pilonidal Cyst

Mr. Pankaj Varma, a senior member at this forum, has suggested a protocol for treatment of pilonidal cyst.
The protocol is as follows

1. A dose of Myristica 200

2. After 48 hours (myristica should burst the cyst or you have to repeat myristica 200, you should proceed further only when the cyst is burst) take Silicea 6c three times a day for a week.

3. After a week take Silicea 200 two times a day.

4. Externally apply Calendula.

This protocol has worked successfully in many cases.

If you have access to ayurvedic medicines, you may also try 1 tsf Haridra Khanda twice a day.

Dear Ram 1980, I hope respectable Pankaj Varma will see your post soon and respond. However, he is the expert and kindly considering.

In my opinion, at this stage, you may go ahead with the Silicea 200C dose?

Pl. again take a dose of Myristica 200 2moro morning. There is still pus under the surface..it has to be expelled.
don't take Silicea in high potency at this stage...as it will close the opening pre-maturely.

Dear Punkaj Varma, You are right, there is still a small amount of pus that must be taken out by Myristica before trying to dry it out.

Silicea 6c ...is okay...being a low potency. Problem with high potency Silicea is that it closes the discharge point again...so not to be taken at this stage. Myrsitica is helping the pus to discharge out on the skin level.

I ask every one having this problem to read my old posts so that they can get a complete picture of the problem and how and why surgery is not a permanent solution. About this many people are reporting here.
Also, by reading those posts you get to know how many people have benefited from my homeopathic advice in respect of this problem. That helps to increase the person's confidence.

Important thing to know is that the pus comes on to the surface of the skin from 3 or 4 maybe 5 different channels created by the body to expel the pus.

The homeopathic treatment is in three stages:

1. To expel all the pus (this needs patience)with homeopathic meds

2. To heal the wound

3. To ensure that further pus formation by the body is stopped.

Medicines you have to order are:

1. Myristica 200c

2. Silicea 6c ..if that is not available then Silicea 30c

3. Silicea 200c

4. Calcarea Sulph. 3X

5. Belladona 200c

6. Calendula cream

(Myristica works as a homeopathic 'doctor's knife' to yank out the pus.) So pus will flow...allow it, wipe it clean and apply Calendula cream externally on the area.

Brushing teeth, eating , drinking anything only after 45 minutes of taking the dose.

No coffee, no tea, no colas, don't use perfume, don't smell camphor, no garlic etc.

Watch progress with that dose for next 72 hours and after that post feed back here.

What potency of Myristica did you take ??

Also give me dates of first dose and second dose.

I had asked you to take one dose only. By repeating early..it slows down the process.
Now that 8 days have passed...take 3 doses of Myristica 200c...in gaps of 15 minutes each...2moro morning.

Say 6 am
6.15 am
6.30 am or as convenient...when you wake up ...on empty stomach.

I am looking for some help with my daughter's pinoidal cyst. It is a cm long and has burst open and draining everyday with some pus. Its under her tailbone. Pus color is slight white. She is not in pain but if the cyst is touched for cleaning the wound, she feels some Pain. She will finish antibiotics course tomorrow, July 11.

There is no bleeding but sometimes clear oozing has red streaks. And sometimes slight whitish pus.
