Can Someone Take Over Case - Throat Issues Page 3 of 3

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi everyone,

I still have not found any solution to my problems.

I have not been on here for a while.

Hopefully, someone can help me once and for all and find a solution for my F***Ing problems. Sorry for my language and anger but it is how I feel.

I have been to two Homeopaths recently who were not able to help either. The last one gave me Baryta Muriaticum but it did not help. After looking it up 2 days ago, it does not sound like me so that would also explain why it hasn't worked.

I am sure that my problem is very complicated and that it will not be a common remedy, since I've tried so many based on the suggestions of people here, my own research, and even Classical Homeopaths who I have actually seen for help.

If you think you can help, please take on my case. However, please keep in mind that my remedy will probably be an unusual and uncommon one. Also, I hope that whoever tries to help me, they should also use some kind of Homeopathic software and repertory because they are up to date, and they can show very recent remedies discovered, new ones, and less popular ones that might be right for me. Also, I hope you ask questions that are really important based on what I am describing.

Ok, also you can pretty much forget all the answers from my previous pages and posts and I think it's best to start fresh. The only benefit of going back would be to know what remedies I have taken. Also, I can tell you others that I have taken on my own.

I hope someone can help as they would be doing me one of the biggest favors in the world. I am so sick and F***en tired of this S***.

I want a solution quick, and I feel that a remedy should make an improvement immediately if it is correct. As soon as the same day or the next day. That makes sense and the fact that I am so young at age 29. I am NOT going to wait a week or more to see if a remedy is correct. There were a few instances, where I took a remedy and it quickly had an effect on me. Some for the better. And some made me sleepy for example.

Anyway, I will give a brief overall of my case and then I will answer questions you have of course.

My problems are with the throat and eating. I Have a lot of mucus and phlegm or post nasal drip every F*** day, really bad in the mornings, the worst after breakfast (Up to 30 mins after breakfast) and I want this to be goneeeee. I have this through out the day also, afternoons, etc. Not as much at night, but it depends on what I eat. It's F**** disgusting, thick, disgusting S***, and it also ruins my voice because I have to hack it or hawk it up forcefully. It's very sticky too.

I also cannot eat a lot. Have A LOT Of FOOD restrictions which sucks. Almost everything affects me in a bad way. A lot of mucus and phlegm after eating. There are other symptoms too, like food sticking in the throat when swallowing. Not always, not on every bite but it does happen through out the meal.

I have to eat really slow. I HAVE SO MANY PROBLEMSSS!!! It sucks.

Ok, thanks to anyone willing to try and help. Appreciate it greatly.

If you are willing to try again please inform if there is family history of bronchial asthma . Also if you had suffered from malaria in the past.

Hey Telescope,

Yes, I am definitely willing to try. Thank you so much for responding. There is no family history of bronchial asthma or malaria. There is nothing coming from the chest area and nothing felt there. It is related to the throat and nose. I am going to give you all the details now and start fresh below. If you have any more questions or need more details, please let me know and I will provide that. Thanks again! :)

All my issues seem to be related to the throat. Also, it involves eating too. What I eat and the amount seems to make things worse or better. I never have complete relief of symptoms though no matter what I try or how healthy I eat.

Phlegm and mucus everyday. I would say that it is phlegm more than anything else, I do not want to call it mucus because that might be the wrong information. It is not that runny mucus that you experience when you have a cold, that is different and that one is usually green or yellow or something. This is clear and white. And it is not mucus, I would call it phlegm. Please keep this in mind if I have written mucus in the following. It is Post-nasal drip with phlegm dripping down into my throat. I have to hack or hawk it up and out. Thick, cannot be swallowed. Clear or white in color. Very sticky. Worst in the mornings right after breakfast (that is when I have the most). It's disgusting. It accumulates and drips down in the area between the Nose and Throat. Then I pull it down because it gets in the way. Sometimes, it's like it is just hanging there and will eventually come down. I usually pull it down at this point because it gets in the way of breathing (obstructs breathing) and it's uncomfortable. Sometimes it goes right to the throat itself. Usually if it is smaller and thinner, it will do that and then I have to bring it up, force it out, and spit it out. I carry napkins with me all day because it can happen at any time. It happens through out the day. Mostly, in the mornings, around noon, and afternoons. Also, happens mostly right after eating something, a meal, a snack, or anything.

This has been going on for about 7 to 8 years. Chronically, everyday. I have had a lot of food restrictions since the type of food I eat seems to make it less or more, but regardless of diet, it is always there. I will explain in more detail later in the other relevant questions.

Another complaint is the amount of food I eat is very restricted. I have to eat less because symptoms will get worse. I am not eating enough for a normal, adult person and not eating enough for me and my size. This has been going on for a while too and got worse and really bad a few years ago. A few years ago, I also developed a new symptom which I never had before either. I started to have difficulty swallowing food without it sticking in my throat. This is another big complaint. I swallow, and a bit of food gets stuck in my throat. Swallowing again usually does not help, sometimes it may. But usually, I have to take a sip of water to make it go down. I never actually choked during the years though. But sometimes, especially when this first started happening, I felt like I would choke. This happens through out my meals or snacks. This has been happening for a few years.

So, for my meals, the proportions have been cut in half pretty much. I seem to be underweight for my size for sure, definitely. If I eat more, then all the symptoms mentioned above will get worse. Including the swallowing issue which is scary. My throat will feel full. Like it can't swallow anymore. I have a full feeling. At the beginning of the meal, I have an appetite but after a few bites, I feel full. But I still eat slowly just so I can eat enough to survive. If I continue to eat more than I do now, my throat will start to feel constricted or closed while I am eating. This stops and prevents me from eating more.

Another thing that will make symptoms worse is what I eat. For example, for years I have cut out tomatoes, fried foods, cut out fatty foods as much as I can, and tried to eat healthy. This keeps the symptoms from getting worse, but after years of this, it doesn't stop the problems. I follow an Ayurvedic type of diet now, which helps. I was even Vegetarian once for about 6 months but I was losing more weight and it did not stop all the symptoms anyway.

There is a lot more that I have cut out and I can go into more detail if asked to. There also seems to be some mucus or phlegm at night around 11 pm or later (usually around the time I try to sleep). Which is another problem. Sleep. I do not sleep well at all. I have trouble falling asleep. I have pretty much been like that most of my life. I don't know what keeps me up now, I just feel restless. I feel wired but no thoughts are keeping me up. I just can't sleep when I want. I end up laying in bed for a few hours until I finally do. And no matter how long I sleep, 8 to 10 hours for example, I never feel refreshed in the mornings. I have trouble getting up and out of bed. I wake up, open my eyes, and then stay in bed for another hour or two. Have been like this for most of my life.

I do not feel refreshed at all after a night's sleep. The alarm goes off. I turn it off and go back to laying in bed because I feel so tired. I do not wake up during the night. I stopped eating 3 hours before sleep since I used to have some mucus in my sleep and it used to wake me up and I would spit it out. I do not have that anymore since I stopped eating late.

I have more complaints. Another one is how this has all effected my voice. I also clear my throat a lot. I read somewhere that this is due to the mucus and phlegm and how while it is there and bothering me, it causes me to clear my throat. While it is dripping down too I guess. I clear my throat a lot during the day and sometimes really loudly. A lot of what happens is loud, like the hacking up of the mucus/phlegm. It is sometimes really hard to hack up and spit out. It is so embarrassing too. I can barely function socially when this happens its so embarrassing. At work especially. I have to go to the bathroom or go outside and I carry napkins with me all the time just in case I need it. And I'm sure its very annoying and disgusting for other people to hear too. This is my life everyday since this problem first started 7 to 8 years ago. It is also ruining my voice. My voice gets hoarse and rougher because of all the throat clearing and getting rid of mucus. There isn't really any coughing, it's more of a forceful expectoration than anything else. Sometimes I almost lose my voice from all this. Also, certain foods can make it worse, like spicy foods, foods that are harder to digest like meat, beef, fatty foods, fried foods, pastries, etc.

I think it has seriously even damaged my voice. The ironic thing also about all this is that I want to become a singer. As a matter of fact, when this problem first started about 7 to 8 years ago, that was the time that I decided I wanted to become a singer and take it seriously. Might be a big connection there, I don't know. Before that, I had no other chronic problems in my life at all. Although, I will say that most of my life, I also had kind of a hoarse voice at times. Especially mornings. I wouldn't want to talk to anyone in the mornings. My voice felt tired, I felt tired, my voice was really rough and hoarse. I was also thin for most of my life too so there might be a connection there. I have always had trouble gaining weight and even maintaining it. Anyway, I have always, since puberty had insecurities about my voice. I didn't like my voice especially during those years and teenage years. I always felt that I had to clear my throat because it didn't sound right or my voice isn't going to sound good when I speak. It seemed too low, or hoarse and didn't sound good. I have always wanted to be a singer actually since those teenage years. There were times when I thought my voice really sounded good and other times when it didn't. But when I started to think about actually doing it for a living, and I started to write songs, write music, etc, that one thing really stressed me out and made me feel uncomfortable was singing. I wasn't confident about my voice or abilities and I was uncomfortable about the idea of singing in front of others. But I felt I had to do it. And I had to change my career, which was IT and still is. I also am not very patient with certain things in life and want to things to happen and change soon, especially when I am not happy with something like my career. I can also be disciplined and patient at times though. But with the singing thing, I was not. I was 21 back then and Im 29 now. Still haven't reached my goals as a singer and song writer. Its ok because I am taking singing lessons now privately. Also, I took a college singing class a few years ago. That made me really nervous too. But anyway, I still have some trouble because my voice seems flat a lot of times or not right on pitch. Thats why I say my voice seems damaged. A lot of teachers and musicians have said good things about my singing and say I have the ability to become one professionally. However, when I sing a song, I am not able to hit the right notes always no matter how much I practice and I seriously feel that this disease is causing that. It is damaging my voice everyday.

When I first started to sing around the age of 21, my voice was like monotone. People used to tell me that and I didn't like my voice either then. My voice would feel tired very soon, like almost right away. The voice and my performance is much better now from years of practice and dietary changes, but its still not what it should be at all. It is also hard for me to hit higher notes and some lower ones. Actually, going higher and lower is very hard for me and keeping it up, which is what a singer is supposed to do.

I also have acidic burps. They are like acidic, sometimes painful if its really bad, almost regurgitated like burps. Like sometimes something is coming up. I never regurgitate or vomit out of my mouth though. It is like acidic burps that come up to my throat. And its like something fills my mouth and throat area. This happens a lot through out the day too. While I am eating meals, during snacks, all day. It can be during lunch, or after eating a handful of nuts, snacks, or anything I eat. It doesnt matter. It happens during meals like lunch, I will eat a few bites, feel full, then this acidic, regurgitated burp will happen. Then I cannot eat because I feel full and feel I cannot continue. I wait for about 5 minutes to pass, then the burp happen again and then I am able to eat another few bites. THen it happens again, same thing until the meal is finished. This acidic burps started to become a problem after taking medication about 2 yrs ago or so, when I didnt know any better and I didnt know about Homeopathy or any other natural ways of healing. I was given acid reflux pills, like prescription strength and told to take it twice a day, which didnt help anyway. Then, I stopped and it made it worse. I stopped taking them after that and have never taken a pill since. But I noticed this symptom has been happening since then.

Anyway, this is all killing me. Please help. I thank you for responding so much, you have no idea. I think thats all I can think of now.

Hi Telescope!

Thanks so much for all your hard work!!

Ok, I can get Lycopodium tomorrow but I have a question first.

See, last week I had posted my problems on another homeopathic forum since I didn't get a response from here. Someone told me to start taking the following. They said kali bi 200C (6 pellets) twice a day and Pulsatilla 1M (6 pellets) once at bed time. Now, he said to take this for 15 days, and so far today (Feb the 3rd) is the fifth day.

I am going to stop for 2 reasons. One, because he did not say that any of them was my constitution. And two, because, I have not seen any difference so far having taken those high doses. There is a slight improvement in my sleeping, I feel like I have a little bit more energy in the mornings, but that's it. No great improvements in anything.

So, I did not take Pulsatilla for tonight and I did not take Kali Bi at night either. Should I take the Lycopodium tomorrow morning? It would have to be morning right since you said the first half of the day? Let me know what day to take it? What kind of sour foods to avoid? Like cheese? Yogurt, pickles right? Thanks
