Erectile DysfunctionI am 40 yrs old, 6 feet & 78 Kgs male. Non smoker, earlier non-alcoholic but now (for 2-3 years) take alcohol occasionally (not more than 2 large pegs, once/twice a month at the most). I have two children.
History Masturbation started at the age of 14, continued for about 12 years. At 26, in 1993 tried sex for the first time with my girl friend but failed Premature ejaculation. Sometime got ejaculated even during wearing condom. Took several months (nearly 15 attempts) to have a successful intercourse. The premature ejaculation (within a minute) continued during sexual activity. To have a satisfactory sex I always used to have sex twice because the second time, timing (10-15 min) was always great. This phenomenon continued for 2-3 years before I could start having satisfactory sex even during first attempt. The frequency was usually weekly with multiple sessions in a day.
In 1997, I got an opportunity to have sex with another female friend when I stayed with her in a hotel for 2 nights and 3 days in the same room but miserably failed to perform. I could not get the erection. This had shattered my confidence as I was due for marriage the next year. How an experienced person can fail? I could not get the answer. Due to this I was so nervous that I had decided to test myself on a call girl within 2-3 months of that incident but again failed. No erection. (During sleep good erection was present).
In 1998, got married. First night very little erection. But then on the second night, things were good for me and I really had a wonderful night. The penis was so hard that my newly wed wife got blood stains. After that no issues for several years and the life was perfect. Very active sex life.
In 2005, got closer to a female office colleague but despite trying to have sex with her I could not succeed. I must have tried for about 5 times over a period of 4-6 months in very safe and comfortable environment but every time failed. Surprisingly, during this period I continued to have satisfactory sex with wife sometime even on the same day when I failed with my friend. STRANGE!!!
During mid 2006, started feeling sexually weak. We (with wife) used to have sex only on the weekends. I develop a peculiar problem - used to get erection at the start which soften during the sexual activity. When this happened number of times, I started taking 10 mg Tadalafil (Forzest from Ranbaxy laboratories, India) tablet. This worked as magic for me. Initially I used to take not more than once a month (for a great sex) and other weekends were just manageable (okay kind) without the pill but then in 2007 I had to start taking the pill (same doze) twice a month as I felt the need for it. (During sleep good erection was present).
Now, if I have sex without the pill, it is somewhat a failure. No party is satisfied so I am taking 10 mg Talalafil on almost every weekend and it works like magic. One doze is sufficient for Friday and Saturday night. Since I am a bit worried about the total intake so lately tried to have even smaller doze 1/3 rd of a 20 mg tablet which is about 6-7 mg and still I am fully satisfied.
Other symptoms present Constipation, acidity, excess gas (foul smell), stones in the kidney. No other disease.
Lifestyle inactive, no exercise, long sittings in office.
Can somebody tell me the exact disease I have developed and how to overcome it? Since I believe in Homeopathy so long term treatment should not be an issue. Have already tried Lycopodium-30 for about two months with no visible effects.
