This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
What's your age?

What treatment did you take for TB 30 years ago and what medicines are you currently taking?

How frequent do you suffer from all these symptoms that you mentioned?

sorry. I have been out some day. I took Rcinex and mycobutol. My recent scan report is as follow:
Collapse consolidation in the apico posterior segment of left upper lobe.
Honey comb appearance in the aterior segment of left upper lobe - suggestive of bronchiectais.
Para septal emphysematous changes in the posterior segment of both upper lobes right middle lobe and left lingula.
pleural thickening in the apical and posterior segment region of both upper lobes volume loss in the left upper lobe.
intra and interlobular septal thickening in the both upper lobes.
traction bronchiectasis in the medial segment of right middle lobe and superior segment of left lingula.
Compensatory hyperinflation of left lower lobe.
Thickening of bronchial was and dilatation in the posterior basal segment of both lower lobes-suggestive of infected cylindrical type of bronchiectasis. above findings are suggestive of sequelae of pulmonary tuberclosis (left>right)

I am alright as long as i remain immobile. i become short of breath even if i do my daily chorus. please help me.

Do you have or did you have in the past any other symptom that is not related to the respiratory system?

Please if you can describe about your childhood and days as a teenager, details like how you'd relate to other people, your relationship with your parents, etc.

What's your occupation?

As i already mentioned i get treatment for tb when i was 20 years. But from then on i was often easily catching cold and running nose. then i thought it was some kind of allergy. sometimes my lungs will be infected and took antibiotics. for some years i thought it was asthma. then i was told it was fibrosys. but i cannot understand what it is. but continued to take medicines. in the meantime my lung capacity continued to decrease. Now i am not able to walk even for 5 minutes. If i walk for 5 minutes i get short of breath and get tired and my heartbeat increases and i become very much depressed. what can i do please help me.
smanimdu last decade
Okay, now I know about the history of your respiratory symptoms but when I asked those questions above it's actually I need you to tell more about yourself and things that are not directly related to your symptoms.

It's only possible for me to indicate a remedy that works effectively if I get to know a little more about yourself, peculiarities, things that differs you from others. Please if you can, try answering all the questions above.

dear sir,
i am sorry. actually i did not have any other symptoms. I would start to sneeze in the morning and running nose. sneezing and running nose will continue for a day or two. Out of frustration i'd take cetrizine tablet and the sneezing will stop. But after that i would start to cough with lot of phlem. And then i'd visit a doctor and would be given some antibiotics for phlem and cough. this is the story for the last 20 years.
As my work involves me to be on the roadside for 4 to 5 hours three or four days a week, i thought it is the dust and pollution which caused the sneezing.
some 6 years ago my left year became short of hearing and the ENT specialist said there was hole in the eardrum it might be due to lung infection.
as for my childhood i think i am OK. It was while I was 17 or 18 yrs my parents became TB patients. After 3 or 4 years i was also affected and got treated. During my treatment we have to move to another town after my college. In the new place i dont have any friends and spent most of the times alone or reading. At that time i was somewhat complex about my parents and me as tb patients and my neighbours avoiding us. i felt depressed. Even after i got a job i can not rid of this depression you may say it is some kind of inferiority complex.
i think now i have answered what you have asked for. thank you.

Thanks for answering. That's the information that I needed.

Do you drink milk?

Do you have any dog or cat at home? Do you like pets and animals?

How much was your average weight approximately since your youth until 30 years of age? In general in terms of weight have you always been average, skinny or overweight?

What kind of snacks do you like?
raphaeloliveira last decade
yes i drink milk.
no pets in my house.
i don't like them.
actually i was very skinny till 26 years due to poverty in family and myself being infected with TB and was under weight with 42 to 45 kgs. AT 26th year, i got a job and started to earn and also began to add weight and for the past 10 years it is above 70.
i like south indian oily snacks.

dear dr.raphaeloliveira,
i would like to clarify my doubt about my being a copd patient. is it really copd?
my ct scan report says something about bronchiectasis.
what is actually ailing me?
please help me.
smanimdu last decade
I'm sorry for not replying earlier, I had not seen your past message.

- You had mentioned that your work involves you being on the roadside, what exactly does your work consist of?

- What kind of job did you get when you were 26 years old?

- Why you don't like pets? Did you like them as a kid? What's your feeling about them?

- Would you usually feel better in a room inside the house, or being outdoors in open air?

- Do you usually keep doors and windows of your house open or closed?

Now answering your question, in order to select a remedy from a homeopathic approach and point of view it wouldn't be the most relevant matter what name does your disease receives. But instead what it does matter is each of your symptoms individually so before I see you as a person with copd or any other disease label, I'm seeing you as person who has short breath and can't even walk for 5 minutes, who takes cold easily and has frequent fever, cough, lung infection and so on. That's what differs allopathy from homeopathy, the first treat the disease and the latter treats the person. You can make yourself a clear example of that, a person who has been getting treatments for diseases for over 30 years now, and the symptoms are constantly changing and the cause has not been removed. What Homeopathy offers is to remove the cause, so in some 10, 20 years your symptoms wouldn't manifest again in form of some other named respiratory disease.

dear sir,
my job details. i think i did not mention my nationality. i am from near Chennai, India. Govt employee. stenographer. in India lots of public meetings are held daily. my job is to cover these meetings and take down notes of the speeches. these meetings are conducted mainly on the roadside. so i have to sit on the platform for 4 to 5 hrs in the midst of dusty and smoky traffic. this is my job for the past 25 years.
with regard to pets, when i say i don't like pets, actually it is not my dislike, but in india having pets in houses is considered a luxury which most Indians can not afford.
yes i feel better while inside the house. but i like to be out and among friends and like fresh air. but my city, Madurai, the second biggest in Tamil Nadu, is very dusty and smoky and i mostly avoid going out.
i keep my doors and windows mostly open except during rain and winter seasons.
thanks for keeping in touch.

- How were you emotionally at younger age, and how's your temperament nowadays?

- Did you ever have problem controlling angriness? Or have you always been more a calm person?

- What allopathic medicines are you currently taking and how frequent?

- Have you ever taken any homeopathic medicine?
