Vomiting from cough

What's the difference between the rubric: 'vomiting, coughing' and 'vomiting food from cough'.

Is the first the person that vomits in a cough like way?

While the second actually vomits?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

Thanks Murthy!

In my repertory it doesnt mention 'on' with the first rubric so I thought they might mean something different. But if I compare your first rubric to the first one I mentioned it looks as if it is the same rubric....

There is an authentic Kent repertory online.

So far, I didn't find any mistakes/omissions in it.

Ok. Thanks!

I thought the Kent had been incorporated into the Synthetic Repertory and therefor never use the Kent anymore...

Synthesis has many new rubrics, which in my view are unsubstantiated.

Many medicines and new rubrics are added, which are still to gain authenticity.

The good old Kent is good enough for me. For the convenience of alphabetical listing, I sometimes use Murphy.

Murphy too did add new medicines, and new rubrics, but it was done in a limited, more cautious way.
