right. you can purchase it over the counter. Also, another tip. I would suggest using moisturizer while on the program. Benzoyl peroxide would dry up the skin as well as the acne so bring along a moisturizer when goin out.

Benzoyl Peroxide will dry up the acne but it's aesthetic and only temporary and it's not addressing the root of the problem. Perhaps you need to look at the potency of the silica - find a homeo here on this site that will guide you through it. The homeopathy, in my view, is the deepest and longest acting way to treat acne , and it works on live acne and scars, but it's important to get the dilution and dosage right for each person.
Anything topical like acne creams drive the problem deeper in- i'm sorry but that's what happens.

Thanks for the info Carlotta, actually im trying silica myself for like 2 days. I was just giving an alternative way to treat acne. But if you think that in the long run it would not do good then so be it. Have you been on Silica? how does it work for you?

yeah its progressing, no one has said anything to me yet like "your face is looking better" as far as the mixture goes, there is plenty of info on the kuldeep posts. he has the recipe all spelled out.

Actually, Im on silica for 2 days now. But I'm really not quite sure If I have made the mixture correctly. As listed on the previous posts any form of rock would do. I guess if that's how it should be I suppose I did it all correctly.

I have been taking silica 200c for about a week, and haven't noticed anything. Is 200c too high of a potency(or whatever)? I tried to make my own, but I couldn't break the rocks. I am only taking 3 of the little pill things a day, should I be taking it more often? I mean, Im not even breaking out at all or anything! Then only thing is that I am cramping a lot, which I thought may happen because I have a c-section scar.

its best to use either the white granite or transparent clear rocks. I got mine from the local railway.

I just started doing the asprine mask. I take about 10 aspirin and crush them with a spoon, really good. then I add a LITTLE bit of water(like a teaspoon, the kind you use to eat with, not a measuring). I leave it on until it dries, then dab my face with a wet cloth to moisten the aspirin. Then I rub my face to exfoliate. I have only done it twice, but I think it is healping the red marks in my scars.
I have a few questions about the silica. I quit the 200c stuff and made my own. I started it about a week ago, but after 2 or 3 days I realized that I made it wrong. So 2 days ago I made another batch. My problem is that Im not breaking out at all, I am not tingling, nothing. Does that mean that its not working? I am noticing differences in one of my smaller ice picks, but I dont know. I do drink a cup of coffee a day, and I am a smoker. I have heard that a cup of coffee a day will not antidote silica. But is there anything else that could be making it not work on me? I believe that kuldeep said steroids will antidote it, so I have read everything that I put on my face. How long did it take for you guys to notice improvements?
another thing that I dont get is WHY such a low potency? I mean, he said that the lower potency will make it easier to go threw the skin. But I thought that the potency just means that you put more or less of the rock dust, not bigger or smaller dust. And I also thought that the reason that the scars improve is because they are forign objects in the body, and when taking silica the BODY(not the silica) pushes out forign objects. So, wouldn't a higher potency make it work faster? Put the body more in shock, so that it pushes out forign matter faster? I don't know, kinda confused.

If your not feeling a tingle then I would say its not working just yet. Did you crush the rocks until it was powdery? I mean until you could no longer make it finer dust? It should be okay if thats what you did. make sure you shake bottle before each dose. Hope this helps out.

I did crush them very finely. But at the bottem of my bottle(of mecicine), there is very little dust. I do shake the bottle. Is it a strong tingle? Do those of you who are getting results drink coffee, or smoke? I am just wondering if that is why it isn't working yet. Just getting worried...
Im glad to hear that it does work for some, and I will continue using it.

not a strong tingle for me but just once in a while I might feel it. sometimes it might just be like an itch. I did stop drinking coffee for this and for the most part its stopping my outbreaks(had some chinese food and that killed my progress) I dont smoke either but I have no clue about that even causing a problem.

According to Murphy's Materia Medical Silica is not antidoted by coffee. However, many remedies are, and most are sensitive to it. Smoking I'm not clear on, but anything that goes into the mouth can affect a remedy.
Chinese food probably antidoted your progress because of MSG, it has a very negative impact on the body. Avoid it, ask them not to put it on your food, if it's already in it, I suggest you eat elsewhere.
Silica is very a slow acting remedy. It helps to rebuild the architecture of the skin, expelling foreign substances in the process.
My teenage daughter is experiencing wonderful progress with recent chicken pox scars, as well as assisting in healing acne and reducing the oiliness of her skin. She has not expressed any 'tingling' in her skin and healing is happening. She also had experienced excessive sweating on her hands and feet and now that has diminished considerably.

So are most of your guys' scars newer? Most of mine are at least 2-5 years old. I know it works quicker on newer scars, but the only scar I have seen noticable differences in is at least 3 years old. It is a small scar, and that could be the difference.
I think that Kuldeep said that results should be permanent after 2(or maybe its 3) months, but does that mean to keep taking it for 2 months AFTER the desired affect has happened? Or is it that at the 2 month point, there is no more progress? Maybe I didn't read the thread so well.

Oh, and I felt the tingle today...YEAH! Just a little in between my eyes, where Im seeing the improvements. Would there be any reason it would effect different parts of the face, and leave others alone?

I have the rolling acne scars. About one or two ice pick ones. and one scar i have no idea how i got. on my cheek bone its like a line scar thats darker than rest of my skin. do you have alot of ice pick?

Um, Im not sure what my scars are anymore. Im almost positive that the ones inbetween my eyes are ice picks, lots of small ones. Then I have some im my smile lines (but on my chin, if that makes sence) that I thought were rolling, but when I look close they look like a ton of tiny ice picks. It looks awfull when I smile, and you can tell that the skin is bound down there. then I have two on the right side of my mouth, right above and below my lips, that look like I hit something and my eye teeth came threw my skin...I don't know where those ones came from.
I did break down and just go buy the silica 6x, I don't knwo that I made the homemade stuff right, but it didn't seem to be haveing the same effect on me as everyone else. The store bought 6x seems to be better for me. OH, and did you see that kuldeep is back on the other thread?
