Flat Warts

I have tons of flat warts on my face and neck. For weeks I thought they were acne or dry skin and finally went to a dermatologist when my skin began feeling really rough. She told me they were flat warts but was otherwise was useless, gave me a gel that she said might take up to a year to work. A year!

I have to get these off soon. I'm really scared they'll spread to other parts of my body or to family members. I can't kiss anyone or hug for fear of infecting them. On top of it I'm a person who's work means that I have to do press events and do public appearances. I can't have these unsightly things on my face. Or anywhere else of my body. Can anyone help me? What remedies are there in homeopathy for flat warts?

I also think my 11 year old son might have some flat warts on his face although they're very faint still and I might be wrong. I'm taking him to see a doctor this week about them. What can I do about him if they are warts?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I've been reading a few of the other threads and see that the doctors are asking people to give details about themselves before they can prescribe anything.

I'm 27 years old, take no mediations for anything and there is no chance I'm pregnant. Also, I am about thirty pounds overweight but lose weight quickly if I exercise which I do but no regularly at the moment.

I sleep about seven hours a night and in the past couple of years and grown more erratic in my sleeping patterns, going to bed later and later and getting up later too. I feel tired a lot.

I'm a writer and write books for a living. I love to read fiction and historical books. I do yoga and swimming, as well as take walks, on the treadmill and outside. I like dancing occasionally if I'm in mood.

I have had neck and upped back problems caused by long periods on the computer and went to a chiropractor three years ago about it. Since then I go to the chiropractor every six months or so for an adjustment.

I love acting and drama and being social, I have many good friends and am a good conversationalist. I'm a spiritual person and have deep faith in god.

I love watching films that make me think, and music that is attached to a story. I love listening to film soundtracks.

My family health history is ok. We have no history of cancer but we do have a history of diabetes on both my mother and father's side. We are of Indian origin. Most people in my family die of heart attacks. So diabetes and diseases are two things I worry about and take measures to prevent.

There is no history of warts in my family. I can't remember ever seeing one on any of my family until we moved to the USA and a niece caught one on her finger, probably from her school friends. I then got one of my thumb and then others on my fingers. I used Salycylic acid to get rid of them but it took a year. My niece had the doctor burn hers off.

I didn't have any other problems with warts until now, when I found out that these bumps on my face are flat warts. What do I do to get rid of them?

So I have to take all of them? Do I take them in water or some other drink or just take them alone? Do I take them all at the same time or should I spread them out?
