Dear Magicure!
I always have this at the back of my mind......"the case taking on the internet can be a lot imperfect".
This applys to both you and me.
That is why I always want the patient to do his own reading ...even consult a Materia Medica for himself/herself.
Just take suggestions from people like you , me, John, Sabra, Astra , Murthy etc etc.....but make the final decision himself / herself.
You will never find me wanting in the collaborative process because the patient is all important......it is a human life we are discussing. And to the patient it is the all important thing in the world.

There are also Cultural and geographical differences that come into play.
For instance when a person writes a name as "Saurabh" I am 99% sure the person is a male...whereas you may or may not be able to make out depending upon which country you belong to.

These are the situations I normally chip in.
Without bothering about the merits of the prescriptions in a relative sense,I suggest the following.
You definitely need Gelsemium.Start with that first.Hold back both Nat.mur and Pulsatilla.
Come back after a week.Post changes,improvements,worsenings,if any.
I always advocate one medicine at a time,and let Gels.help as much as it can.
Pankaj and Magicure, I hope, will agree with me that it should be tried first.

It is evident from Saurabh's symptoms that he needs Gels at some point of time. But I was more keen on starting with Puls ...
Anyways , even your suggestion seems fair enough.

Thanks for your understanding.
When patient is given a few alternatives,I always tend to suggest what I feel is the best course of action.
In chronic problems,any way,you need a series of remedies,and better to start with the more obvious.
Let us see, how Saurabh reacts.Some times I get a mouthful,for intervening this way.

Sorry for being silent for a while . was busy finding the prescribed medicines.
Also waiting for all of you to come to a common conclusion.
From your posts it seems i need to follow what Pankaj has suggested ..???
I have the medicines in pills form ( small round pills ) , i have a doubt regarding the meaning of dose .
Does 'one dose' means 1 small pill ( its really too small) ?
Pl. clarify.

One dose is 4 to 5 pills.Make sure that there are no odors around you,on you(perfumes etc),in your mouth while taking the medicine.

Hi ,
I would like to add a symptom which i often forget :
Redening of eyes while drinking water.
Dreams along with day's exp. which i experienced in last few days and tried to remember :
a). Dreamt that i was trying to cross a shallow river , filled with snakes, worms, and insects.
b). Pretty normal day,except I couldnt meet a deadline at work, was tensed/anxious at the presentation.
went to a party the same nignt. Got stuck in traffic both ways. Got in bed late ,
Dreamt of violance/killing that night, woke up with palps.
c). Woke up late , felt very dull/weak the whole day. Dreamt at night that i am crossing a narrow path coverd
with bushes containing lots of snakes.
This is just if it helps in any way.

Hi Magicure and Pankaj,
I started with Nat Mur and Gels but the problems seems to be aggravated.
Headache and bodyache is there along with nausea feeling. Could not sleep last night.
Also feeling very dull and weak.

Initial aggravation is a good sign,if you get relief subsequently.Stop further medication and wait for a few days.

Yes ... as Murthy says , initial aggravation of symptoms can be taken as a good sign on the path of improvement.
Now dont take any more doses , and wait for atleast a week. Observe all the changes closely, ( your energy level , appetite , sleep and dreams, bowel movements , thirst ...etc..) and if possible please post your observations every day.

Here are my observations for 01 Dec:
1) Sleep was dreamy, woke up with headache and bodyache. Weakness was there.
2) Energy level : low
3) Appetite : poor.
4) bowel movement was ok.
5) thirst : poor.

Your complaints have not improved . That shows that you are not benefitted from Natrum Mur and Gelsemium.
Its been may days , so I will just quickly go through your case again , and shall tell you the further course of action.

I have gone through your case again.
Right now , I would suggest you to take 2 doses of Nux Vomica 200 at night, today and tommorrow.
Dont eat/ drink anything atleast half an hour before/ after taking the remedy.
take 5-6 pills on a Clean tongue.
Avoid alcohol and coffee.
Could you post again tommorrow and day after at the same time ? ( I will be online after 8.30pm IST )

1.Bowel movements
2.Sleep (refreshed?)
3.Dreams (contents)
4.Energy level
5.Appetite
6.Mood/ mental state
Sooner than later you will see improvement in all these areas.You might need to take one more remedy to complement the action of Nux Vomica.
I shall tell you about that when required ..
Before you go for the tour, post about your health, so that we can assess the action of Nux , and then decided the further course of action.
