Are mother tinctures homeopathy or herbal medicine? Page 5 of 10

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Dear simone

I have a question for you.(an important one)

When I had cholinergic urticaria (heat) I had tried several homeopathic meds:

Urtica urens 30 c

Apis mell 30 c

Natrum mure 6x

Others also

My query is that I did not get any relief whatsoever Zilch, nada.

Does that mean partial matches do not work at all? ? And only complete match works-- the true similum? ?

Or Did I take them incorrectly? ?

Kindly reply.

Is it gone now?

Did you have any aggravation after any of these?
And then perhaps thought you were worse and took something else?

simone717 7 years ago
Gone it is with diet change.

No I did not see any aggravation of symptoms with them. Just that I used them and they did not seem to help so tried one after another .overall no change.

Teupne 7 years ago
Well it could have been how you did the dosing? How many doses of each and how long you waited till trying the next one.

Or in diet change do you feel you are allergic in any way to what you stopped eating?

If so, those cases can be complicated, you need the full history and mental and physical. There are thousands of remedies - you may have needed one or two of those.

simone717 7 years ago
Is it easy to select one or two from thousands? ?

Yes was allergic to heat.Hot foods aggravated and triggered it.But could not make the correlation since eating them since childhood.

Teupne 7 years ago
By hot you mean spicy?

And now? You do not eat spicy?
Can you eat spicy or will you have a reaction?

You could have made yourself too acidic from foods. And this can happen easier if you had antibiotics in the year earlier.

So in that case , one would have to change food to heal and get to right ph and or take probiotics to get the gut to be able to have right flora again to handle spicy.

remedies cannot fix everything , they cannot fix the gut flora.

Try putting your symptoms in the Remedy Finder in depth. You will then see how it turns the answers into rubrics and then gives you a list of possible matches. That gives you a sense of how to start.

Dear Simone

I am on my way to complete healing.

Yes I changed my diet in major way. I switched to anti pitta diet and since then have never looked back.

No pungent sour and salty for me.

Never took antibiotics. Yes I take probiotics ad it is anti pitta

Dear cosmic weaver

Did you know that we store memories not only in our brain but also body organs. Not just body organs all cells in body are memory centers.

Thus intelligence and emotions are spread throughout the body.

Just felt like sharing.

Liver stores anger hatred

Colon fear

Lungs grief

Healing these organs leads to emotional healing.

Teupne 7 years ago
And vice versa, Teupne. Healing the emotions helps those organs heal as well.
Chinese medicine also correlates emotions with organ systems. Even in the English language we have sayings that reflect that.
"Yellow-bellied" (yellow being tied to liver/gallbladder)
"That just galls me"
Having a "broken heart"

alaskamom 7 years ago
That is so true.
And also why some resist bodywork
As it starts release of stored emotions that are not in present time.

Nobody wants to feel that stuff and when young especially it is stored so you can survive the situation.

But what went in as emotion has to come out as emotion. You can do all you want on the mental level to make sense, forgive etc but be very surprised at how healing systems will light up things you thought were "done".

I just read a study done with mice.
Scientists using optigenectics were able to splice a DNA fragment of something that will show up in brain as a color so they can track. I think
It was algae.

They found that in the amygdala that good experience memories are in
One part and trauma memories are in another part. They found when putting mice into a repeat trauma set up that IF they put extra light into the eyes?? That the mice could handle activity that had a previous trauma .
Without the light, the mice had typical
FREEZE ptsd behavior.

So very interesting as rapid eye movement therapy releases bad memories and helps ptsd patients heal.

Also cosmicweaver, the "stand" may actually be related to "fight, flight or freeze". Freezing is the reaction of our bodies to an overwhelming threat that cannot be diffused by fighting or running.
Some children, when faced with a horrifying situation, might get punished for running away or fighting back, so freezing may be the only reaction they have left. It may be akin to animals playing dead. The body just shuts down as the brain simply cannot handle the overwhelming fright. Keep in mind, too big a fright can cause death...so as a survival mechanism, the body shuts down and the brain may suppress even the memory of it in order to keep you alive.

alaskamom 7 years ago
Everything is also stored. Before 7years it is ALL stored as emotions.
The amygdala is in charge. There is no cognitive ability for a young child to say, well that tv show is make believe, etc.

So when these things start releasing it is the pure emotion of that time and very uncomfortable as the cognitive brain cannot figure out what this is about.bc it was not working and sorting during early years.

simone717 7 years ago
Right on Teupne,
TCM teaches the same thing. You probably studied this in more detail though through Ayurveda.

Alaskamom and Simone, yes.
You think you're done but you're not. It sits somewhere in depth, and it's not even accessible! But I don't really remember this so for I can't do anything. A remedy might bring it up if it happened, or just heal without remembering.

Dear cosmicweaver/alaskamom/simone

True that body and mind are closely integrated .One affects another , its both ways.

Unfortunately modern medicine does not subscribe to this view. They treat each body part as completely separate entity in itself.ergo the specialist and super specialists which is a big farce in my opinion.

For the same reason organ transplants are unsuccessful and can never truly be accepted by the body.

I think memories store even beyond 7 years .We are emotional beings and can never truly be above emotions.

Body work releases emotions. There is a book titled healing memories in ayurveda. It mentions not only traumatic memories but healing memories also .good stuff.

Teupne 7 years ago
To clarify- yes all memories are stored. But up to around 7 years they
Are stored differently as the amygdala is in charge.

Dear Teupne,
Would you expound this on organ transplant and Ayurveda? What do you mean by unsuccessful?

edit: To say this just in case - I'm not being disagreeable, I'd just like to know more detail. Sometimes things we say can come off in wrong ways because we can't see the face, hear tone of voice, etc.

I am often distressed here not to offend people from India. It's a different culture. I communicate more casually, where Indian society seems to have more formality. I never mean disrespect or offense with anything I say.

Hi

If reading is interesting to you, keep doing it. Make as many similarities you see as you can. This exercise itself is a medicine.

Pour out your heart. I am listening. I will intervene when necessary.

It is common for a beginner to feel that every remedy has something or the other that suits them. We all have gone through the same feeling.

So, keep reading and keep posting. Life is to be enjoyed. If you feel enjoyment in doing the reading and making notes, don't stop it.

Keep reporting.

Organ transplant in ayurveda:

Modern science says immunity rejects foreign body hence rejects foreign organs.

Ayurveda says that organ is not separated from rest of body.very intimately connected.carries your memories. Also carrier your doshic(vpk) imprint. Which translates to unique ,and physiological homeostasis/thinking/emotions.

Hence can't be replaced ever.immuno suppressants are required for foreign organs. Which also fail eventually.

You have not been disrespectful in any way.You are only asking things and seeking clarification. Disagreement is not an issue if objective and not bigoted. Also most new ideas /human progress came from disagreements only ;) so its good.

Forum is usually informal. That is one of its charms. In real life you would never never open up with someone .Its sometimes a partial substitute for real relationship. That has both pros and cons.

Teupne,
thank you for clarifying. Idk how I forgot that part, but yeah - facepalm - I totally forgot it, these people have to take the meds or it all collapses. It is very unnatural way of "healing" for sure. More like fixing a car.

Murthy,
That post made me cry (in a good way). I always think everyone thinks I'm annoying... Maybe it's because I've always been told to shut up in the house.

Well, I think I exhausted my thoughts on sepia. Have no idea if it's right for me or not. I've been wrong 3 times so I don't trust my judgment at all. Let me know what you think this is whenever you have time, and thank you for your kindness.
