The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Dr. Sameer....please help me find my constitutional remedy

I am suffering from a number of physical and mental ailments and my present life is quite miserable....this life is not worth living.

I am a 30 year old woman with a 5 months old. I am breastfeeding him so its very important for me that homeopathy medicine recommended to me is completely safe.

I have filled up a questionnaire I got on this forum. I am waiting to go back to my enthusiastic, confident, energetic and independent old self...help me

1. Describe your main suffering?

There is a lot to share:

1. The extreme state of indifference …My life is going through a crisis and I feel as if someone else is going through it…not me.
2. I think too much….my mind is always restless
3. I am overly sentimental(about myself) – If things do not go my way, I fight argue, shout, weep then settle down-- after a few minutes I deal with the issue practically.
4. I am ignorant about people around me (specially my family), I feel detached…I know their problems and help but don’t feel for them.
5. I cry too much for trivial matters…I do not like to be questioned and fire back automatically when asked to explain…I feel as if people are doubting my intellect( All my decisions are well thought and logical. I never do anything without a reason.)

6. I can not stand undue interference…advise. My thought process is very clear..
1. My clothes, food, hobbies etc are personal and no one should object to them as long as it doesn’t interfere with their life( I make sure…they do not)
2. Issues related to married life…only my husband and I have to resolve ( do not like in-laws intervention)
3. I solve my problems on my own…don’t like to ask even my parents for help. Whenever I do I demand (not seek), because I feel, what I am asking is reasonable.

4. I never advise unless asked for and my suggestions are valued very well.
5. I am fairly independent.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

1. Back ache
2. Body ache…
3. Pain in legs…
4. extreme tiredness
5. under eye dark circles
6. moles and warts on face and body
7. Acne(cystic)
8. very oily face
9. large open pores
10. acne scars
11. dull and uneven skin (no shine at all)
12. sagging skin

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

When I am mentally stressed…my physical sufferings go up.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

Life is not worth living

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
I was a happy child. Then my parents left me with my grand mother…I felt deserted….then studies, I was beaten because I didn’t come up to my father’s expectation. Soon all this became part of life…the older I grew the more the pressure to perform…the more restrictions. We weren’t allowed friends at home…we weren’t given any pocket money. I didn’t mind any of these other than the extreme pressure. I started crying and soon I would cry when alone or when someone made a slightest remark. I would start crying in classroom too…anywhere and everywhere when things didn’t go my way or I could not deliver on anyone’s expectations.

I could never understand the need for too much pressure. I was always an above average performer but my father was not willing to accept anything other than 100/100..something I could never achieve. It wasn’t if I was deprived of all pleasure but happiness was temporary. My father controlled everything in and around the house…he was very short tempered. He had good intentions that his kids should receive the best of education and should be topper in whatever they do but he wasn’t very realistic. Music was banned in the house, no hobbies allowed. I loved music, poetry, and reading but had to give up all this. We had to focus only on getting good marks in all subjects.

I am the eldest child in the family and my brother and sister both were exposed to the same environment. There wasn’t any differentiation on basis of gender or anything else. My sister and brother developed more patience whereas I became touchier.

I was in standard tenth when I took control of my life and told my father that I didn’t want him to teach me. Since then we have hardly been on talking terms. It’s an unspoken agreement that we do not get in to each other’s way. I still felt the unstated pressure to deliver on his expectations; both my brother and sister were toppers in studies. I would sit with books and day dream.

My life improved after I went to hostel after 12th standard. I started defining my life. My teachers appreciated me, encouraged me. My warden treated me like her own daughter. All this gave me confidence which was somewhere hidden inside me. I did what I wanted to…read almost all the books in my library….all subjects. Everything new interested me.

Since then I have taken my own decisions and lived on my own terms (no co-operation from either family mine or in-laws)

My Mother -in-law has made my life miserable and threatened to do so in future . For the past 1 years I have been living with my parents but now I have to go back and face the same life.

I have an additional responsibility of my young boy..he is my life and I would never let anything come in his way. I will fight the whole world if need be. I am looking for ammunition to help me win this battle of life...its crucial and I have to win.

Dr. Sameer, I know you must be very busy but please do take out some time and help me.

Let me know if you need any more information.

Thanking you in advance.

I know you are busy...try and take out sometime for me too.

Aadrita last decade
This is a very detailed case study. can i know your major conserns in 1-2-3 order. May be i can help or recomend.
wakeupsid last decade
Yes, I have provided the details because I feel its very critical to know about the physical as well as emotional sysmptoms of patients to be able to suggest the right homeopathy medicine.

I am not looking for a temporary remedy but something that will help me improve mentally as well as physically in long run.

My primary conerns are as below:

1. My being so indifferent, uncaring towards dear ones and life.

2. Body ache, weakness

3. Skin problems..they are a reflection of my mental sysmptoms too..the day I feel better I look better too.

I am looking for answer in homeopathy only.

I think I am a 'SEPIA' constitution based on all the information I have read over the internet but I am no expert and I do not want to experiment with drugs myself.

I feel just the way the homeopathic drugs work at a deeper level, any possible side effects of improper/unguided use of homeopathy could lead to problems deeper than physical symptoms can exhibit.

Sameer/Neil/experts please guide me on this journey to wholistic well being.
Aadrita last decade
Congratulations !! You've at least got the medicine right.

Now , I recomend you start with a single dose of Sepia 10M in the morning when you get up and leave the rest for the medicine to work its way up on your system.

It wont harm you at all. Believe Me.

Otherwise you can always go and consult a senior homeopath, and let him/her do what they want with you, homeopathically..

Dont self educate and medicate. thats dangerous.
wakeupsid last decade
Thanks wakeupsid,

I am little wary of taking this potency.According to whatever I have read on this forum SEPIA 10M seems too strong a potency to begin with.

I have also read that once you use a higher potency you can not go back to lower potency.

Also, I would like to reconfirm what would comprise a single dose?

How often do I have to take this dose? is it to be taken once or daily?

Wakeupsid, I really appreciate the time spent on reading my post and for your inputs too.

Hey, please don't mind but I am already in middle of messed up life, can not afford to aggravate the situation further by meddling with medicines.

It would be nice if you could reconfirm that the dose won't be too strong for me. Keep in mind that I am nursing my 5 month old boy and wouldn't want him to be affected adversly by any medication that I consume.

Sameer/Neil/Dr. Deoslok/ experts, you could atleast confirm me if a single dose of SEPIA 10M is the right potency and also if a single dose is safe to begin with.

Will respond in a day or 2.

Hi ,

Please take 3 doses of Sepia 30c equally spaced by 30 minutes for ONE single day only, to be taken as described below.

Dissolve 2 drops of SEPIA 30c in a 250 ml spring water bottle. You can turn the bottle upside down a few times for the drops to spread after dissolving.

1 teaspoon from here using a disposable spoon is 1 dose.

Let me know in 10 days after the 3 doses. I look forward to your response.

1/. Nothing should enter the mouth for 40 minutes prior to, or after taking the remedy.
2/. Do not touch the tablets with your hands, tip them into the cap of the container they came in and then into the water .
3/. Avoid coffee, tea (including green), and other sources of caffeine such as some fizzy drinks and large amounts of chocolate, except where this would cause a drastic change in consumption
4/. Avoid wearing perfume/aftershave, or exposure to anything with a strong smell while under treatment. This includes any and all essential oils, and incense.
5/. Avoid the consumption of excessively spicey foods
6/. The use of medicinal herbs, either as 'teas' or supplements should be AVOIDED during Homoeopathic treatment, as should the use of over the counter medication, unless this has been recommended by an MD.
7/. Nothing of a medicinal nature should be applied to the skin

Thank you so much for your precious time.

Right now, I am taking Thuja 200 C once a day on empty stomach(past 20 days) for my moles/warts problem as recommended by my homeopath. I felt as if I saw an improvement in my moles but all that seems a delusion now. None of my warts have fallen off so far..I feel they have grown bigger though.

I have attached an image..do u think thuja is the right remedy for moles/warts. Do I need a higher potency as I feel there is no improvement in the situation in last two weeks

Also, can I begin my SEPIA dose too while taking thuja?

Improving my mental state is more important to me than anything else right now.

I hope you will reply soon.

I am afraid to say your homeopath is not much of a homeopath.

Thuja is the deepest acting of all homeopathic medicines and has a high probability of leaving an imprint of the Thuja disease on you if repeated in a high potency like 200.

You have been following a dangerous prescription. Lets hope you come out unscathed.

Please do not take any medicine until further advise from Sameer.
Dubai2009 last decade

I am really worried now.

I reconfirmed 7- days back with another homeopath in my viscinity and he too was of the opinion that 200C taken once daily till you see results is okay.

I won't take any further dose till I get Sameer's opinion.

I am not experiencing anything serious other than a mild bearable headache and itching sometimes.

I too hope nothing bad comes out of taking thuja so frequently.

Sameer, I am waiting for your opinion on this.

Hello, Not a homeopathe here, but a mom whoe experienced post partum thyroiditis and your symptoms sound a olt ike mine when my thyroid is underactive. Have you by chance had it checked. It is a very common condition for women after childbirth. I am going through somewhat the same thing as you. I wish you wellness and peace.

Sorry for my typing errors. I have a wiggly child in my lap while typing :)
joyfulgirl104 last decade
Hey joyfulgirl104,

I can very well understand the typos..I make them too when I have my son in my lap.

I haven't got my thyroid checked post pregnancy..it was fine before...thanks for the idea..I will get it done soon.

I am continiously exhausted because of this.

Wish you all the best too.

Aadrita last decade
Stop all dosing immediately.

Wait for 15 days without any further doses.

Update on how you feel at that time.
sameervermani last decade

As suggested I will wait for 15 days...no thuja or any other homeo medicines.

Aadrita last decade
Hi Sameer,

I feel no changes at all other than my moles and warts look elivated..definitely.

Should I strat my SEPIA as advised before or you would like to alter the prescription?

'Please take 3 doses of Sepia 30c equally spaced by 30 minutes for ONE single day only, to be taken as described below.'
