Carcinosin is related to Natrum Mur, Sepia, Phosphorus, Calcarea, Silicea, Staphysagria, Silicea, Lycopodium and Pulsatilla.


I do not see a case for Staphysagria or Sepia at all.

That leaves Natrum Mur as a medicine which we have not tried. But for it to be your remedy, you must enjoy brooding over past disagreeable events a lot. It is as if a Nat-m patient loves wallowing in the memories of past hurts.

On another front, I personally would think that Carcinosin might be the right remedy, as your wife has noticed improvements in your mood. When was the Carcinosin dose taken ?

Hi Sameer,

I do actually have a moderate tendency to wallow in the memories of past hurts. In fact, I used to do this a lot, but have learnt to distract myself from doing it or bottle it up, as it effects others.

I took the Carcinosin dose about 10 days ago.

If Carcinosin was the correct remedy, wouldn't I have noticed, personally, some dramatic change in my mood?

I would recommend taking a higher dose of Carcinosin, before leaving it.

Which brand did you buy this Carcinosin of ?

I don't actually know the brand. They are sold by a local homeopathy shop. They have a quite a lot of remedies, and some practicing homeopaths, so I expected them to be OK. The remedies come as small round white pellets that you disolve in pure water.

Should I try to obtain them from somehwere else?

What higher dose would you recommend?

Carcinosin is one remedy about which I usually tend to be very brand conscious. And, that is because of the slightly controversial nature of its preparation.

Please procure Carcinosin 200c from Helios UK.

Buy 5 ml oral liquid, and take a single dose as below.

Dissolve 2 drops in 250 ml spring water, stir with a spoon and take a teaspoon from there just ONCE.

It has been 11 days now since I took the Carcinosin 200C dose as suggested. I haven't noticed any positive or negative changes unfortunately.

Should I proceed with a Nat Mur dose now? - and if so, what dose?

Please take 3 doses of BRYONIA ALBA 30c equally spaced during a single day.

Each dose is 1 tsp.

Report in 1 week.

Before you suggested taking the Carcinosin 200C, you indicated that Nat Mur might be the next closest remedy.

Could I ask why you are now suggesting Bryonia instead?
Is it because you hve done a reassessment?

Hi Sameer,

Hope you are well:)

It's been about two weeks now since I took the Bryonia 30C dose.

I have not really noticed much of a positive change.

My hayfever has been slightly worse though...which is strange for this time of year...but it has been VERY dry weather here - which usually effects me.

I also strained the ligaments in my lower back recently - seems to be a bit of a weakness.

My mood hasn't really changed as I would have expected from a 30C dose.

Any further suggestions when you have a moment would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I definitely don't like iijustice - and feel reasonably strongly about it - to others and to myself.

I feel sympathetic towards those effected.

When it happens to me I feel frustrated if I can't do anything about it.
