The ABC Homeopathy Forum
Dear Simon
Dear SimonThanks for responding on this thread.
http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/116226/1
However I feel there is a need to respond to the 'patient' and 'treatment' aspect rised by Pankaj.
I will do so on a seperate thread addressed to Pankaj.
I too would like him to benefit from my 'analysis' of his behaviour and posts on this forum.

Don't leave a medicine which benefitted you abruptly. Use it as long as it helps, and when it no longer helps rise the potency to 200c and try again.

Alteration is reserved for very special cases.
Routine advices like this, which we give when we are unable to choose a correct medicine, with the hope that one of them may work usually fail to deliver results.
The danger with these altenations is that the symptom picture may get intermingled with the medicinal symptoms, and may pose difficulty while choosing the next indicated medicine.
When we try on limited symptoms for localised affections, one medicine at a time is the best bet.

Re: Pankaj Varma - Tooth Decay, Please Help From PANKAJ VARMA on 2007-10-20
FOR TOOTH ACHE it doesn't happen so.
I have tried it on hundreds of patients (in alteration the two recommended meds)with a very high degree of success....whereas Murthy speaks only from bookish knowledge.
If Murthy had ever tried it on patients he wouldn't have uttered such words.
Some people never learn from past mistakes.....
there is a Bach flower remedy for them....only if they will treat themselves as a 'patient' first and 'doctor' later !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the starting point for the thread to get de railed.
I was giving my advice to the seeker, of course a contrary opinion to what Pankaj believes.
Pankaj can always discuss on the points rised, but instead he resorts to personal name calling, and he goes scot free.
Do you really expect me to keep quiet despite provocations like this?
Perhaps one way out is to delete such nonsense posts summarily, when someone reports them to you, so as others won't have a chance to react.
For example in the above refered post of Pankaj, the second and third paras can be deleted without loosing the continuity.
This may be one way out..To intervene quickly before the situation becomes more complicated.

I am in no position to comment on the line 'If Murthy had ever tried it on patients he wouldn't have uttered such words.', as I do not know if you have ever tried it on patients.
Yes, I agree he was pushing it, but you did not report the post at the time of the offence was committed (or taken).
If you imagine you weren't involved, you can see how, your version of the starting point might differ from Pankaj's. He might label your following 'squeaking noises' post as the departure point.
I could have deleted offensive lines at any point (had I been made aware), but I tried that in the past,a nd I've come to realise that censorship solves very little, as people will say again what wasn't heard the first time.
There are two points I wish to make:
1) I appreciate your passion, but you and Pankaj are unlikely to agree. Please simply ignore each other's posts, and don't address one another in your posts.
2) If keeping the forum civil is solely my responsibility, and not yours, Pankaj's, Kuldeep's and everyone else's, then the only practical way I can proceed is to ban everyone who says anything at all offensive. I'm ready to do that, but I think it's a shame, as both you and Pankaj have valid points to make (though ideally, not to each other).
Thank you,
Simon
BTW, I'm not sure who the picture was aimed at, but if it was me then I take it in the good humoured way it was meant.

Your advice is good.
If people who have known difference of opinions, stop addressing each other, either directly or indirectly, most of the bickerings can be prevented.
I will try to do my bit to follow the above. I presume that you will intervene appropriately when others cross the limit, atleast when you were notified.
I will wait long enough after notifying you, even in cases where I need to react to defend my self respect.
The picture is meant for those people who interfere without any rhyme or reason.
Regards
Murthy

Why dont you ban everybody else except Gavini Murthy? This way you can have peaceful life.
All villages, communities, towns, cities and Countries have bylaws that they forbid any person who is the cause of unrest, no matter what virtue that person possesses or no matter what his agenda is.
I guess this is not possible in this community so why dont you ban everybody else except Gavini Murthy?
This way at least you can have a peaceful life.

Or reverse.

Is Murthy the cause of the problems, or is it other people's reactions to him? (rhetorical - answer not required or desired)
I presume you are going to do your bit to follow the above? If so, it would be nice if you could start right now.
Otherwise I may start following your advice. Who to start with, I wonder...
Thank You.
