Hi,
It is six days since I gave Kali carb 200.
On day 3 he woke up extremely happy. And has been like that afterwards. Nothing else to report at the moment.
Oh, I also noticed he is having quite big wart in his finger. 2 mm large and 2 mm high in the right hand's middle finger. The boy said it has been there for a month or so already, but never this big. I put acid on it once.
What this wart tells you?

Do not put acid on it, as it will suppress the cure we are trying to achieve.
The wart is a very good sign.
Please keep waiting.

Hi Sameer,
It is 8 weeks since I gave Kali Carb 200c.
The boy has been happy all summer. The wart dissppeared very soon after my last posting.
The sun and sea water did good to his skin (but not as good as to me as my elder son. With us the the change was remarkable). The legs stayed dry, but not itchy at all.
But last week the skin started itching again. The legs are all over rough. Behind the knees there is eczema.
There is no eczema on wrists though.
Do I go on with kali carb 1 M?

Hi Sameer,
There is a wart in his finger again. In the same finger and the same kind of wart as I told you in June. I have not put acid on it - what should I do now?
Otherwise the boy is fine. Happy and fine. The legs are dry, like fine sandpaper, but there is no eczema.
I have found new things in my son: he has only one friend at school and no friends after school. I asked him does this bother him or make him sad, but he said no, no at all. He likes to build the legos alone and besides, he said , he has me and the father around.
I find this funny. Because he is so happy when having a friend around. But as he is a little engineer, I guess he is ultimately a lonely rider.
He just turned 7 years old. Likes to be at school. But is soooo slow. When everybody else is acting and moving, he is still thinking. I think he is a slow developer.

Hi,
So, I think the boy has swine flu.
He came home from school this afternoon at 3 pm. He said he has headache. He said when he was counghing at school he had 'pain in breathing'.
At the time he had temperature of 37.5.
One hour later there was fever of 38.3, sore legs, feeling really sick. He was coughing once in a while, like the itching cough, but said there is no pain. He went to sleep.
Defenately this is not common flu. To my knowledge there is no A-virus around yet.
Right after he came home I gave him Aconitum 200 c one pill one time.
One hour later he went sleeping and the feet were cold and the fever was going up, I gave him Paracetamol.
So... Please advise. It is the sepsis and pneumonia I am afraid of.

Hi Maria,
I do not prescribe homeopathic medicines on a prophylactic basis, the symptoms will decide which remedy he needs.
If you can describe the symptoms in detail (only thing which changed since this cute started), I can suggest something.

Hi,
We saw a doctor yesterday and yes, it is swine flu. He is given Tamiflu now.
The boy is good, I think. Eats and smiles. The symptoms are
- high fever at night, low during the days
- cough during the day, getting loose
- headache
- the legs are aching.
He is fine and does not need any remedies for these symtoms. I rather think which remedy he needs if the cough travels down. He does not need it now, but I want to have the remedy in hand in case he needs it.

Hi Sameer,
The boy had fever and the worst symptoms only for the first 3 days. He fell sick 9 days ago, but is still not totally fine. I think he needs a remedy for recovery.
His present symptoms are:
- pale
- has a headache and ache on the legs daily. Does not ask for the painkiller
- gets nausea after eating.
- tired, sleeps 12 hours a night (normally 10 h)
Other symptoms are still quite the same as in the beginning:
- craves sweets
- dislikes many things. For ex. he loves boiled eggs and would eat several of them. But does not want to touch a fried egg.
- Careful with details
- Sleeps well, but sees nightmares once or twice a week.
- difficulties making up his mind. If I ask if you want a strawberry or raspberry, he says 'hmm..hmm...hmm.. a strawberry...hmm. no, a raspberry!'
- If I ask his opinion, he often says 'I don't know'
- He is only 7 yrs of ag, but he keeps smiling even if he is unhappy. I found out he has no friends at school. The boy said smiling several times, that it does not bother him - ultimately I found out that it makes him unhappy.
- His temperature is nowadays very warm.
- Slow in his action
- I think he is more childish than other children of his age. He is sensitive. Prefers playing with kids that are younger than he is.
- Wants to stay at home
- Easy-going
- If somebody teases, he goes away crying and does not tell anybody.

Hi... you should be back today, so I am lifting this up.
The boy still needs help. He is not that tired anymore, but the rest of the symptoms (I told you earlier this week) are still there.

Hi,
I gave Calc Carb 200 c once (didn't have 30c). The situation is not any better.
I took the boy to see a pediatre once again. The boy says himself, that stool is very black, so there is a possibility that he is bleeding inside.
The doctor said this a kind of gastritis that happens after a tough infection: the stomach and the mucous gets 'wounded' because of an very strong infection.
Anyway the blood tests were fine.
Allopathy cannot do much, the boy was given the same kind of remedy, that is given to peptic ulcer. This remedy makes a cover inside so that the healing can take place.
The symptoms are:
- he has nausea and stomach ache that comes and goes.
- it is as it's worse in the morning and at noon. Quite often in the evening he has no symptoms at all and he is very energetic
- when having nausea he just lies down and is very passive. He never vomits. Sometimes when stomach ache he holds his stomach and bends over
- The the stomach ache is like a needle in an upper stomach.
- The stool is black, so maybe he is bleeding a bit
- he sleeps well and eats better towards evening. He rather eats just bread.
By the way, there is one behavioral thing in him that has been new after giving Calc Carb 200c: he has been violent for the first time in his life. F.ex. the boy was playing a game and lost -and got furious. Started hitting and kicking and was crying for half an hour. He has never been like that before.

Hi Maria,
I had asked 30c, because you have given 200c many times in the past, and hence the aggravation. The body does not take a potency which has been used many times in the past that well.
In future, please use the potency, which has been prescribed. Or at-least ask me before you decide to use a different potency.
I need more symptoms to prescribe anything right now. And, I am inclined to wait for a week or so, so that this aggravation wears off.
Please notice more symptoms and patterns, (mental and physical), and report back after 1 week with a more extensive list.

Hi,
I thought the potency is not that important, because the boy was given Calc Carb 200 c three consicutive nights for a year, when he was 2-3 years old. (I don't remember any aggravation from that time). So it is not a new remedy, not at all.
Normally I do obey you, Sameer, but my logic told me different this time.
The boy IS better than a week ago before given Calc Carb. A week ago he had nausea all day long. Now he has nausea only when waking up and when he has eaten something spicy or sour.
Mentally he has ups and downs. Gets furious or anry, or is the most happiest person on earth.

Logic is very, very, very important to me. I do keep wondering your logic time to to time, but I do as you tell me. But in this case I don't get this - in homeopathy the potency increases every time. You cannot use the same potency, so how can you dimish it...?

Hi Sameer,
The swine flu and the symptoms of ulcer are gone. These are not the problems anymore. But I am looking for a constitutionl remedy for him.
Growing pains: The boy woke last night crying for the growing pains. The only thing that helps is the warm bath. So he took a bath at 3 am.
I have given him magnesium regularly, it should help, but apparently does not.
Nightmares: He has also had nightmares several times during the autumn. Never before in his life.
Lonelyness: He has started talking about friends. In September I told you that he does not miss friends, but now he does miss them. He has only two friends and is sorry for that.
Pessimism and dissappontment protection: During the fall I have paid attention that he is a pessimist - in that way he can control the dissappointment. F.ex. He wanted to have as a christmas present a certain box of legos. He was talking every day that he won't get it. And when it looks that he is loosing in a game, he quits in the middle of the game and gives up and keeps talking he is going to loose.
Criticism: At school we had an evaluation and the teacher was very suprised of boy's criticism towards himself. The boy himself evaluated he is not that good friend and he does not remember to do the homework - according the teacher he is great in these areas.
In general he is fine. As happy as normally. The skin is much better than last winter - thank to you, Sameer. The legs are dry (dryer than normal skin), but not itchy sand-dry. And by the way, the wart dropped off by it's own. You knew that - I must admit I did not quite believe you at a time:-)-
Merry Christmas!
