Hypothroid and weight gain

Am on Armour thyroid for a throid problem developed after an adrenal gland issue. My throid is supposedly under control but I am not sure, also weight is coming off very slowly. Any remedy suggestions for adrenal and thyroid?

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experiences and happenings.

1. Describe your main suffering?
cold feet, dry hair and skin, 15 lb weight gain in a couple months.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?
change in period

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?
amxious feeling, depression, very tired

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
not sure, have adrenal failure, which was diagnosed in January, on cortisol, DHEA since Jan.,

6. Which time of the day you are worst?
mid afternoon

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?


9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
in humid, my feet and hands swell, better in cold

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?
14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?
16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs?

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?
fine now that I am taking a piobiotic twice a day
18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?
20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all?

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?
none before January. Armour thyroid started in April after peak in blood test. Just having a hard time losing the weight I gained, have cravings in the middle of the day.

22. What major diseases are running in your family?
heart disease and diabetes, although my colesteral, blood pressure and sugars are normal

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance
thicker in the middle, due to genetics. even when I was skinny, middle was not super slim

If you are not having normal menstrual cycles, please answer the following questions:

- Are the periods early, regular or late in general? How long do they last? usually every 3-4 weeks, flow is heavy for 2 days, stops then starts again for a day or two
- Do you suffer from any kind of physical or mental discomfort before, during or after the periods?
every other month have bad cramps, very tired for 2-3 days before period
- Is the flow scanty, normal or excessive?
excessive for two days
- Is the blood thick bright red or pale watery?
thick bright
- Do you notice any clots in the flow?
yes when heavy

Please take three doses of Graphites 200c at a gap of 4 hours for one day. Please don't take daily but only on one day.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.

If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please report after 15 days.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

I will have to order the 200c, my local store only carries the Borion up to 30c. Can you explain what the graphites will do? The website does not go into detail other than talking about ezemas issues. Thank you

Graphites has been selected on the basis of following symptoms
1. Dry Skin
2. Tendency to gain weight
3. Aversion to damp weather
4. Swelling in extremities
5. Want of disposition to work (feeling of tiredness)
