very low immunity
I was in perfect health till ten years ago . I suffered reaction from an allopathic medicine " offlin" the reaction was so severe that I was hospitalized for 3 weeks and bedridden for 2 yearsMy immunity level is abysmally low and keep falling ill repeatedly. My tolerance to cold is negligible and I keep catching cold again and again. It is winter and I have caught cold several times .The latest episode is very severe.
I was all right till yesterday .went to bed around 11 pm . I felt light chill and slight shivering. The shivering lasted a few seconds each .I was having cough for the last few days and it got aggravated disturbing the sleep .The cough seems to rise from belly and is suffocating
I started feeling feverish and checked temperature at around 2 am which was 101.7 . the temperature has risen rapidly to 102.9 in morning. The head feels heavy as if congested and full of phlegm.There is slight headache. The breathing is a bit labored but there is no stoppage of nostrils. There is very little expectoration from nose and after cough. This is dirty white and thickish.Tongue is coated light white with clear edges and tip . The coating is slightly heavier at rear .
This latest episode has completely devastated me .I feel totally demoralized.
I do not want to take risk to go to an allopath.
I shall be extremely grateful if some one can help me in this crisis.
I am 74 years male with diabetes and hypertension. These are under control with oral medication.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take Nux Vomica 200 twice a day for 3 days.
One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Today is the third day of nux vomica .
The fever is subsiding but cough is getting worse, particularly during night ,so much so that I could not sleep properly for the last 2 nights . The cough follows tickling in throat which gets worse rapidly till I am forced to cough . Sometimes the cough seems to rise from belly . These spasms of cough during night are very exhausting and are getting worse every day . Lack of sleep is making me debilitated .
The heaviness in the head is also worse with headache once in a while.
I am always feeling chilly wearing several layers of clothes cap and muffler even when I go to bed .
Could you kindly prescribe follow up medicine to take care of these troubles .

I got routine ultrasound done for whole abdomen. A 6mm mobile echogenic calculus is seen in lumen . This was not there in the last ultrasound done a year ago.
I am also having enlarged prostate 58 gm with insignificant post void residue . I am having this problem for last several years without any major discomfort . PSA is well within limits .
I am really worried about the recently discovered calculus in gall bladder . There is no pain or discomfort so far but I am apprehensive about further development.
Could homeopathy medication help to resolve my problems .

As mentioned earlier I keep catching cold repeatedly.
Once again I have caught cold .
I went out on 31 Dec for a while in late morning. Even though I was properly dressed in warm clothes cap and muffler, the cold breeze has affected me . I have developed mild temperature around 99°F . I feel that there is phlegm/ mucous in chest which is not properly expectorated ,only a very small amount comes out through nose once in a while .There is some dry cough but quite infrequent.When I swallow saliva I feel some phlegm also being swallowed with saliva .
Nights are very troublesome. My nose gets blocked , mostly the left nostril and even when it opens the breathing through left nostril feels very cold and I feel the cold traveling to the lungs . Last night I had to plug my left nostril to avoid breathing through left nostril in view of the coldness of breath .Many a time the left nostril is blocked during day also .
I feel weak and devoid of energy . I prefer lying warmly wrapped up even during day .
Kindly prescribe some medication to relieve me of this predicament.

Please take Arsenicum Alb 30 and Rhus Tox 30 twice a day for 5 days. Please stop all other remedies. These two remedies should be taken with a gap of an hour.

Today morning around 6.30 AM I started feeling chill in upper part of body around lungs . I took some hot water due to which it is a bit less now .
I feel apprehensive about this development.
Would you like to suggest some change in medication or I continue with ars alb and rhus tox .

One should not worry when one is on homeopathic medication. Each remedy has a wide sphere of action and it does well even when symptoms change due to some external factors.
You should do some Anulom Vilom Pranayam regularly. This should calm down your mind and reduce your anxiety.

I have started anulom vilom pranayam as advised .
My present condition is as follows.
The feeling of cold in nose and chest is persisting . There is some discharge from nose once in a while. I feel that some phlegm is being swallowed with saliva sometimes . I feel worst in morning when I get up . The breathing seems to cause some irritation in left lung in morning which subsides during day . There is slight burning in the eyes .
Feverishness is still there , temperature rising to around 99 °F . There is some cough occasionally with rattling of phlegm in the throat which is rarely expectorated . Stoppage of nostrils is much less.
I feel very weak and exhausted on even little exertion .
Kindly prescribe medication to enable me to overcome this sickness .
