It is not possible to define the Creator by human beings.
Because everything created in the Universe is HIS creation.
HE is all around you, within you and outside of you....and everyone else is HIS creation (many times we forget the second part and start undermining others).
Human life is the most evolved form of life ....and in that sense precious....not to be squandered away .....
The pull of the materialistic world is huge....however as years pass...some of the glitter wears off....and humans turn God ward.
The ultimate objective of being granted this life is to recognise GOD (The Creator) and live in HIS glory.....becoz:
Death is a new Birth...
(Mrityu ek jaanam hai...)
Giver is HE and the taker is HE....
(Dene wala bhi woh ....aur lene wala bhi woh !!)
HE is the mother and father that provide ....and HE is the KING that judges...
(Data bhi woh aur Vidhata bhi woh !!).

If your views about Indian homeopaths are based purely on what you see on this and similar forums,perhaps you have a point.
India has a few lakhs of trained homeopaths,and atleast a lakh of them are good homeopaths.
You won't see them on these forums as they are too busy with their practice.
A good Indian homeopath charges upwards of Rs.300 per patient, and sees about 30 patients in a day on average. That is close to Rs 10,000 in a day, and a whooping 3 Lakhs per month.
By Indian standards it is lot of money, and you will find atleast a hundred such prosperous homeopaths in every major city.
Incidentally most of them follow the Hannemanian homeopathy.
I thought I should put thinks in proper perspective.

You have lived in a corner of India unaffected by terrorism. You have not seen young minds being swayed by the appeal of terrorism.... like it has happened in the North of India in Punjab and J&K for last 20 years......to you living 2500 kms away ...life in North India is like a movie.
But those whose lives have been affected by such happenings (and the future of whose children has been shattered beyond repair)definately want the influence of Babas and Gurus to sway the minds of all towards spirituality.
For 700 to 800 years it is North India which has borne the brunt of wars and invasions.....to the North Indians spirituality has a great appeal.
Religions are supposed to bring harmony amongst God's children ....but all along religions have divided people.
When some one proclaims that God is one and all religions are facets of the same God....then he is the most practical individual ...becoz (I repeat) :

Many years ago I accompanied an elderly German to meet with a leading Indian industrialist for a business meeting.
On way to the meeting I casually mentioned to him that childhood is one of the best periods of an indiviual.

Childhood stinks for A LOT of people, unfortunately. It there that we get our foundation, and many are walking around with a crumbling foundation, full of grief, insecurity, without a compass.
I think it's great that India has such a rich spiritual history. My own Master, Sant Darshan Singh Ji, came to me in a vision, before I had ever met him. Thanks to this path, I stopped eating the flesh of other living beings (thank GOD), and if I accomplish nothing else in my life, this one thing has made this incarnation worthwhile.

Dear Murthy, I will respond to your post above on the thread 'Indian Homoeopathy' if you don't mind...it's a tad too fanatical on this one for my taste.
I must say though, Constantly asserting 'god' as a HE in block capitals is not embracing all religions at all, only a handful, as many do not even believe in one, all powerful 'supreme being'. I think someone is confusing spirituality with organized religion, which are not the same things by any stretch of the imagination.

I, certainly, do not think of ALL THAT IS, GOD, The CREATOR, The SOURCE, etc, as a 'he'. I have no clue what IT is, and that's okay. I figue that I can only grasp certain expressions of IT. At this point in my life, I've often wondered if GOD is an IDEA.

Why do some people go on talking to others what they think what God is. Hardly any one cares what others think, because the perversion in such thinking only others can persive, and surely do all others persive, never the thinker himself. An Almighty, Omnipresent and Omnipotent God who is timeless and created and continues to create and maintains and balances this whole universe, can't be explained or discribed by a mere mortal to any infinitesimal degree of accuracy even. Perversion in thinking, I said, because, while trying to impose such cheap thinking, thay also compare or consider some conmen and even conwomen who performs public shows conveniently claiming to be god, and impressed a few less-intelluctals as the Almighthy itself. What petty brains they live on .....

I also wonder what anyone of you think about the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Medjugorje in Bosnia. The Lady I learned has been appearing for many years and until now to the visionaries and has been giving them messages - to pray for peace and conversion and to come back to God. The visionaries showed the visionaries a glimpse of heaven, hell and purgatory and that she wants all of us to go to heaven. She also talked of how God loves us so much and for this reason the Blessed Mother has been sent as God's messenger.

I do not know how I noticed this post and read it till the last and felt like posting again. i am an ardent devotee of shri Shirdi Sai Baba and have experienced his protection all times. The devotion came after I gave birth to a child who had congenital problems. The baby now 5 years old, is my bundle of joy but has a big share of her problems like she cannot walk, no control over bladder and partial control over bowel and the sickness related to this. Learned saintly people tell me she is a very spiritually realised soul and this is corroborated by very eminent astrologers. I do not under stand why such pure souls are made to suffer that much.
I took her to puttaparthi with a very strrong belief.
I thought Baba will probably call her given her spiritual status but found that it was very very difficult to catch his attention. Nevertheless God is everywhere and listens to you even if you did not have the good fortune to be closer to him. One year hence we found out about a treatment in Bangalore and took her there all the way from Delhi. The treatment was to be tried on her for the first time.
We came back and I was anxious as in this visit they had only taken a sample of her bone marrow and further tt would depend on the no of cells they Got. On the 2-3rd day of our coming back I had this dream which i vividly remembered after waking up.
Shri Satya Sai baba is taking a small stroll in a beautiful lawn(perhaps his own Garden, which I ahve never seen)and I see some people getting there child blessed by him. I thought and I gathered strength to approach him with the objective of getting my child blessed by him but he says this way everybody will come here. So I stepped back and thought perhaps Baba doen't like ordinary mortals like us. After sometime I saw a man with many bags came to supply something into Baba's big house . Baba came out asked hime to wait and gave hime a basket full of fruits. i again approach him & thought if he sees me may be I have better luck. He gave me a vessel which is used to carry milk. Sometime latter I opened the vessel and found very lttle milk as though has been poured into something else and about 100ml remains. i try to figure out what does this mean . Suddenly I saw my daughter walking without a trace of a problem and am overwhelmed with joy and Babas grace and thinking even if he has not called me nearer he has cured my child then as i tried to catch hold of my child lest she is injured given the thought that she has just started walking she starts running without anylimp and I am overwhelmed with joy and thanked Baba for everything.
Though Our first visit did not yield the results required for further tt and possibly another sample would be required I could not understand the meaning of this dream as I was praying to shirdi sai baba only and then suddenly this dream . Does it have any meaning at all!

First you have to know that Sathya Sai Baba is a re-incarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba.
Secondly, Sai Baba visits many of His devotees in their dreams.
If He has come in your dreams , He will guide you. Just keep praying to Him for an answer to your daughter's problem and keep repeating that 'I seek your guidance in this time of trial'.
Baba will guide you.
I have seen many cynical people turn to SAI BABA in their hour of difficulty...so don't get distracted by negative comments.
There was Mr. Sinclair in USA who was very rich but lost all his money in business. He was an athiest. He locked himself in his office chamber, took out a loaded revolver and placed it on his temple. He then screamed:

I saw one program in TV, where one of the Babas was healing people by passing them under hes raised leg !!
We can also compare these people with those who loot people by claiming to convert Iron into Gold or multiply the wealth of people.
I feel those who claim super human powers are actually fooling people and I am surprised how well educated people are also falling to the gimmics. THEY ARE ACTUALLY DOING GREAT DISSERVICE TO THE HUMANITY by not only tolerating but propagating such ideas.
