Sudden TinnitusHello, I started to hear the "sound of Night" (Crickets) about three months ago, the first 2 to 3 weeks it was very low and was not bothering me much. Then it started to get loud and i approached an ENT (Professor at YALE) and he said that it must be an infection behind the ear drum and asked me to give it 6 weeks to go away, After 8 weeks i went back again and he said that there MIGHT be some irritation in the nerve endings and asked me to see after 2 months, I took a secome opinion and he also says there is absolutely nothing wrong with my ears or nerves or the brain stem or the Brain itself, is there a cure for such tinnitus wherein there is no physical evidence? If so please let me know.
