6 year old son with severe ADHD

From the time my son was born he was very alert, never slept. He would only sleep about 2 hours total a day, on and off. We tried everything!!! Even Ferber's method, which was horrible and he was still awake 6 hours later after.
He finally started sleeping by about 18 months, but only next to me. When we moved him to his own bed at the age of 2, he would have night terrors and then started sleep walking. He would do this almost every night. It became somewhat better by age 4, but not completely.
He started walking before 9 months, very strong and determined. Climbed constantly and was always into something. We struggled getting him to sit still long enough to eat, and he craved anything sweet. He liked creamy textures (frosting, butter ect..) He more recently has been wanting fruit, and has been eating ice. He would even sneak cans of fruit into his room, where I'd find empty cans.
He talks constantly at school, and is easily irritated, and will hit or bite at someone when he is angry. He feels the other children are always out to get him in trouble, or are bad.
He is extremely intelligent, and knows so much that other children his age do not, but throws tantrums when he is upset. He has a very engeneer like mind set. Loves to build and make things, and creates his own 'potiions'. He is very interested in religion and polatics. Sometimes when he gets in this mind-set of irritation, it has taken a month or more to get him to behave again. It kinda hits in phases.
His iron stays border-line low, (which I believe is genetic from his fathers bloodline) His veins will look protruded, and he'll have circles underneith his eyes. He likes to be covered completely while sleeping, even his head. When I wake him, he is usually covered in sweat.
He does very well one on one, but in the classroom (especially recess and PE) he stays in trouble. He plays very rough, and doesn't seem to understand that he hurts others that way. Very good at making up stories.
If I can think of anything else I will add later,.
We did see a homeopth, that gave him Veratrum Album, 2x diluted. His symptoms were more extreme for the first 12 or so days, and now he seems back to where he was, with little or no improvement. I think she wants to give a less diluted dose in a few weeks. Any thoughts on this would be very appreciated.
Thanks Zhena

Hello,

Can you please tell me , how affectionate is the child ?

Any other fears apart from the night terrors at age 2 ?

How emotional is the child ?

Which part of the body does he usually sweat the most at during sleep ?

When you say he is 'good at making up stories' , you mean he lies to cover up situations ?

Thank you Sameer for your quick response.
He is very affectionate, touchy feely type. Loves to kiss and gives nose rubs, and extreme bear hugs. Loves babies and toddlers.

No fears that I can think of,he is very God fearing though. And really wants to be good, he just can't seem to control himself. He has stayed w/o sleep for such long periods where he would hallucinate and see bugs under his covers and pillow and have a type of terror.

VERY EMOTIONAL!!! He takes everything personal.

The Head, he sweats very much from his scalp.

Yes, for example: Teacher sent a note home, when I looked in his backpack it was not in there. He told me his backpack was open, the wind blew it out and into the garbage, then the garbage truck hauled it off and shredded it.

He also seems to have a very hard head, and would often head but alot when he was smaller.
I have noticed these episodes are much worse during times when he is having trouble sleeping the most.
Thank you for your time, and expertise.

4/. Is the patient very independent? Obstinate? Are they very sensitive to reprimand?

5/. Is the patient VERY profoundly affected by music? with a great love of dancing, and keen sense of rythm?

6/. Does the patient suffer from a kind of 'intellectual torpor', which makes intellectual thought difficult?

7/. Do they feel as if they have suffered from some kind of great loss?

8./)Are you a perfectionist ?

1. Other than the fact he was born during a storm no.
2.Doesn't appear that way in my opinion.
3.Yes, emotional. And he does not like it when others are sad. But doesn't seem overly empathetic.
4.YES, YES, YES! Becomes very upset when corrected, and does not listen when given instructions, or rather chooses to ignore them.
5.No, noy too much on music, although his sisters fit that.
6.Seems like it comes in phases. He sometimes will know something, and then will act as if he doesn't. When I know this is something he knew before.
7.Not that I am aware of.
8.Somewhat
9.At times.
10.No, but he is and his paternal grandmother is prone to head sweats.
11.No
12.Yes, and so does he.
13.Yes, singing, photography, dance and art.

Actually, the 'you' in the above questions was for the patient :), so if you can please answer questions 8,9 ,11, and 13 for him as well , that will be good.

Also, when he suffered from insomnia when young was there a period where he would ONLY sleep if rocked ?

And, please tell if he is a very intense and passionate ?

Sorry about that, the format was a little different. :)
8. Yes, he's extremely messy though. His room looks as if it was hit bt a hurricane. He gets extremely upset when he can't fugure something out.
9. No, the best way to defuse him is to use a distract method.
10. Yes
11. No
12. Yes
13.Yes, painting and building.
No, rocking never worked for him. I'd have to go into a pitch black room where he could not see, and hold him for hours until he fell asleep, and then he wouldn't sleep any longer than 45 minutes if that.
Thank you again.

Dear Zhena,

Please give him 3 doses of CARCINOSIN 30c equally spaced on a single day as below.

Dissolve 2 pellets of Carc 30c in a 250 ml mineral water bottle. You can shake it gently after they have dissolved.

Take a capful from this bottle 3 times in one day, spaced by 2 hours. This is to be done for one day ONLY.

Let me know in 7 days after these 3 doses.

Restrictions:

1/. Nothing should enter the mouth for 40 minutes prior to, or after taking the remedy.
2/. Do not touch the tablets with your hands, tip them into the cap of the container they came in and then into the water .
3/. Avoid coffee, tea (including green), and other sources of caffeine such as some fizzy drinks and large amounts of chocolate, except where this would cause a drastic change in consumption
4/. Avoid wearing perfume/aftershave, or exposure to anything with a strong smell while under treatment. This includes any and all essential oils, and incense.
5/. Avoid the consumption of excessively spicey foods
6/. The use of medicinal herbs, either as 'teas' or supplements should be avoided during Homoeopathic treatment, as should the use of over the counter medication, unless this has been recommended by an MD.
7/. Nothing of a medicinal nature should be applied to the skin

i treated my add with binaural beats,
non invasive, no medecine

maybe something for your son?

here is my story

I was diagnosed with add when i was 15
i have a whole history of eating disorders
I was depressed and i started to develop anorexia in highschool i went really skinny
then i went to boardingschool the last years and i didn't ate during the week but i binged during the weekends.I was on rilatine
later on i went on concerta, still depressed as hell
at university i started to develop bulemia then i went on wellbutrine to help this disorder as well as to help me concentrate
it kept on going worse, especially when my father died when i was 20 years old,
I couldn’t sleep anymore, I had insomnia, I couldn’t fall a sleep until like 4 AM, I started with sleeping pills as well
i kept on binge eating and throwing up sometimes 8 times a day
i felt so sick, disgusting even though i wasn't fat, i know that now

then i started to figure out why i had this and alternative ways to treat this

i started using BINAURAL BRAIN FREQUENCIES, special ones to heal add/adhd,
i knew about them because a friend of mine had severe adhd and with medication, he went creepy violent, he cured his adhd with the frequencies. He advised me to try them aswell so i did.
there was i site where i got them from
you can email me if you want to know wich one, i have it here somewhere

A WHOLE TURN started in my life!!!
i felt more confident, more alive, less depressed, so much more happy and i could focus and concentrate like never before! i even stopped binge eating and throwing up
i lost my bulemia with another specially designed track for gaining control over cravings, and have a balance in my brain
i went completely off ANY MEDICATION even wellbutrine!! AND STILL HAD GREAT SCHOOL RESULTS

I can sleep like a baby, my insomnia was gone, no more sleeping pills for me

i feel so great now, have my life energy back and just love life without any medication

i'm now also a completely raw veganist,
without cravings for unhealthy food

i just wanted to share this,
it ll help other people as well
