Baby thrush

I'm not sure if my last post worked so I am going to try this again. I am a new mother. My daughter is a month old and we both have been struggling with thrush for the past few weeks. I've taken her off the medication that the doctors prescribed, from what I heard the antibiotics really don't help. I have read about the yogurt remedy. Some people say not to give dairy products to baby younger then 3 months but I wonder if that is relevent when it comes to rubbing plain yogurt on the inside of my daughters mouth. I've also heard that the Gentian Violet works but I just read that it contains mercury therefore I will not use it. I also put half of a Acidophilus capsule (only the powder) in her bottles. I also make a paste and put a little on the inside of her mouth. Are there any other suggestions?
