Hello!

Reading your first post, I had to remember what I went through with my first daughter. It is very frustrating not being able to help them. I was not fortunate to come across such a discussion at that time. She was given Colocynthis, but it did not work for her. The only thing that really helped her was to mimic a womb-like environment, which included lots of baby carrier use, white noise, dimmed lights and breastfeeding. When she turned 13 weeks, it disappeared as magic - it is a lot related with brain immaturity. I would recommend the book The happiest baby on the block, from Harvey Karp, it is very helpful. The reflux tends to disappear completely by the age of 9 to 12 months. You can elevate his cot to help.

Now, I have another daughter, she is 5 weeks old. She has been restless from 18:00 to 21:00. She also has some difficulties to open her bowels, using great force for that, and struggles to pass wind. Reading what Raphael wrote, I think I will try to use Gambojia. I would love to hear what Raphael has to say about it. They gave me Nux vomica, because she also wants to breastfeed all the time, but I haven't use it yet - I am not sure if this is the right remedy for her.

Merry Christmas to all of you!

You won't believe it but I did get them...finally!Won't go into details...
But now I did a mistake.I gave him one dose two days ago in the evening and another one yesterday in the morning...does it make a difference?
Anyway, last night wasn't too bad but it's to soon I guess...some days/nights are worse/better than others. Shall I wait or does he need another dose?
Thanks...and happy new year :-)
