virtual kingdom for yourself, and attracting fawning subjects which puts you in a false state of mind. He'd be a better future homeopath if he understood this about himself.

aske123 last decade
I see. I appreciate you letting me know that. I will not take it quite so personally (although I had noticed others bearing the brunt of his rage in other posts).

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
BTW, leaving all this aside, would you be open to analyzing my son's case if I were to post it in a new thread? (I am very keen to know his constitution (I have analyzed myself [not a homeopath in any sense of the word, just an avid reader], but need other insights). I'd love to hear your analysis.

aske123 last decade
Sure I am happy to. I don't prescribe for chronic cases over the internet (as I have probably harped on about enough) but I dont mind giving my thoughts about a case.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Aske123,

In other words, you need to pay him to avail his services.

On the other hand, what Sameer does is philanthropy. And I think he can afford to do that.

But if someone's bread and butter is earnings through clinical practice, then you should not expect free treatment, and rightly so. But I think brisbanehomeopath's advice should suffice for you to get more insight's into your son's constitution.

Also I feel, what Sameer's patients show him is respect, and not servitude.

Dubai2009 last decade
Dubai2009, right on all counts (also agree his patients show him respect as well). Yes, I look forward to brisbanehomeopath's advice. Thats all I need for now :)

Completely respect the concept for money for service and promote that concept too. I've already spent good $$$ visiting local homeopaths (there are only two, none of whom I have found to be effective.

The reason why I am looking for a technically sound, but practiced homeopath is that he will, through his clinical experience know where the organon's directives may afford for deviations in real life. You just cannot know that unless you practically treat and cure over several years.
