when i was waiting for your reply. i noticed few more things. her sucking power is not strong as it was before. but thought its just my thinking. Here in my country, there are lactatin centers. today i went there n two other breast feeding moms gave their breast to her n they also said she has poor sucking power. then i went to dr who examined her mouth n tounge n found every thing normal. my basic concern to be there was, i am having less milk supply. It was good untill last week. They said because her appitite is much reduced and that is the cause of lower milk production. i do not want to start formula. is there any medicine to increase milk production.(i have started pumping out brest milk to increase milk production).

I feel you are mixing up the issues. Once the stomach of your kid sets well everything will be well.

I still suggest to give Sepia to the kid & start giving small but frequent feeds.

it has been 7 days from the strt of sepia. here is update.

vomiting or spitt up much reduced. she is still vomiting out but now its once or twice a day.

she is somedays passes poops 3-4 times and some days only once a day. poops are painful for her. she exerts much force and her face becomes blue. poops are very soft.

she is very much gassy. she becomes blue and cried a lot when passes gas.

she has acne like red rash with some papules all over the face. chest forearms outer side of thighs and legs. this kind of rash is increasing day by day.

at niğht around 8 to 10 pm, she has colic pain and cried non stop. massage and warm pad on tummy gives her a bit relief. she becomes hungry at that time and want to feed but it is very painful due to colic.

nux vom 200 1dose or 3pills at night before bed time will relieve everything..

if its severe pain..at that time, magnesium phos 6x 4tabs dissolved hot water will give immediate relief

hi doc

i gave my daughter nux vomica 1 dose.she has started to be better after 3rd day of giving nux vomica(only one dose given).

she is having stomach pain (colic) in evening hours so i do massage, warm compress and sometimes give mag phos 6x.

vomiting had been much reduced.

but now for last 5 days she is vomiting again . even if she nurse for two minutes she vomit it out straight away. then feel hunger and cries and nurse one yo two sips n vomit it out.

bowl movements vary some days she has a bowl movemwnt only once a day and some days 3-4times a day. their consistency is normal n yellow colored.

she is exclusivly breastfed. after every 1.5 hours in day and every 3rd hour night. she nurse 5 -6 minutes total in one nursing session.

for last 10 to 12 days she has cold. no fever. runny nose is much better. but when she vomits it sometimes has very little phlem light green color. no coughing. but she nurse i can heard mucous rattling in her throat. once or twice a day i also give her steam. but does hv very little effect. that is only in term of not hearing that rattling voice for sometime. but not at all on vomiting.

my daughter is 7 weeks now n i gave her nux vomica dose 16 days before.

I told you to report after a week..

Please tell me changes in the percentage ...

drthoufeequebhms 10 months ago

This thread continues beneath the following ad.
what in %?

if u say amount of vomit then .....

because i am breastfeeding so cant tell hiw much actuall she has taken. but if we assume 120 ml at each feed as other 7 months babies r taking at each feed. then she vomits almost 50 to 60 percent at each vomit.

and as we are constantly weighing her at child clinic. two weeks before she gained 52 % weight. last week its percentage drops down to 40% weight gain in a week.

doctors here said..breastfed baby should gain 150 to 220 grams a week. last week she gained only 95 grams. her next check up is on tuesday. but i can easily guess that it would be much less as she is not wetting her diapers as she was before.

Recomended wet diapers are 4 to 6 and a dirty diaper 2 to 3. and she has only 2 - 3 wet and 1 dirty diaper a day.
