Hi Dr.,
Unfortunately I didn't have access to computer while home and didn't see your message about the calendula. They don't sell it as pellets at store near me so will have to order some for him. Also what is 'Q'? I can order some but not sure what it is. What I have for calendula is a small bottle of olive oil with calendula in it for applying to skin. His left arm is really black and blue. It is the side affected by the stroke, he doesn't move it, it can move but he keeps it down by his side, says he is keeping his shoulders from riding up. I got him to take his next dose of nux vomica 1M but he is still very angry he is in that place (nursing home) thinks his family isn't helping him, mainly my Mom because she won't take him home and put him in that place, etc. I had a talk with him because he was calling my Mom and the staff ignorant and stupid and was screaming loudly about not wanting the 2 lbs. dumbbells they said they would let him have (he wants 40 lbs). I was calm but asked why he felt he needed to scream at me. He finally settled down and we talked a bit and I just heard the fear of dying in that place, the fear of thinking he has no control, my Mom has the control of him, he says and he says he is going to lose hope in that place. So I just tried to reassure him he can and will get better, he does have control over his actions and also for him to direct his angry/upset feelings about the dumbbells to the doctor who wrote the prescription not at his family. I said try to work with the system a bit, show them you can use to 2 lb and then ask for the next size, and on and on. So he agreed to take the next doses of the pellets when it is time to take them and I told him to let me know of things that are going on so I can report back to you and see if we can help. He says he doesn't sleep well, just feels overall uncomfortable. Also he doesn't lay his neck back on the bed, says he can't. He says his arms and shoulders hurt. His muscles, tendons are just sticking out on his neck, looks very tight and uncomfortable. He has had for many, many years pain in one shoulder and he says it feels as if it is riding up and he trys to pull it down. He complained about the physical therapy in the beginning when he was first there because they wanted him to stand on walker and he said it bothered his shoulder and neck and they weren't able to help with that so he got frustrated and refused to do therapy at all. He gets no movement now. I think for awhile they had him walk down the hall once a week but not sure if he does that now.
So his main complaint is shoulders and arms ache/hurt, don't sleep well, and fear of dying in that nursing home and not able to go home.
Mom - bodyaches definitely less since doing the rhus twice a day! Had a rough week in the South. Sneezing alot, eyes itching(more left than right), face swollen (sinus areas, mostly on nose, around nose and cheek, more left side). I had some different remedies with me and took some out of desperation, took Nat. Mur 6c, it helped temporarily. Now I am back home and feel better but still have some itching in left eye, blowing nose constantly yesterday, face a little tender and swollen. Also I noticed that my head was a little swollen at top back of head and the area that was cut by fan when I was a child had a scabby area near it. I mention this because it reminded me how when I was young and had that scar with stitches and it was healing I would scratch it at school everyday.
Son - had a major wheezing spell the day after we got to my Mom's house. He started wheezing in evening after being outside playing for quite sometime. We gave him pulsatilla, it went through the night, he was clawing the backs of his legs like I had never seen all night, had 3 or 4 poops, next morning wheezing some, gave another dose of pulsatilla, and later in day was just coughing some and got better. Then he did fine next days and is doing well now. I did notice he has a swollen Right forearm. Just happened to see it looked swollen and touched it and he said ouch. Not sure if he fell on it or we played tennis right before our trip and he loved it and was hitting alot of balls.
Okay, that is our update. Not sure if there is something I can take to help out with all this sneezing, itching stuff. They ran out of pulsatilla 30c so I have been using 6c and doesn't seem to be helping much.

Just wanted to let you know I feel much better. I juiced yesterday and today, ate light and had a couple of bowel movements and feel much better. So my crisis is over.

Hi Dr.,
My son is having another wheezing spell. Started last night at bedtime and he is still wheezing this morning. Gave a dose of pulsatilla 200 last night and now this morning. He is averaging one spell a week lasting about day and a half. Able to cope better with them than in the past but leaves him unable to do much for about 24 hours. I doubt if he will be up to going to school. He was able to sleep most of the night. It started around 8pm and he was up around 11pm crying and coming into our bed. Gave him the pulsatilla and he wanted to go onto the couch but I propped him up a little on the bed. It took him about 30 min. to finally go to sleep and just woke up at 7am. He is due is next dose of Tub. and Calc carb at beginning of month.

For your dad, give him nux vomica alone nothing more.
we will see how he is responding more with the medicines and then we will decide about adding more medicines.

Hi Dr.,
Had to order the Sulphur 1m for my son, should have soon.
I am experiencing constant irritation of eyes/nose, throat. Today it is sneezing non-stop, itching in nose mainly, clear mucous that I am constantly blowing out. I just feel drained after a bout of sneezing and blowing. End up having to get indoors, out of heat to get through it. It is happening almost daily, off an on. Anything that can help deal with all this? I just took my next dose of Causticum 1M, it has been 15 days since last dose, also still doing the daily rhus. Overall the bodyaches are much less since taking the rhus. I do feel like more is loosening up in belly area, most restriction felt on Right side in Liver area and under ribcage but things seem to be moving in right direction.
Just having a time with the other stuff. Still having constipation but I do feel as if things opened up and feel more aware to area above scar and feel as if more energy in that area and that the bowels are starting to move out more easily but feel as if things stuck in that whole right area to belly button and up and down on the right side, running from public bone to ribcage.
So I should hold off on my son's remedies that he would normally take at beginning of month until I receive and give the Sulphur 1M?

Hi glad things are going fine with you, about the eye and sneezing issues please take Euphrasia 30. twice daily, you should be alirght, then i think now you can stop rhus tox and take it only if needed.
About sulphur as far as i know it is just sulphur 1M if still you have difficulty in finding get back to me with the options, but it is plain sulphur.

Hi Dr.,
Just spoke to my Mom and she just found out she has a heart murmur. She has been sick all week, blood in urine (Dr. tested twice in last week and has prescribed 5 days of antibotics). Mainly now her symptoms are headache and feeling exhausted. I am having my sister print out the questionaire and hope she will fill it out. Wondering if you are up to reviewing her case?
I saw her health start to go downhill so to speak after the death of my brother, that is when the hip got worse and later she had the hip replacement. She has always had that sinus drainage in the back of her throat. She had a hysterectomy and has not muscle tone in the belly area of the scar running vertical up her belly, very loose and no muscle tone in glutes, weight mainly in stomach.

My son has had 2 wheezing spells this week. One on Mon., and had to pick him up early from school. After he came home and had a large green bowel movement he was over it. But then that night he woke up coughing, next night had some coughing and wheezing but got him back to sleep. Yesterday he started wheezing after we had an early dinner. Gave him a dose of pulsatilla and he eventually was able to sleep. He is coughing alot this morning and waiting the next 30 min. to see if it will pass so we can take him to school. I just gave him another dose of pulsatilla. Haivng to give 2 or 3 a week, in fact I am almost out of them and need to order some more.
I wrote asking if I need to hold off on the Tub. and Calc carb until I give him the dose of Sulphur 1M. That is how your e-mail came across but I wanted to double check if I understood correctly. The sulphur 1m may be here tomorrow or Mon.

Hey sorry i am travelling so disturbance with the internet access, well i am happy to take up your mothers case, also for your son, give sulphur first and then only the other medicines, that too just calc carb is enough need not give tuberculinum.

No problem I understand. Just wondering what I can do for my son today. He has been coughing for over 3 hours now, he is having chills and says his throat hurts, says it is scratchy feeling. He looks exhausted at the moment and is still wheezing.
We went out to eat yesterday and he doesn't normally feel well most times after we eat out. He had some fries and one fried chicken tender. I understand you are traveling so not sure when you will see it. But wanted to tell you my son finally took a short nap but woke up and said he felt worse, now complaining of his tummy. I think he needs to have a bowel movement. Also still coughing and since he complained of his throat earlier I gave him a dose of hepar sulph. His body is now feeling pretty hot and he is crying off and on.
Would nux vomica help in case of this being an issue with the food? Just wondering...trying to learn through this process. In the meantime we are making him a lemon drink with some aloe vera juice to hopefully move things through his system.
Any advice whenever you see this much appreciated.

Give him a few doses of bryonia 30 three times a day and then give him lot of water to drink, see if he passes motion, give him a dose of nux vomica 30 only one dose right from the start and then continue with bryonia and let me know tomorrow.

Prior to your reply Bryonia popped into my head and I gave him a dose. He felt better for a bit but tired out easily and still no poop. Then saw your post and gave another dose or two. Yesterday he seemed better, just had a couple of fever blisters on lip and below bottom lip was very chapped so he went to school. I picked him up and he said his tummy hurt and he threw up a little bit of mucous. So I gave him the dose of nux vomica and shortly after he pooped and seemed to feel better. This morning he was very tired so didn't go to school. He is feeling better but has only had 1 poop in the last 4 almost 5 days.
The Sulphur did not arrive yesterday so thinking it may come today.
Mom - The last few days I wake up and have to blow my nose for about 15 - 30 min., just clear stuff coming out but alot of it. Also nose very itchy and I have sneezing spells. I feel much better than before and eyes not itching and bothering me much but my nose. Also the top of my head, mainly right side where I had the cut and stitches as a child feels swollen and tender, especially right around the old scar. The right side of nose is tender to the touch on the ridge and side. Is it okay to take the Euphrasia 30 more than twice a day, when these symptoms get worse?

Hi ya it is fine even if you get sulphur 200 it is fine, but anyways we will wait for 1M, well for you it is better to take euphorsia a few more doses to ease the problem out.

Well I will try the Euphorsia 3 times today. Things are really getting irritiated now, my nose, roof of mouth, right ear. I step out the door and I sneeze 5 or 6 times. I am breathing through my mouth at night since one side of nose stops up. When I try to breath through nose it kinds of burns. I was up at 3 am last night, blowing my nose and finally took a dose of arnica since my nose hurt so much and fell back asleep in an hour or so. I have been in this overreactive state since I went back down South 3 weeks ago. It is not getting better or so it seems.
I will let you know when the sulphur comes in.

Should I continue with the bryonia? Not wheezing but coughing and still tired. Yesterday he took a 3 hour nap which he normally doesn't do.

continue bryonia for him, and give him warm water and let me know how is the cough by evening.
Also for you take a few doses of ars alb30/200 which ever you have. just two doses and then go to bed, you will be fine tomorrow.

My son finally had a very large bowel movement this afternoon. Last night and today he is complaining his left ear, left eye (misaligned one) and neck hurts. But I am thinking he will feel better soon. The Sulphur 1M arrived today. Should I give tomorrow and Calc carb next day?
Mom - I am feeling somewhat better. Took the 2 doses of ars ar yesterday. Today I have had a couple of bowel movements, light in color, one somewhat like diarrhea. However my head is really, really aching, mostly of Left side, around ear, neck, base of skull on on scalp mainly. I also feel static like, things and people I touch I am getting a jolt, my hair is very static. Right now I just want to lay down and be very still because of the pain on left side of my head and my eyes feel very tired.
Oh yeah wanted to let you know about a week ago a pimple came up on Right side of my belly, it was very painful to the touch. It had like white pus in it but the white is gone now but the red mark from the bump is still there, kind of sore around that area. My son finally had a very large bowel movement this afternoon. Last night and today he is complaining his left ear, left eye (misaligned one) and neck hurts. But I am thinking he will feel better soon. The Sulphur 1M arrived today. Should I give tomorrow and Calc carb next day?
Mom - I am feeling somewhat better. Took the 2 doses of ars ar yesterday. Today I have had a couple of bowel movements, light in color, one somewhat like diarrhea. However my head is really, really aching, mostly of Left side, around ear, neck, base of skull on on scalp mainly. I also feel static like, things and people I touch I am getting a jolt, my hair is very static. Right now I just want to lay down and be very still because of the pain on left side of my head and my eyes feel very tired.
Oh yeah wanted to let you know about a week ago a pimple came up on Right side of my belly, it was very painful to the touch. It had like white pus in it but the white is gone now but the red mark from the bump is still there, kind of sore around that area. This has been a rough few weeks, I hope things break soon and I feel better:-)

I just wrote an e-mail and after I sent send saw and internet explorer problem. Did you get the e-mail? It was about my symptoms and the fact my son finally had a large bowel movement and the Sulphur 1m arrived today? Let me know if you didn't get it and I will write again about my symtoms.

Hi Dr.,
Okay, I see you got the post i wrote. Just wanted to add I am having chills and the pain with my head seems to be generating from my jaw on left side, seems locked up/stuck. When I open and close my mouth alot of tension right in front of ear. Pain is intense. Please advise of anything that will help.

Hi Dr.,
Today - frontal head pain - feels like what I would describe as a sinus infection. Mostly clear coming out of my nose but this morning coughed up a little yellow stuff. Feel exhausted, heat bothers my face, eyes tired, glands seem slightly swollen.
This is what I wrote yesterday:

Got desperate and looked up homeopathy for sinus infection and took 2 doses of hepar sulph and a dose of pulsatilla 30c yesterday. This morning my neck glands are very swollen, my throat hurts when I swollen and the Right side of my head and neck now hurts. I am coughing up some yellow mucous now. Also my period started. Come to think of it I get alot of not feeling well around the same time my period starts...not sure if it means anything or not.
The sneezing has stopped but still having the frontal head pain and like I said now Right side neck and throat.
Please advise!
