2 year old with cold

Hi All

Was wondering what the best remedy would be for my 2 year old. He started with a cold 2 days ago - I gave him aconite for the first day.

He is ok in himself really, just a bit bad tempered, but he is full of it. A constant runny nose, which is causing his top lip and under nose to be red raw, coughing when he is asleep. You can tell he is bunged up when he talks, and is eyes look 'tired' too.

Is there a remedy to overcome the cold before it gets too late? When he gets like this at the beginning, he normally ends up with a chest infection and conjunctivitus!

Your help is appreciated

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Give him three doses of Nat-mur-30 at half an hour interval each just for one day only.

at the beginning of such episodes in the future, please give him ARS ALB 30C some three doses every 4 hours just for 2 days.

if in case the cough sets in the chest, give a dose or two of PHOSPHORUS 30C.
