Attention Issues with son- spacey, no energy Page 3 of 4

I suspect I will ask you to wait. I am on my way to clinic now so I will look more carefully at the report in-between clients.

I may have spoke too soon. Although there is progress, I'm seeing a little more movement and fidgety behavior today. Maybe a little more fatigue as well- although he was very restless in his sleep last night. I really think food triggers some sort of neurological issue with him. I'm doing the best I can eliminating foods but it's a challenge. I'm hoping that homeopathy can rid some of the food insensitivities. No known allergies showed up on food testing.
Should we give it one more week of observation and then reevaluate?

Hard to tell. I just got home from work. I haven't had much time to observe him. He seems okay...a bit tired and cranky.
mishelle76 9 years ago
Alright just keep observing him for the moment. There can be a fair bit of back and forth after a remedy. What we look for is the point at which it stabilizes before acting again if possible.

Hi there,
Yesterday, the school and I met for their evaluation review results. Unfortunately, they had nothing but bad news for me in regards to my son. They expressed that he has significant social impairment interacting with others, understanding body language and facial expression- lack of empathy perhaps. He enjoys the company of others but doesn't know how to act around them or initiate appropriate conversation. He has a brilliant vocabulary; he's smart and witty- just not "normal" social contact. When someone says hello he may not even hear them. If anyone were to talk to him or see him on the street, I dont believe they would see any abnormal behavior. He appears to be a happy, well-rounded child. And he still is in many ways.
On top of that he has many sensory issues and continues to tip toe. The occupational therapist says his calves are starting to tighten up and hes afraid to walk up and down the stairs without holding on to a rail. He has a sensory chair in his classroom, and they are suggesting head phones for distraction.
His large and fine motor skills are still lagging. His handwriting is often illegible.
The school did tell me that last semester it took him nearly a month to write a 4 paragraph paper and recently, it only took a week. I found that information hopeful and as I mentioned before he is doing better on spelling tests.
Much of this is repeated information but its confirmed now through the school. So his biggest issues are still inattention, fidgety behavior, sensory issues, and socialization impairment.
I have not seen any behavior worsen but it seems no further improvement at this time. However, Ive seen improvement since starting his remedy- no sliding backwards but I think weve come to a halt. Still a lot of work ahead but Im sure even with homeopathy, it will very likely take some time.
What do you think?
Thank you.

Actually I quite happy with that report so far. Slow but noticeable progress is usually a good sign of improvements deep within the person.
Begin with the Tarent 0/1 again. Give him 4 doses this time and then let me know what has been his reaction. Can you also obtain Tarent 0/2 as the next step?

I do agree...he's opened up quite a bit at home in comparison to how he was before treatment.
I'll start up again tomorrow for 4 days and get back with you.
The pills I ordered ended up being granules but I just used 3 even though they are quite tiny. I honestly think they work just as well as 3 bigger pellets do. Do you agree?
Yep, I'll order the 0/2 now.
Thank you!

Yes, size of the pellet seems to make no difference once you dissolve them in the water. Not sure I understand the science behind that of course - sometimes homoeopathy is still a mystery to me even after all these years practicing it.

We finished up the 4th dose a couple days ago. I didn't really notice much this time around except that for 2 days he had normal soft bowels instead of little balls. That was wonderful! He had a restless night of sleep the first night but that's about it.
Should we wait a little bit to see any progress? I think I would be comfortable waiting a week or so.
I ordered and received the 0/2.
Thank you.

How do you feel about his progress so far?
Anything that seems to not be improving at all?
What seems slow to improve?
What has improved dramatically?

How do you feel about his progress so far?
Im excited and hopeful with his progress so far. To me, Im seeing small improvements that are sticking. Yes, its slow but considering just a couple months ago, he was much more withdrawn, its huge to me.
Anything that seems to not be improving at all?
I havent seen any improvement in fine and large motor skills that could be due to being stuck inside for the winter (large motor skills). Hes in a resource class for writing and other fine motor skills. I think hes still struggling sitting still in class and focusing but its hard to tell because I dont get much feedback. Ill ask again during conferences soon. His social interactions are still awkward and he gets into people's spaces and talks loud.
What seems slow to improve?
His social interaction with others is slow. Hes still not too interested in playing with others. However, as I speak, hes playing outside with the neighbor kid- scooter rides. He hasnt done that in a while. Not much itching- the very dry skin remains but doesnt seem to be too itchy. His energy is slowly picking up. His conversations are slowly becoming a little more give and take than before.
What has improved dramatically?
Getting back to his personality- hes talking more with family and those hes close to. He always had a big personality and slowly it seemed this personality was being tucked away deep inside him- until homeopathy. Its really emerged significantly recently. Hes being funny, he hears me when Im talking to him, and hes more interested in doing things. I also have not noticed as much squirming and wiggling around.

Hi Evocationer,
Perhaps we should wait a bit longer OR I think soon, we should try the 0/2. My son seems to be back to being tired, lazy and a little irritable. Mostly wants to lay around or play video games and tv. I haven't noticed much improvement since his last dose...just a couple of good days but that's about it.
Is it possible that he was progressing along slowly and then by giving him another dose during his initial progress, I halted progress? Can that happen?
Thank you.

It can cause an aggravation which will look like a relapse or a halt, but then when it wears off there should be further progress.
On the other hand, at some point the potency will simply stop working. That is expected, and you would normally move on to the next potency step.
How long has he been like this now?

It's probably been about 3 days of him being blah, tired, and lazy. Last Thursday he seemed pretty okay but then Fri-Sunday not too fun to be around.
