Chest Congestion

My infant has been badly congested for the last couple of weeks with a cough and lots of drainage (yellowish). My baby is generally very irrtiable, clingy and not a good sleeper these days.

I am looking for a homeopathic remedy to clear this congestion and also boost immunity.

HI ..how old is your baby?PULSATILLA 30 liquid form will help your baby.dissolve it in very little amount of water and feed her a spoon thrice daily...before food. report to me if u have any doubts.

Dr Priyadarshini,
My baby is 11 mnths. I am currently giving my baby Hepar suplc Calc 30X three times a day and that seems to help with the congestion and cough.

I still hear rattling from my baby's chest. Should I stop the Hepar Sulp and switch to Pulsatilla instead.

BTW - what is dosage recommended for Pulsatilla on a baby?

better to start with puls 30 liquid form ...dissolve 3 drops of medicine in little amount of water and give her thrice daily.....it will help her congestion and rattling

Quick update - I am giving my baby Pulsatilla 30C for the past 3 days now. There is a greenish discharge from his nose,occurs in the morning. It is not profuse and does not seem to irritate him.

The rattling in his chest and the wet cough is still there but showing improvement.

Hello,
Discharge has turned watery and only happens in the morning.

Also he takes two very good naps during the day. The last two days though he has been extremely irritable during nighttime. He wakes up crying every 2-3hrs and wants to held and cuddled. I am giving him Chamomilla for this. It seems to help temporarily. Unsure if this due to teething or due to the congestion? He has been a fairly good night sleeper so far.

hi....the reason i dint give chamomilla is..........it antidotes pulsatilla. is the rattling still present or he is fine now?

ok, thats good to know. The rattling has subsided but it is still there including occasional wet cough.

Also yesterday his bottom turned red after his bowel movement. It was sensitive to touch as he was very crankly during diaper changes. I gave him 3 pellets of Sulphur in water.
