HELP!!! severe stomach ache

i am writing on behalf of my brother. he is 16 years old. he has severe stomach ache since this morning. he has vomited over 4 times by now & still has stomach ache. it is not a pinpoint(i mean sharp) stomach ache. he says that the area of pain changes. once the pain would be at the right side of the lower abdomen sometimes at the left side and at sometimes all over the stomach. what might be his problem. please suggest remedy.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I would say lycopodium, but wait for seniors to reply.

could you confirm its from right to left?

It is important to know the causation in these complaints.

Did he eat any new food/ spicy food/ non veg etc?

Is there diarrhoea too along with vomiting?

What is the type of vomit?

Is it watery/ bilious/ containing undigested food etc?

the stomach ache has no proper sequence of pain. he didnot eat any new/spicy/non veg food. and there is no diarrhoea. the vomit is watery with a few yellow colored sputums and does not contain undigested food.

Does the vomiting come easily or has he to make efforts to vomit?

Does the stomach pain subside after vomiting atleast temporarily?

Does the sensation of vomiting cease atleast temporarily after each vomit?

yes, he makes efforts to vomit and finds temporary relief for about 1 hour but the stomach ache never subsides.

O.K.

Give him three doses of Nux.vomica 200c spaced around two hours.

Report back his condition tomorrow morning.

However if his general condition deterioates, take him to a proper hospital.

If the condition is tolerable use Nux as suggested and give a report tomorrow morning.

whenever I see someone with this problem I will divert my thought to what things you have considered

It is certainly a good learning for me
