Dear faisal qureshi,

Diabetes is very difficult to cure with Homeopathy.

It needs lot of work to be done in this field.

sajjad.

phosphoricum acidum would help the patient in impotency and diabetes.

Dear Dr.Mehfooz

Dr.Sajjad is telling that phosphoric acid will help those patients, in whom the totality matches with phosphoric acid and not otherwise.

Even the basic reperterisation gives the following medicines for the impotency with diabetes.

phos. lyc. uran. sulph. plb. ph-ac. med. chin. calc. thu. nit-ac. lec. lach. helon. sil.

If you read about these medicines, one MM or the other will talk about diabetes and impotency.

The authors of the materia medicas in their prefaces clearly mention that the totality is important, and the indications they give are to be matched with totality.

We conveniently forget that and quote from books.

Very unfortunate situation for the unsuspecting patient.

Proper case taking followed by repertorial analysis for complicated and chronic cases, and then confirmation of the remedy chosen by reading the Materia medicas once again to satisfy ourselves that the chosen medicine matches the totality, is the only way to help the patient.

You can suggest medicine quickly for simple acute problems , if you have enough experience in dealing with these issues, but even the best doctors take time to analyse in chronic cases.

I repeatedly ask the folowing question to doctors who practice in a clinical setting, but I am yet to get an answer.

Suppose this patient comes to your clinic and tells these two lines, will you scribble ph-ac, and dispose him off without asking further questions?

When you don't do it in your clinic, why do you do it on the forums?

yes you are right mr. murthy, totality of symptoms is the key of success.
