A small percentage also talk of negative things about him.
Well...duality is the law of the universe.
Jesus Christ was crucified by people surrounding Him.
Lord Krishna...attempts were made many tiems on His life by his own uncle ...Kansa.
Lord Rama was banished from his own kingdom by his Step mother.
Where good exists...bad also exists. Other wise you would not know the difference between the two.
Pl. see the sites...just go to Google and fill in Sathya Sai Baba.

What I was hoping for was that you might actually list some of the superhuman feats he has done that you can certify for us.

Judges of the Supreme Court, Generals of the Army, CEOs and Chairman's of world wide corporations, leading politicians and royals around the world, leading film and music personalities, sports stars, journalists...the current head of the Noble Foundation etc etc.
On the 81st Birthday of Sai Baba on 23rd Nov. 2006..the Indian President Dr. Abdul Kalam was with SAI BABA at Puttaparthi and inaugurated an Indoor sports complex there along with Sai Baba.
Sai Baba knows the past and future of each individual on this earth and He has demonstrated it to many many many of his devotees.
(Little difficult to understand by some)...but He also knows about the past lives of each and every individual who has taken birth on this earth.
About Himself ...SAi BABA has said that he will dwell in the current human form upto the age of 96 years....and will re-appear after some years as Prema Sai. In previous birth He was Shirdi Sai...who had and currently has a large following.
He has also shown a photograph of Prema -SAi. You can find it on the net too.
He has a universal appeal because He always propogates that God is one and all religions are different facets of the same single God.

I sincerely believe these BABAS are doing a thriving buisiness on the human weaknesses, present in everybody, however high he may reach.
This is a sort of madness, to worship a living being as God, who has all the shortcomings like any body else.
This Baba has generated mass hysteria and the whole propaganda is as a result of that.
India is a country of more than 100 crore population, and atleast 99.9 crores people care a damn about these Babas.
A minscule portion, who have their own high ambitions in life flock to this fellow for the sake of publicity, and doesn't want to leave no stone unturned.
Who knows, which act may help politically and otherwise?
So, why not visit this BABA once, and see if it helps, is the philosophy with most of the celebrities, and aspiring celebrities.

Last time I was in Puttaparthi (in August 2006)....I was sitting next to the head of the Police at Puttaparthi in the dinning hall and started a conversation. He told me that life for him in Puttaparthi was very simple as compared to his previous postings at other places in Andhra Pradesh state ...as in his words 'very much less crime' in Puttaparthi.
However, let me add that Sai Baba is surrounded by ordinary human beings and human beings all over as we see have some failings. Their short comings cannot be lumped to Sai Baba.

I have been sharing my own experiences.
I know people have different experiences and each one of us is the product of his / her circumstances.
I have seen the 'high and mighty' bow at the feet of SAI BABA....some of them are those who have never bowed down to any one in their lives. Such bending down ...only comes when internal convictions have experienced a major jolt....and the person has realised the presence of 'Almighty'...somewhere in his 'own little universe'.
Another thing Sai Baba teaches is:
No matter how adverse is your adversary....always remember....he is also a creation of the same God who created you !!
This was the essence of a discourse he made in August 2006.

I am also aware that it is difficult to change the convictions of others.
At the Landmark Forum Seminar...I was made to realise that 'major uphevals' in the lives of men make them to change their convictions. Also that ...each human being during his life time ....necessarily undergoes some set backs. It is a law/ pattern of nature.
Also...the Bible says 'The Lord breaks you to re-make you !'
There is a Hindi song in which the wordings have a meaning..... 'Dear God ..since I am asking you for a long life...also give me the strength to handle setbacks'.

Your personal beliefs are really not relevant on this forum. Having said that, I join Murthy is absolutely refuting these so-called 'miracles' - haven't they been exposed as trickery sometime? I marvel at the gullibilty of human beings and their desire to make living gods out of ordinary men. Or for their desire to find a person to deify.
If you read ZepOz's post, you might see the unwritten bits -skeptics, after all, think that homeopathy is no more than trickery and guile anyway.

It is better if people stop promoting BABAs here. Majority of us, who visit here,are not interested to hear anything about them, as most of what is said is irrelavant to homeopathy and health, the avowed purpose of the forum.
If each member starts posting about his preferred BABA, this forum will be full of such threads only.
And it is a delusion, if one tends to think that reciting BABA's name, everyday, and reading about him, will make patients here healthy.
It becomes our onerous duty to refute any claims that are made on behalf of this BABA, as the truth is to be known to everybody, and half truths are to be exposed.
It is futile to try to cover up our weaknesses by taking the name of BABA.
Let us try to understand them, and work towards coming out of them.
No BABA can help us, if we keep on deluding ourselves that we know it all, and all others have to learn from us.

A homeopathic forum is not meant to contain 'something for everybody' in the sense you imply. There is enough acrimony on this forum without bringing religion into it.
And Pankaj, please DO save your 'valuable time' to spread the kind of 'love' and 'kindness' you so frequently preach and so often fail to practice. You're making the same mistake as many others by taking otehrs opinions as judgement on yourself. Sorry if I offended you, but maybe you offended me. I did ask you to describe some of the superhuman feats that Sai Baba has done that you have witnessed. But all you gave me was some long talk about heaven and earth, and only what Sai Baba has said and claims to do, not what he has actually been seen to have done.
That is not really a valid response to my request at all. So I'm going to suggest to you that Sai Baba is VERY long on mystical talk and VERY short on superhuman feats.
For myself, I am always highly suspicious of people who do that. They always remind me of used motor-cycle salesmen - lots of flim-flam, no substance, and always at the buyer's expense.
However, as pointed out by others, this is probably not the place to discuss this.
