We have only PULS LM1 available with us. Can we give him the same? Otherwise we have to order it and wait for couple of more days...please suggest.

Do you have Silicea LM1 ?

Hi Dr. Sameer,

I am sorry I jumped the gun and gave him a Dose of PULS LM1 2 hours back as he was constantly coughing and wheezing.

Yes, we do have Silicea LM1 available with us.

Thanks,

Hi Dr. Sameer,

Our son's fever and wheezing are under control. In fact, yesterday itself he was feeling a lot better. He is still congested and coughing (not dry cough) in between. He is feeling more thirsty and doesn't want to eat much.

Should we give him any further doses or we should wait? Please suggest.

Thank you for you time and efforts.

Ruchika.

You can give another dose but give 7 sucussions to the LM1 bottle before the dose.

Dr. Sameer 'Thank you' so much for helping us out.

Hello Dr. Sameer,

We gave another dose of LM1 as told by you(7 sucussions to the LM1 bottle before the dose)on 24-03-2010. He seems to be improving. Although his chest is not totally clear. He is having running nose also.

There are few things we wish to discuss about his health.

He was one and a half year old when he once fell down from the bed and got hurt on his nose and his nose was bleeding . X-ray report was normal.

He got Asthma problem when he was two years old.

During last month, while playing he fell down and hurt his nose(there was no bleeding ). One or two days later his nose again got hurt. This time there was swelling on his nose and he complained of pain also. When he gets up in the morning there is minor swelling on his nose.

Another thing he is also having small eruptions on his face which are puss-less particularly near eyes (one on upper eye lid and 2-3 on the lower eye lid), on the nose and today I noticed two on forehead and one on head too.

These boils kind of eruptions were there before we gave him dose of Puls LM1(22-03-2010), but they were less in number, just 3-4. But now they are increasing in number and he feels little itchy as well and scratches them . Could this Aggravation be because of his last dose?
Can you please suggest up what we can do for these two things?

Thanks,
Ruchika.

When ailments move from physical levels to skin, this is a good sign. Nothing is to be done as of now as these skin eruptions are a curative response.

You can give another dose of Puls LM1 with same method (give 7 sucussions before the dose).

,Hi Dr. Sameer,

Its always such a relief to see your post.

One thing more his skin eruptions on the face are spreading. I am little worried about that. Last year he had bacterial infection(boils with puss, around 8-9 of them) on his face around his mouth and that whole episode was very terrible. I am just scared that nothing like that happens this time.

We will give him another Dose of PULS LM1 today. Do you think we need to procure LM2 potency?

Thanks,
Ruchika.

Yes, procure Puls LM2 and Silicea LM2 as well in 30 ml teat dropper bottles.

Hello Dr. Sameer,

My son is not doing so well. After his last dose of PULS LM1 (around 8-10 days back), he had running nose and cough and one of his lymph nodes on left side of his neck below the ear has swollen. He complained of pain when we touched it, so we consulted child physician yesterday. The doctor said it could be because of throat infection or it could be bacterial infection also. He also recommended few blood tests and one test for TB. we are still waiting for the reports.

There is one more thing I wish to share with you. Last year when we consulted you for our son's blocked tear duct, at that time you asked us to give him Puls dose and after that he developed swelling on his lymph node below his chin towards left side.

So what I am trying to ask you is that could it be puls aggravation?

I am confused and doctor told us to get its(swollen lymph node) biopsy done in next week.

Please suggest some remedy and tell me what should I do?

Thanks,
Ruchika.

Hi Dr. Sameer

I am waiting for your reply. Please pay attention.

Thanks,
Ruchika.

Hi Ruchika,

This is not a Puls aggravation.

It looks like an acute layer which got stuck, and is returning while the body is responding to the correct remedy.

Please note down the symptoms carefully, and let me know. Lay emphasis on location, sensation, better from worse from, and other symptoms or general things which have started since this acute started.

Hi Dr. Sameer,

Thank you for your reply. Here are the points that I noticed in him:

1. Location and Symptoms : Swelling up of lymph nodes located near the left side of the neck below the ear and very near to jawbone. this started last week - he consumed a lot of cold milk and cold water too (directly from refrigerator). Then he started to have cold, cough and runny nose and congested. The cough took 4-5 days to subside but his lymph nodes started getting bigger.

He started complaining of the pain in left side of his neck and we could notice swelling like an half inch wide stripe half or one inch below his ear covering his whole left side.

I had some miscommunication with my husband about silicea and he gave 1 dose of silicea 30 to him on last Saturday. He seemed to have improved somewhat after that - at least he is not complaining of neck pain and swelling seem to have reduced somewhat now.The swelling used to be near the adjacent area of the node. Now also when I touched and tried to press it a little he didn't complain about any pain.

2. Sensation: I can't tell you much about sensation as he can't express himself about it. :(

3. Better from Worse from : Don't know :(

4. other symptoms or general things which have started since this acute started:

He is asking for warm milk (maybe he got scared that he might have to take injections which he is very afraid of).

He desires to hit when he is in bad mood. sometimes he will say it verbally sometimes he actually hits very hard with his fist.

He is congested and coughs once in half an hour accompanied with rattled sound.

If there is anything more I notice in him I'll write it to you. Once again Thank you so much for your timely help.

Ruchika.

Now for current situation: we waited for some time after the silicia dose given by my husband coz of some miscommunication.

My son seems to be doing better on his lymph node. The swelling is all gone and cough and cold is also not. The congestion is also gone. He sometimes sneezes 7-8 time in a row...

He doesn't crave much for cold milk and water any more rather requests for mixed water. His appetite and thirst are normal. His node is visible and its oval in shape. Its not completely gone. Only when he get cold and cough node swells more.

Please let me know if there is anything else you want to know and what should I do next?

Thanks,
Ruchika.

You can wait for another week, and then give him a single dose of SILICEA 200c.

Report in 3 weeks after that.

Hi Sameer,

On sunday we observed that he was having a few eruptions on his face. Ruchika gave him Silicea 200 as advised by you - but he seem to have got an aggravation. He is having lymph node swellings again on his nodes near neck (bilateral) and under chin on left side. he is also having mild pain.

Kindly advise what should we do?

thanks,
Navdeep

navdeep77 last decade
Just wait and watch.

Silicea is very deep and slow acting.

sameervermani last decade
Hi Sameer,

Our son hasn't responded to the Silicea 200 dose that we gave him last. He continues to have the bilateral nodes enlarged (left side more than right one). He has also got a few other nodes enlarged around his neck, but so far small enough not to be concerned much about.

We visited the doctor and he advised to give him antibiotics, which we decided to give him in light of multiple active nodes. He hasn't responded to antibiotic s as well. His complete blood count doesn't indicate anything serious. Fine needle biopsy was done on him and results proved inconclusive - maybe pathologist wasn't able to extract a good sample. Now pathologist is advising to go with needle aspiration under sedation under supervision of his doctor (which we have to discuss with him yet). Otherwise he might have to go for excisional biopsy (the enlarged node being surgically removed).

He doesn't seem to have any other problem - his appetite weight and sleeping everything continues to be normal. We are also not averse to excisional biopsy as probably that is only way to detect any serious infection or malignancy.

However, before we do that, we would like to have your opinion on the possibility of homeopathic remedies administered to him causing the problems to push out from inner layers to the lymphatic system and whether he could be helped by homeopathy.

Please let us know if you need specific details.

Thanks,
Navdeep

Hi Sameer,

Our son had high fever last week (104 +) - his doctor told that it could be viral and was treated with antipyretics. It came down in 2-3 days but he developed cold and is having runny nose now. His lymph nodes continue to be troublesome - he is additionally complaining of paining just under his chin. can you please help us?

Thank You,
Navdeep
