Can Someone Take Over Case - Throat Issues Page 2 of 3

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hey Telescope!

So, I wanted to give you an updated. I pretty much took Causticum around the same time as now 24 hrs ago.

My voice does seem better. I woke up with my throat feeling better too. Not as dry, or raw and not as hoarse. Although, it was still a little hoarse, but I don't expect that to go away so soon.

Anyway, I also noticed an increase in appetite since I woke up. I am getting hungry more often now, which is a good sign, because before my appetite was much less.

So, let me know what you think. Should I repeat or wait a few days?

Thanks again!

tonybaloni33 8 years ago
do not repeat. I think we have found your medicine. Causticum 200 should work for around 20 days.

telescope 8 years ago
Ok excellent.

Let's see how it goes.

Thanks Tele!

tonybaloni33 8 years ago
Hi,

I just wanted to mention another symptom. I don't know if this relates to Causticum or not, but I just wanted to mention it.

So, for my vision, I have two things going on. I see many blurry, floating waves where ever I look. There is also these gray or black dots, it looks like the dots you see when your TV doesnt work. You know what I mean? Its like static.

Anyway, just though I would mention it.

tonybaloni33 8 years ago
that is probably on account of haemorhage in the retina. do you have sensation of sand in the eyes?

telescope 8 years ago
No, never like sand.

I have like mucus in my eyes a lot. You know that thing they call eye booger. A lot in the morning and throughout the day.

I also have oily skin, oily face, oily hair, just all over.

tonybaloni33 8 years ago
alright, it is not retinal hemorrhage then. don't worry, all these will pass off soon.

telescope 8 years ago
ok cool. will keep you posted as time goes on.

tonybaloni33 8 years ago
Hi Telescope,

I want to give you an update for this week.

Some things improved, especially the voice but I'm sorry to say that the main problems do not seem to be improving.

Also, for the past 2 to 3 days, my nausea has gotten worse. I thought maybe it's an aggravation so I waited it out, but nothing seems to be improving.

So, I think we should think about either repeating the remedy or finding another one.

I was thinking about Calc Carb because there were a lot of matches for the symptoms, and recently I checked the food desires and aversions and Calc matches a lot for me.

Phosphorus was also another close one that I mentioned before.

Ok, well let me know what your thinking about this?

Appreciate it, Thanks!

tonybaloni33 8 years ago
repeat Causticum 200 first. if it does not work only then we will change.

telescope 8 years ago
Ok will do. Will report in a week.

tonybaloni33 8 years ago
Ok, time for an update.

The causticum didn't do anything. Repeated it and waited a week.

Then I just took Phosphorus which was the other one I had in mind, I took it on Friday night. No change from that either.

I am at the point where I want to attack this problem very aggressively. I hope you are with me. I do not want to do anymore waiting to see if a remedy acts. If anything, I will wait a day.

If you are not with me on this, that's fine and I will find a remedy on my own. I don't want to go through another day of this!! It's already been long enough that I've dealt with this and suffered!

I'm already starting to study homeopathy using books on my own because I am so desperate to fix this. And I want to keep trying remedies until I find the right one and I don't care what happens. As a person asking for advice, I am telling you that at this point, I don't care what happens because its so bad, I dont care if anything worse happens. I can always drink tea, or any caffeine right after to un-do what we did or an anti-dote.

That is why I want to be more aggressive about this.

If you are not comfortable with this, I understand and I am going to do it anyway.

The right remedy should make an immediate diff, especially with the right strength.

One other remedy that I came across that I was thinking about taking was Tarent.

This problem is probably only making things worse as I have not seen any progress yet and is probably damaging my body. I don't want this to continue and I have been patient enough and followed the standard homeopathic guidelines and wait time. This problem and certain other problems, I believe should be handled in a aggressive manner. These are exceptions. If I had a diff problem that was acute, then I would be more patient. This is horrible on a daily basis and cant take it anymore at this pace!

Thank you.

before you try something of your own I want you to take one dose SULPHUR 200. it will hopefully clear some symptoms and then you may get clear indications for some medicine. wait for three days after sulphur.

telescope 8 years ago
I don't know if you remember or not, but you know that I've taken this before and nothing happened?

tonybaloni33 8 years ago
the reason I am asking you to take sulphur is that I am thinking of using Calcarea Carb which acts well after sulphur.

telescope 8 years ago
Ok I see.

But I forgot to tell u you that during the last week, after I repeated Causticum, I waited a few days and then I took Calc Carb 200 when I saw that Causticum wasn't doing anything.

Waited a few days after Calc and took the Phos.

So, the order was Caust > Calc Carb > Phos.

So, your saying I should start with Sulphur now, and then go to Calc? How long after taking Sulphur?

Thanks brother!

tonybaloni33 8 years ago
3 or 4 days.

telescope 8 years ago
Ok will try.

Thanks. When should i report back?

tonybaloni33 8 years ago
3 days after taking calcarea carb.

telescope 8 years ago
Hey Tele,

it's been a while so wanted to give you an update. I took the two medicines like you said and no change.

I have some questions before we continue though.

Do you think that the right remedy is not out there for me? Meaning it has not been discovered yet?

I mean besides all the remedies I've tried and different people I've consulted, I've also read a lot about remedies like Hahnemann's texts, Kent's repertory, Boericke's Materia Medica and Repertory. I don't see anything that really matches.

Anyway, well I'm just going to spend a lot of time now to give you every single detail and even go by body part. Hope you can find something and I know it will take some time. Thanks

Before I list everything, I just want to say that all of my
problems are located in the throat. That's what I want fixed.
Everything seems to affect me in the throat, even mental and emotional things.

Mind: Emotional (sometimes can have strong emotions I guess),
sadness-depression-melancholy (not anymore but a big
part of my past), nervous (again from before it was
more), quick to be let down or disappointed easily
(from past, not anymore). Have a temper also.
Creative, enjoy writing, write songs, write music,
music is something I enjoy a lot.

Emotions: Don't get emotional in front of people much. Hide
it and express it later, most of the time.
Especially when wanting to cry.

Head: Feels heavy at times (effects the neck also). When I
bend down and then come up, its a bad feeling. When I
go down, there's a rush of blood to the head, it's like all this liquid collects as long as my heads down and my
head feels heavier. Then, when I come up, that feeling goes and then I get like a light headed kind of feeling, with sometimes like a quick, sharp pain in the head, usually on the right side. And then that goes away.

Neck: Constantly uncomfortable. Neck feels weak (like pressure from head), I shake my neck a lot through out the day, left and right, diagonal, in many directions, it's like just stretching the neck and it feels better when I do that.
Sometimes it can feel like my neck is not screwed on right and it's not tight. My whole neck feels weird, and it's not from work or over use or anything of computer. There is this slight or subtle pressure I also feel in the back of my neck. It's like from the top of the neck and radiating down to the middle of neck.

I feel a lot of tension in my neck. If I ever feel tense, which I think I do feel tension a lot, it affects my neck a lot. It tightens up. It's hard for to me to stretch actually. Any part of my body, but especially the neck. People have told me ever since I was a teenager that I was physically stiff. Especially when stretching. But I am athletic and do like sports, its just when I was stretching.

Shoulders: Also tension there. Been told that by chiropractor and others and I do feel it. Esp joint area I guess. It's like a radiating feeling in my shoulders and they feel so tired. Not really pain though. But I definitely feel better after a message in the shoulders and the neck, more than anywhere else.

Eyes: Vision is kinda bad, meaning I do wear glasses all the time, but if I take them off, it's fine and I can still get around and make things out. But things would of course not be as clear, I would have to squint to read from far away, things would be blurry. I also have this weird thing, even while wearing the glasses, where my vision is really blurry with static waves moving around. It's so hard to describe but that's it. This is all the time and it's everywhere in my field of vision. Wherever I look. And it's more noticeable when the background or where I am looking has a white color or other bright colors like light blue for example.

Sensitive to light. I've always adjusted things to make them less bright. I always dim the lights wherever I am, or like when I'm watching TV. The dimmer the better, but don't turn it off completely when looking at a screen. Can't stand bright lights at night, especially when driving. I have to look away. I'm talking about normal traffic lights that most people do not have a problem with.

A lot of the eye mucus thing in the mornings, I guess that's what it's called? The thing in the corner of your eye that you have to wipe off with your finger. Most of the time, it feels like a booger from your nose. Sometimes it can be hard and crusty, but mostly like mucusy feeling. The eye mucus happens throughout the day, maybe a total of two to three times a day and i have to wipe it off.

Hands: There's some kind of joint pain there. Like it's like a nerve pain, it happens everyday, it gets worse as I am typing of course. Or click the mouse. It doesn't hurt all the time, it just can get to the point where it can sting a little with the nerve pain. If I stop using hands, feels better. It's kind of like a radiating, pulsing, subtle feeling throughout the day and then can lead to some pain.

Also, hands feel kinda numb lately. My veins show easily on hands and they've always been like that. All the way to my arms, they stand out and bulge out.

Knee: There's also this thing with my knee but it's rare. It's a pain in the knee but only the right knee. I also think my dad has the same exact thing on his right knee. For me, it's only when I put a lot of exertion or do something like play sports, run (especially a sprint), or walk a lot, or go up stairs, then I feel it. It's almost like the knee locks and then I feel the pain. It's a sharp pain. Then I can't walk like normal. I have to limp while walking. If I rest, it feels better, whether it's standing still or sitting.

Throat: Where do I begin? My throat, as far back as I can remember, is something that has always affected me. Not chronically when I was younger, such as a kid or teenager years, but still sometimes like when I was too emotional one day or having anxiety. Also, my voice has always been affected. I find this to be a HUGE coincidence that the voice is affected and I want to become a singer. And I've wanted to be one or enjoyed it since I was very young, like pre-teen age or younger like a kid, but back then it was just a crazy dream to me. Then, as an adult in my early 20s, it became serious. And it was around that same time, that I started to have my chronic issues.

This all had to do with the fact that I was moved by music so much since my younger years, and especially by the singer and what was said, and enjoyed singing myself.

When my voice got lower as a pre-teen, I didn't like it and I was always insecure about it. I didn't like the sound of it. And I didn't like talking because of it, especially in school. Besides being nervous to talk in school, my voice was what I was worried about more than anything when talking out loud, in front of people. I got to the point where I spoke so quietly that people could barely hear me and often said to repeat. Like I had no life left in me, no energy, especially in the voice and especially in the mornings. To this day, I am still like that. In the mornings, I do not want to talk at all and I usually don't. Especially until after I have eaten and drank something.

I haven't really had any major problems until my early 20s. Around this time is when I first got a serious job in the career I choose and I was just starting. I've mentioned this story before. To sum up, between that and losing relationships and being alone in general, I felt like a failure. Failure socially and at work. And also I was going to college during all this so pressure from that.

With this job, I had to talk on the phone. I never had a job where I had to do that and I was nervous. I also didn't like talking out loud, which I mentioned was a problem. I ended up clearing my throat a lot when talking, I guess thinking my voice would sound better if I did that. I felt like a failure and didn't feel like I was doing a good job, and there was a lot of pressure for me to do good as an intern. I also felt like I wasn't smart enough and felt disappointed in myself. I also got to the point where I felt like I didn't want to live. I was so depressed. But I always pulled through.

It was around this point that I started to lose my appetite and could not finish my meals. Like half of what I was used to. I think the mucus and phlegm started after that. I ended up clearing my throat a lot, coughing after clearing, which did not help. The phlegm and mucus terms seem almost the same to me, so I'm going to use them together and interchangeably. So, I ended up having a lot of phlegm-mucus in my throat. I have no idea where it's coming from, but I think it's coming from two places. Above meaning the nose and coming from below meaning the stomach which I am guessing? Not sure about that. I just know it sometimes just comes out of nowhere and I think it's from below. The nose one I can feel, because I feel it there and then it gets in between the nose and throat, and I have to pull it down. When it comes down, this is definitely not something that can be swallowed. Too big. It has to be spit out which I do. And it's more of a hawking, it's almost like if you were forcing something out. Force pushing, forcing trough your throat out. Like if you were choking and someone did the Heimlich and it came out, except I don't have to do the Heimlich on myself, I just force it out somehow through my throat.

This happens throughout the day. I had to start carrying around tissues, because it kept happening randomly and I need to spit it out at that moment that it happens. I usually cannot go away and do it later because I can lose my breath while I hold it. Also, I cannot excuse myself because when I pull it down, I cannot talk. I have to spit it out first and then I can talk.

The phlegm-mucus itself is big, thick, very sticky, very slimy, it's clear, it's tough, it stretches and hard to break into pieces, it can sometimes smell bad. Sometimes can be different colors, like especially after a meal. Like green or yellowish green. More green though, especially after a heavy meal, especially with beef, or spicy food, or fatty food, greasy, or fried, or tomato, etc.

Another thing that can happen when eating these foods, is I lose my voice because I end up having this really weird feeling in my throat, and it's like I know at that moment that something is blocking my throat and if I talk, it will sound weird and my voice will crack. It's very hard to describe because it's so weird. And that thing that feels like is there, is the green mucus-phlegm thing. But this is different from the other clear one, which goes to the throat and I can easily spit out. This one is like, I feel a pressure in throat, and something wants to come up but does not exactly, and it's like I have to make it come up and out. When I try to make it come up and out, I have to do this reallyyy violent hawk a few times to try and force it up, but it doesn't always work. And during this process, I am killing my voice. My voice gets really weak, to the point where I'm losing it. So, I hack or hawk a few times, then a cough, and sometimes that will bring it up, and then I do the hawk from the throat and it comes out.

When it does, it is small and green, and does not resemble the other one which was clear and really big and thick.

I also clear my throat during the day and it doesn't always result in phlegm-mucus. Sometimes I just have to do it. The pphlegm-mucus, the clear one which is the one that occurs the most, is the worst in the mornings. I have a lot of it in the mornings. As soon as I get up, I have a tissue next to my bed and it's the first thing I do. Because there's something there already and it's uncomfortable. But I never choke while I am sleeping or know that it's there. Then I hack up. That first one I hack up and spit out, is really the only time where I see it as yellow. And it's a horrible smelling one. I have to get rid of the tissue right away. Then I proceed to bathroom where there's more. This happens for a few minutes.

Once I feel my throat has cleared up and I rinse my mouth, then I have to drink water before anything else. It just soothes my throat. It also seems like it clears the throat. Like if there's something there and this washes it down. My throat also has a burnt feeling. I feel the worse in the mornings and anytime if I ever lie down, I feel horrible in the throat. I also have nausea after lying down or first thing in the morning it can be really bad, and some heartburn sometimes. So, then i eat my breakfast, and right after that, by the time I get to work about 10 to 15 min later, there's a lot of phlegm-mucus. I don't even know how I function at work in the mornings. This happens a lot for the first hour after breakfast.

And this happens through out the day. I eat every 2 hrs. So 2 hrs after breakfast, eat a small amount of cashews for snack, 10 min after eating, some phlegm-mucus. Then Lunch 2 hrs later, same thing. So, it happens through out the day, especially right after eating. Keep in mind, that all of these meals, the breakfast, snacks, lunch, etc, I eat wayy smaller portions than what I should be eating and used to eat when I was normal. It's like half of what I should be able to eat.

Swallowing Issue - I have mentioned this before. Doesn't happen much anymore, thank god, it was one of the worst symptoms. It still kind of happens though, but not as much. There was a time where it was like happening on every bite and I couldn't eat. I became anorexic thinking I would choke. That's no longer the chase. I have gained weight and feeling better, but still much thinner than what I should be. But it does sometimes happen still where I get like a morsel of food stuck in throat and then I just wash it down with water. Re-swallowing does not help, sometimes it does, but most of the time water helps instead of re-swallowing.

Burps - This one is horrible as well and still on going. It's like related to nausea. This one was never a problem until I started taking acid reflux pills. When I stopped, this started happening after. This problem appeared after I stop taking those pills, which was a long time ago, like a year and a half to two yrs ago. It's a nauseated type of burp. I get a nauseated feeling, like wind rising up, traveling up, feel a little of nausea in the chest, then goes up to the throat, where that wind is trapped in the throat, and then I burp it out and it kind of feels like a burning burp at that moment. And the burning is felt in the chest and throat, even after the burp, which is like something burning goes down too.

This happens too throughout the day, especially right after eating. Because of this, I have to stop eating and eat in little waves. So, for examples, I will eat a few pieces of a cashews, less than a handful, and then I stop and wait a few minutes, usually about 5 min, until that burps and nausea happens and goes. Then I feel like I'm clear to eat a few more pieces. Yes, very sad how I have to eat like this. Cannot eat a handlful of cashews right away like a normal adult can. And it could be anything, like it could have been a few pieces of baby carrots and the same thing would happen.

The burnt feeling that I mentioned in the throat in the mornings, also happen late at night and especially before bed. I also have to drink water all day. I've always been like this, my whole life. Now, it's all I drink. I just have a constant thirst. I have never seen a co-worker or any one else sip water through out the day like I do. I know it's good, but it's just a thirst that I have a lot. I feel like it also helps clear my throat so it feels necessary. I don't drink much while eating though. Just to wash down food, just a few sips between bites.

Foods that also make things worse, tomatoes (which I used to eat all the time when I was Normal), spicy food (which I love but can't eat anymore), onions, anything with tomato sauce, any sauce really, mayonaise, eggs, anything fried, sour foods like pickles or sour cream, chocolate, beef, or pork.

Other things: Things to mention like my back is stiff too. I have a wart on my hand, right hand, on the palm side, very close to wrist. It's big, painful when it touches a surface like a desk or when touched, cauliflower shape, little black dots inside, and this is the 2nd big wart on right hand since I was 14. I am 29 now. First one went away and this 2nd one grew on a different part of the same hand.

Ok that's pretty much it. I am tired of typing and I'm up late, but that is everything that I want improved. There may be a few things that I can add tomorrow if I forgot to mention anything, but they are little things and these are the main things.

Thank you in advance Telescope for reading and putting your own time from your life to help me and others. You guys are the best!!!

please take one dose Thuja 200 at night before going to bed.

telescope 8 years ago
Ok excellent. Will try to get it today. If not, I'll take it tomorrow night.

Thanks, appreciate it!!

I will post a few other things that I forgot to mention later today. I will probably just combine them all into one post and add the new stuff to the end of what I posted yesterday.

Thanks again.

Heyyy Telescope,

I got the remedy and took it last night.

This morning, I had no phlegm as soon as I woke up. Also, I felt like I slept very well and was feeling really refreshed this morning. I forgot to mention the sleeping issue.

Also, my throat did not feel burnt this morning.

So, things definitely got better so far. I did have phlegm after eating breakfast, but I'm sure it will take some time before that gets better.

So, should i just wait 3 days and see how it goes and take another dose if needed?

Thanks. By the way, I had Thuja in mind before. There were a lot of remedies that matched me and this was one of them I wanted to try and did not try till now. I also wanted to try it for my wart.

Ok, anyway. Thanks again Tele.

Hope you have a good weekend!

tonybaloni33 8 years ago
do not take any more medicine. thuja 200 will work for around 20 days.

telescope 8 years ago
Hey,

ok that's excellent. I'll wait 20 days to see what happens.

Things are pretty much the same since 2 days ago. No significant changes. Still eat same amount, phlegm is there and all the other symptoms.

I had a huge pain in the back of my head yesterday, all day. I dont know what that was. It was a weird feeling though. It passed though when I woke up this morning. I didnt sleep as well as the first night after taking Thuja. I didn't feel as refreshed the last 2 nights compared to the first night.

Anyway, let's see what happens. I'll probably give u an update at the end of each week. Thanks

Hi everyone,

I still have not found any solution to my problems.

I have not been on here for a while.

Hopefully, someone can help me once and for all and find a solution for my F***Ing problems. Sorry for my language and anger but it is how I feel.

I have been to two Homeopaths recently who were not able to help either. The last one gave me Baryta Muriaticum but it did not help. After looking it up 2 days ago, it does not sound like me so that would also explain why it hasn't worked.

I am sure that my problem is very complicated and that it will not be a common remedy, since I've tried so many based on the suggestions of people here, my own research, and even Classical Homeopaths who I have actually seen for help.

If you think you can help, please take on my case. However, please keep in mind that my remedy will probably be an unusual and uncommon one. Also, I hope that whoever tries to help me, they should also use some kind of Homeopathic software and repertory because they are up to date, and they can show very recent remedies discovered, new ones, and less popular ones that might be right for me. Also, I hope you ask questions that are really important based on what I am describing.

Ok, also you can pretty much forget all the answers from my previous pages and posts and I think it's best to start fresh. The only benefit of going back would be to know what remedies I have taken. Also, I can tell you others that I have taken on my own.

I hope someone can help as they would be doing me one of the biggest favors in the world. I am so sick and F***en tired of this S***.

I want a solution quick, and I feel that a remedy should make an improvement immediately if it is correct. As soon as the same day or the next day. That makes sense and the fact that I am so young at age 29. I am NOT going to wait a week or more to see if a remedy is correct. There were a few instances, where I took a remedy and it quickly had an effect on me. Some for the better. And some made me sleepy for example.

Anyway, I will give a brief overall of my case and then I will answer questions you have of course.

My problems are with the throat and eating. I Have a lot of mucus and phlegm or post nasal drip every F*** day, really bad in the mornings, the worst after breakfast (Up to 30 mins after breakfast) and I want this to be goneeeee. I have this through out the day also, afternoons, etc. Not as much at night, but it depends on what I eat. It's F**** disgusting, thick, disgusting S***, and it also ruins my voice because I have to hack it or hawk it up forcefully. It's very sticky too.

I also cannot eat a lot. Have A LOT Of FOOD restrictions which sucks. Almost everything affects me in a bad way. A lot of mucus and phlegm after eating. There are other symptoms too, like food sticking in the throat when swallowing. Not always, not on every bite but it does happen through out the meal.

I have to eat really slow. I HAVE SO MANY PROBLEMSSS!!! It sucks.

Ok, thanks to anyone willing to try and help. Appreciate it greatly.
