Enlarged tonsils and adenoid.Out of desperation I went online to resolve the problem of my 3 years old daughter, who suffers immensely for almost 2 years. My girl snores and breathing with efforts, she always had very bad appetite and in about 3 month became underweight for her age group. In august I decided to try a day care and after a week she got a cold and developed an ear infection. The pediatrician prescribed 10 days of Omnicef ( antibiotic), ear drops (Ciprodex) , antihistamine (rinotan) and Nasonex. I gave her acidophilus( calturell), but after the completion of treatment she completely lost her appetite and became even skinnier. The treatment didnt help. I went to see several ENT doctors that recommended partial tonsillectomy and removal of adenoids. ENT told me that my girl still has the fluid in the ear, which cant come out due to the enlarged adenoids. Also she has a moderate hearing loss on the right ear. I am very concerned about the outcomes of the surgery and willing to try anything to improve her entire situation. My main concern is her breathing and eating. Thank you for your help.

Other than that - Loss of apetite or rejecting food means that body doesnt want anything to go inside as it is trying to heal itself internally as good as comparing ourselves with dogs or animals who when ill reject food and go in hibernation.
All the best.
