No, but I do have some olive oil. I'll give it a try. Thanks.

I'm wondering, will I have to go completely off of all medications in order for a homeopathic remedy to "hold"? Seems since giving birth to my third child, no remedies are giving a lasting effect. Calc carb helped at first, and then only aggravated. Sepia helped, then turned to an aggravation. I tried Nat Mur a couple of weeks ago, and it helped greatly after an initial aggravation. Then the effect wore off, and so far a second dose has only mildly aggravated with no benefit that I can tell.
I have been able to get off of Wellbutrin. I will be getting a tubal ligation in two weeks, and can then go off of my birth control. I ordered an herbal remedy that I hope will help my kidneys so I can go off of my daily antibiotic. Would it be better to wait until after all that to try homeopathy again?

Also, I drink black tea every morning. I have an average diet with wheat and dairy and some meat. Some sweets. I always get broken sleep. Right now getting woken by baby every 1 to 2 hours all night.
Would any of those contribute to a remedy not working?

HI,

There are some hindrances in geting completely cured in your case as you have been taking the birth control medication, but I know it is not possible to completely stop them . Once you get tubes ligated you will be free of those medications, and I feel homeo remedies should start working. Until it is better to wait.
Black tea may cause obstacle as well. If possible try to reduce the frequency of tea.

Thanks for that. I will try to cut back on the tea.
It seems like the Nat Mur is now working. I think what I'm noticing is that I get about a 6 or 7 day aggravation, and then it works for me. Last time it only worked for about 7 days. So about 2 weeks in between doses for a 200c.
I am getting a definite improvement in mood and sex drive. A little extra energy and a boost in motivation for housework and such.
Does a long aggravation mean anything bad? I'm using 200c, is that too high if it has a long aggravation? I thought to try a 30c but didn't want to mess up the positive changes of the 200c. Does it seem likely that the longer I use it, that the aggravation should be shorter as time goes on?

Long aggravation is not bad. The aggravation depends on the sensitivity of an individual. sensitive person remains aggravated for longer duration hence it is necessary not to repeat the dose frequently. It is better to go slow.
Since you have started with 200C let the remedy act completely, usually it takes 30-40 days for 200 c to complete its action. Hence you can take 200C once a month or so or if symptoms relapses.
Also if you feel remedy is causing more aggravation, take the water dose of the remedy. Water dose means 4-5 pills in 8 to 10oz of water and take 1 teaspoon from that solution. Whenever you need a dose just succuss the solution for 20 times and take 1 spoon out of it.

This method will help to reduce the aggravation from the remedy.

Thank you, that is all good to know. After about two weeks, which includes 1 week of aggravation and the following week of amelioration, then I start to descend into irritability and snappishness again. Should I still wait two more weeks (to total one month) to repeat the remedy?

HOw much is your irritability at this point of time? Is it bearable or you think its "too much"?

At this point I feel it is OK, bearable. I feel it's more or less my baseline. Also I have lost a lot of sleep over the past few nights from sick kids, so I think it's also from sleep deprivation.
