Dear Janey:
First of all, as ever, don't worry. Relax yourself and we find the solution to your problem.

Well, I've read your post, and in my opinion, your homeopath prescribed Lycopodium because is the Calcarea Carbonica';s COMPLEMENTARY. As you tell me, that's may have been a wrong remedy.
As I see, the change from C. Carb 30 to 200, was very fast, and the second dosis of C.Carb. provocated an aggravation of your symptoms.
We don't need to antidote Lycopodium, because there is no symptoms. I think It's better you take C. Carb 30, one dosis once every week till your homeopath come back.
With this intakes, we relieves the symptoms provocated by C. Carb 200 and -I'm sure- the symptoms provocated by Lycopodium will dissapear very soon.
I'll be at home till 15th july, later I'll go on holydays for five weeks. Please, try the prescription and report with the changes.
Warmest regards

Dear Andres,

Thank you for your reply. I will follow your advice. Calc carb was helping me very much i think, i should have followed my instincts and kept taking it. During the time i was taking calc carb i was not feeling internal heat, heat flushes and discomfort for the first time in like 2 years. I was sweating a lot but this symptom in of itself was not uncomfortable, i would rather have the heat have an outlet than just swell inside and make me feel insane.

I put my symptoms in the Remedy Finder on this website and i think it's interesting that the top 2 remedy matches were phosporous (number 1) and sepia (#2). This is ironic because i have always strongly felt that the start of this heat issue all began with sepia and also because i have thought for some time that phos. was a very good remedy for my nervous symptoms, especially since it relates the nervous system to excitability that 'produces heat all over.' this is exactly how i feel, i will heat up so quickly and suddenly and intensely. Anyway, i tried phos 30c some time ago, mabye like almost one year ago and it had a very bad aggravation so i discontinued taking it. However i have learned over the past couple of years that i am very sensitive to remedies and low potencies like even 30x over longer periods i think work better for me. Maybe after intaking of calc carb, if the heat issues are not fully resolved i will try phos again in very low potency liquid tincture, but hopefully calc carb will be the last remedy i need...as i said i was feeling almost 100% the first few weeks of calc. carb.

I want to thank you again for all of your help. I am very glad that at least all of my digestive symptoms have been resolved and this was due to your kind and patient help. I will keep in touch with the progress.

Best,
Janey

Well the day after taking calc carb i immediately felt much better so that is good news. However i still am heating up very suddenly all the time and feeling too hot and sweaty for much of the day. I am wondering whether i have reached the end of calc carb's benefits as i have been taking it now for 2 months (besides that one interruption with intake of lyc.) and still i am having this problem with extreme heat. Do you think this can be cured by continuation of calc. or do you think i would be better suited to try a good nerve remedy that might help to calm this heat down? Other than the heat problem all of my other symptoms are either completely gone or are well on their way to being diminished. I will continue with the calc. carb as you suggested but after a couple of weeks if i still see no changes would you suggest something different?

Maybe i have not mentioned this before but almost my entire life i was usually too cold, even in what other people would consider warm weather i was sometimes chilly, and at least certainly never uncomfortably warm. The only type of heat that ever bothered me before was if it was very humid as well. However, i should say that this problem of feeling too hot all the time that i have been experiencing for the past like 1 1/2 years or so, does not seem to be related to external temperature at all. It is something that starts inside and then just spreads throughout my body and instantly i am incredibly hot and sticky feeling, and then like you know, lately there has also accompanied it great sweat. But this can occur even if the external temperature is very cold.

Please share your thoughts.

Best, Janey

Dear Janey:
If you felt better, that's is the best sympthom.
Perhaps you have take too much Calc. carb. and you need spaciate the intakes. Please, instead once every week, try once every two weeks. With this space, we can value the calc carb effects and your necessity of it.
About the changes in your internal temperture or your feelings of it, I'm not susprised because along our life, our enviroment and our reaction capacity is changing. May be good to analyze your constitutional remedy when your annoyed symptoms are disappeared. I'm sure your homeopath can do it better than me.
Warmest regards

Hello again Andres,

Well i have given up on my homeopath. I have a very hard time getting a hold of him as he is usually unavailable and i find this very disconcerting especially when i am trying to follow up on a treatment he has prescribed that is having very bad affects. Anyways, i will search for a new one near to my home. In the mean time i am hoping to seek your advice once again.

I am no longer taking calc carb. It helped me very much with many of my symptoms but it is the mental symptoms that remain and i am hoping to now tackle those. After much reading i believe the best fit for me is kali phosphoricum. I am very much in need of a good nerve remedy to calm down my overly taxed, exhausted and sensitive nervous system. Kali phos. seems especially suited seeing as the cause of my symptoms come from an abundance of stress, too much studying and worrying much of the time. I feel extremely mentally exhausted and my nervous system is very over reactive. I am still having trouble with sweating and being too hot a lot of the time and it is definitely related to the nervous system. I actually think that phosporous fits my symptoms quite well if not better, but i have tried phosphorous before and it made me much more anxious. Maybe however i tried a potency that was too high. Either way, i think that currently kali phos is a good choice and i am just wondering what your oppinion of this is and also what you think would be an appropriate dosage and repitition seeing as i am trying to tackle a chronic (2 years) problem.

Just to give a brief update...
My digestive symptoms have cleared though i have still not been able to put the weight back on. My self esteem is creeping back and in general i am feeling very good about things. The problem however is that i feel very weak and exhausted...mostly mentally. I am ok physically about 75% of the time but when the mental symptoms are at their worst i also feel very weak physically especially when i am sweating all day. This will also cause my eyes to feel very dry and tired. I sweat on my back and under my arms. Even the slightest amount of stress i am not able to cope with and my body and mind feel like they will break if that makes sense. I feel very much in need of rejuvination so to speak and the sweating is getting really tiresom.

Please respond with your thoughts.

Best, Janey

One last thing, i often feel very thirsty.

Dear Janey:
About Kali Phosphoricum, I have to say thet is a very good choice when the principal symptom is weakness and tiredness.
In my opinion, Kali Phosphoricum as Schussler Salt would be the best option, because these salts usually don't produce aggravation and you can take them for a long time, maintaining the medicinal capabilities. Please, if you are agree with the selection, you can take one tablet, two times every day, before or after meals.
Warmest regards

Andres,

What do you think the best potency would be?

I am having a lot of trouble deciding if this is the best remedy for me...i think it covers many symptoms but also does not include some of my most prominent like profuse heat and sweating.

My most prominent symptoms are:

1. Anxiety, general. Both mental and physical. In varying degrees, some days better than others.

2. Nervousness.
3. Social anxiety. (a VERY strange symptom for me)
4. Sometimes very weak tired burning eyes, i feel like i need to squeeze them shut.
5. Profuse heat and sweat in times of nervousness/anxiety and physical exertion (but the sweating from physical activity i dont mind...i just call it a symptom because most of my life i rarely broke a sweat even during physical activity.)
6.Great thirst often accompanies anxiety...i feel 'dried up'
7. Insecure/loss of self-confidence. Fear judgement from others.
8.Worry excessively about the things i need to get done.
9.In general i feel like my nervous system is overtaxed, exhausted and overly reactive.
10. Also lately i have thick white mucus that hangs from my nasal passages that sticks in my throat and cannot be swallowed...very annoying!

Do you still think kali phos is a good choice?

Some unique symptoms that may help to guide are sensitivity to milk (has caused both digestive and skin problems to varying degrees at different points in my life) itchy hives when exposed to cold or after swimming in cool water, and recurring troubles with ring worm. These three symptoms i have dealt with on and off all of my life although interestingly all three were dormant (disappeared) during my teenage years. They all came back at different times in my early twenties. The hives from cold have gotten MUCH worse than from childhood. I would like to eventually overcome these but it may have to be at a different time, right now i am mainly concerned with the mental symptoms above.

Thank you again for your kind advice.

Best,
Janey

Dear Janey:
Schussler's Salts are in 6x and 12x dilution. Usually it's better 6x. If you want to try Kali Phosphoricum, you can try as 'Schussler Salt' or as homeopathic remedy in 6x dilution. As I said, one tablet, two times every day. This remedy makes you feel better in relation with your tiredness, weakness and stress.
About the other symptoms you wrote, you have two posibilities:
1.- Try with REMEDY FINDER, in this web page. You know better than me the symptoms and the modalities. When you have the final chart, please, post it to me, and I'll try to help you selecting the best remedy.
2.- Search for a good homeopath near you and explain him/her all the symptoms and the modalities. And don't forget to tell him/her your homeopathic history.
Warmest regards
Andrés
