food allergies and ezcema
my 4 year old daughter suffers from sever peanut and nut allergies she also is allergic to eggs, dogs,seasme seeds , ash tree and itches severly at night time . give acidophilus every day fro constipation , are theri any remdy to reduce food alleries she is allergic to dust mites and mold and had ezcema too . severly itches in heat and night timekids626 on 2007-04-11

we are going through this same thing with our son. Its not easy as you know. He has been under homeopathic treatment for well over a year and a half now. He is much better, his eczema is gone as long as we don't feed him anything he is allergic too. but, the food allergies still appear to be a problem. But we are not giving up on that either.
honestly, to help, you need to pick the right remedy, and its so complicated that you can't do it by yourself. with a child it really is necessary to get professional help. there are many different remedies which could be the right rememdy, and if you don't get it, it probably won't help. so my first advice, find a good homeopath.
second advice, look for deficiencies. both my and my son have sluggish thyroids. I think because of iodine deficiency which is very widespread but unknown to most doctors. check his morning temperate for a few days, if its low, you know the thyroid has issues (this can cause food allergies). look around on the net and you can find instructions to do this. If so, check out the iodine support forum at www.curezone.com for more information. we purchased 'detoxified iodine' for our son, but, its too early to tell what effect its having.
