Dr. Sameer - Food Mold Allergies in 3 year old
Hello Dr. Sameer,I am trying to figure out what remedy would be good for my 3 year old grandson. He had eczema as baby at 6 months old and it was successfully treated with Sulfphur wet dose after about 6 months.
Now he is showing signs of allergies to cheese and vinegar (pickles) so we figure mold allergies. So far his symptoms are eyes itch, water and he says they hurt and he rubs them.
If let go and he rubs them they become very puffy, very red and discharge. We have to give him medications like Benedryl to relieve him.
We are also doing allergy testing on him next Monday to make sure what he is reacting to. We gave him a dose of sulfur yesterday and it didn't work. I tried the Remedy Finder and that's what came up. Now I'm at a loss. Can you please help?
Thanks, Denise

Please describe his temperament, behavior, fears, food cravings and aversions in detail.
Food Cravings - Cheese, pizza, mac & cheese, grapes, yogurt, cheese crackers.
Likes to stay home a lot more then I would expect a child his age. When we say we are all going somewhere, sometimes he says, not me!
Likes to be outside but his second love is watching his children's shows on TV because his mother has two other little ones and he can't go outside too much. When I'm there, I take him outside to play ball as much as possible.
He is afraid of mainly cars getting him or someone. Told his Mom to walk from now on and not jog anymore so the cars would not get her. He wouldn't get the ball today because it went to close to the mower which was several houses away and could not see it but could hear it.
Afraid of the dark, has to sleep with a night light on. Though when we went into the garage today he was moving forward but commented it was dark as I was turning the light on.
Opinionated - Will make sure you know if he doesn't like something. Today his Mom put new covers on the chairs and as soon as he saw them he said, I not like mommy! I didn't like them either! LOL!
Stubborn - Does not want to give in, wants his way. Very hard to talk him into doing something he doesn't want to do. Skinned his knee today and had to wait till daddy came home to get medicine on it, hopefully! Sometimes when he doesn't get his way, he will scream and cry and this could go on for 20 minutes or so. But then sometimes he just sulks and walks away if he doesn't get his way. If it's a food he feels was not prepared to his liking he will not eat.
Arguementive - Will debate things that he thinks he knows better! Like what color something is.
Selfish - Doesn't like to share his things whether it be his toys, food, clothes, plate, fork, spoon, drink, etc. He will go and get yours or tell you where you can find it.
Bossy, tries to tell you how to do things. He tried to tell me today what blender of the two my daughter has to make his blueberry smoothie in. He said one was for Mommy's drink and he didn't want his made in that one.
Messy - Each morning he gets up and pulls all his toys and books out on the floor and all over the house. Each afternoon his Mom makes him pick them all up and this has been going on since he could walk.
Caring - If I say I'm tired and need to rest he will get me a pillow and blanket though not his. If you need something he will usually get it for you, like a napkin, book, etc.
Helper - He does enjoy helping like folding laundry and bringing in the groceries. I asked him about 2 months ago what his favorite thing to do was and he said helping daddy.
Please let me know if there is anything else.
Thank you very much!
Denise

Forgot to add.........
For lack of a word, he is NOT hyper. Not sure what the word would be.
I want to say calm which he can present even when having one of his moments of bossy, agruementive, etc........
Thanks,
Denise

Hi,
Please give him 3 doses of Calcarea Carb 30c equally spaced by 30 minutes for ONE single day only, to be taken as described below.
Dissolve 2 pellets of Calc 30c in a 250 ml spring water bottle. If you leave the pellets in water for 30 mins, they will melt. You can turn the bottle upside down a few times for the pellets to spread after dissolving.
1 teaspoon from here using a disposable spoon is 1 dose.
Let me know in 10 days after the 3 doses. I look forward to your response.
Restrictions:
1/. Nothing should enter the mouth for 40 minutes prior to, or after taking the remedy.
2/. Do not touch the tablets with your hands, tip them into the cap of the container they came in and then into the water .
3/. Avoid coffee, tea (including green), and other sources of caffeine such as some fizzy drinks and large amounts of chocolate, except where this would cause a drastic change in consumption
4/. Avoid wearing perfume/aftershave, or exposure to anything with a strong smell while under treatment. This includes any and all essential oils, and incense.
5/. Avoid the consumption of excessively spicey foods
6/. The use of medicinal herbs, either as 'teas' or supplements should be AVOIDED during Homoeopathic treatment, as should the use of over the counter medication, unless this has been recommended by an MD.
7/. Nothing of a medicinal nature should be applied to the skin

Hello Sameer,
Thank you very much for your protocol.
I wanted to update you that as of yesterday we found 2 pills of 30X Apis Mellifica releives his eye itching when he has a flare up over giving him benedryl. The benedryl makes him so tired.
Is this Apis okay to give with your protocol if he has a flare up? It's hard to let him suffer as he rubs the eyes and then they will get swollen, red and have a discharge.
Thanks,
Denise

No other homeopathic remedy is to be given along with this prescription.
We never give homeopathic remedies for just one symptom, and never ever do we give 2 remedies together.

Thank you for clarifying that.
I kinda thought that was the answer but wanted to make sure.
Will find or order the remedy on Monday and report back as you requested.
Thanks again!

Hello Dr. Sameer,
It's been 10 days since the Calcarea Carb 30c was given. He responded very well and immediately. Very little eye pain for a few days. Not bad enough to give him anything which is good because we know you wanted nothing else given. Now eyes do not bother him. Just a clear runny nose that is tolerable but would like to try and relieve this too.
Thanks,
Denise
