1 year old with blocked nose
My one year old started with a cold about a week ago and she is still having a congested nose. It's particularly worse in the morning and in the evenings. It alternates between clear discharge in the morning to snuffly congestion with thick white mucus especially in the evenings. I put her on chamomilia and nux vomica and it seemed to dry up the mucus somewhat but her congestion is still there. Went to the homeopathic store and they recommended pulsatilla 6c but her nose started with clear discharge about 10 minutes after the pulsatilla. Her appetite is good. She seems to be teething although it appears to be for about 3 weeks. I gave her calc phos once a week to help with the teething. What can I do to help with nasal congestion. She seems to be more congested in left nose than right. She sometimes scratches her left her which is slightly red but it was clean when we cleaned it. she was also pulling her hair and hitting her head for a while last night.isabellesmom on 2005-02-08

Try a dose of Calc Carb and see. Too many remedies together, one will not know which one is helpful.

Hi Sabra,
she is tall and lean, I read calc carb is rounder. And she sweats heaps on the head only. Not the forehead, just the back of the head. That is probably the first area to sweat.

Emotional distress about the head, shoulders, and arms is with Calc Carb. Does this sound close?
