acute gastritis
Hi, I am a female (37 yrs) and am a doctoral student (therefore a lot of stress:) I have been diagnosed with acute gastritis with h pylori infection and polyps in gallbladder. (blood and urine test results are normal) Initially I had zantac for a few months and after with h pylori antibiotics for a week. At present I am on omeprazole. My homeopath first gave me geranium Q which really relieved by stomach pain. After a gap for a week (due to my travel to India) he switched to robinia Q and nat phos 6x. But after starting nat phos, my mouth sores got worsened and we stopped it. He later advised me to take ars album 30 and after that phos. 30 each for 3 days which also did not work. At present I have burning sensation from my umblical cord and from chest to throat. Acidity (or alkali?) gets worse around night 3 am and my mouth (tongue and palate) gets burnt to whiteness and lips get cracked. Daytime it is better. I don't take any spicy food or coffee. Please advise. I am presently taking cena and acid sulphur since day before yesterday. But no use. pl. help.latadevi on 2005-01-06

The best one can offer on the signs you give are Carbo Veg, Puls and Merc [ worse at night] If there are stomach rumbles then Podophyllum would be useful. Nat sul has acrid eructations.
Personally when I get that sort of problem I normally use Carbo veg or Syzgyium 1x.

Thanks. I changed my homeopath ( as I cannot change my stomach). Now I am taking acid nit. 30 and cena 200 prescribed three times a day for a week (as I am diagnosed with amoebiosis too). I have found slight improvement. Let us see.

Your present doctor is also no good.Never take two homeo medicines together.That too for weeks together.!!

Thanks Sir. People say he is one of the best in Madras. I really don't know what to do. I found, however, some improvement on Friday, but again my sour taste returned yesterday. :(

Also, would all the homeo medicines that I have been taking cause any side-effect? I somehow feel my body has become a sack of drugs without any marked improvement whatsoever.

You must select a single medicine carefully to suit your symtoms,and allow it to work,uninturruptedly.
What I suggest,is refrain from all medicines for a week atleast,and let things stabilise.
Come back,after a week.

If Nothing works:
Take Nux Vomica Q and dilute it in 10 times of water. (this will give you Nux Vomica in about 4-5 potency)
Just two drops straight on the tongue, about 3 times a day.
I gurantee you this thing will work but most of the homeopaths won't agree with it philosophycally. I made a 10 gallons solution of this wonder drug and people just took it all for themself and their relatives. I found nobody who was not benefited.

Thanks Doctor. Acid nit 30 and cina 30 really seems to work. Now I am 60 per cent better. My doc. has asked me to continue the medication for a month. There is perceptible drop of acidity and now I rarely get stomach pain. So it seems that only amoebiosis has caused me all these problems. My doc. says i should be alright in a month's time. After that I can take medicines for gallbladder polyps. Great!
