pilonidal cyst help

My husband is 32 and has been suffering with a pilonidal cyst for the past 10 years or so. It seems to flare up at least once a year. He suffers with it about a week or longer then it finally burst and drains this really bad color of blood and puss mix and smells.

Any natural suggestions?
