swollen left foot

I havehad my feet sprained over and over, since I must wear high-heel sandals (I look like a KISS member). I walk quite fast and it happens every day. However, I was walking on December 17 and I fell down (thousands of tourists were around, and I was in a hurry). Since last Monday, my whole left foot ( sole, toes, ankle, instep) has swollen. It´s too hot here (I live in Southeastern part of Brazil) and I can´t even put my Havaianas on. What should I take? I have a combo (Ledum Pal., Arnica Mon., Rhus Tox., Petroleum, Bellis Per.).

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Well, first find out if anything is broken. Just because it is swollen does not always mean a sprain.

If even a small broken bone in the foot is not attended to, one may need surgery to repair it when you wish you had done the simple xrays in the beginning.

Surgery is harder to recover from, while after a cast from a cared for break is easier to go from. I know, I just broke mine!

Your combo is not completely correct, but unnecessary remedies will not hurt you. The ARNICA and LEDUM would be the choices. Another is SYMPHYTUM. Go ahead with your combo. If the ankle is actually broken, you MUST have it cared for before the need for surgery.

Not sure why the high heel sandals or why you must walk fast, but walking slower with an attitude is much more appealing.

Please take care of yourself.

Blessings, Sabra
