This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You can treat this bout of cold with PHOSPHORUS 30C some 4 doses, once every 6 hours.

Once the four doses are given on a single day, wait and watch his improvement for the next two days. Report after 3 days.

Now, I am pretty sure your son is a PHOSPHORUS child.

Give him 2 doses of PHOSPHORUS 200C on one single morning, each dose 30 minutes apart.

Give him the doses first thing in the morning and then let him sleep again for 2 hours.

Watch his improvement for the next one month. Don't repeat the doses for one month.

A few doses of phosphorus in infrequent intervals will boost his immunity.

Thank you, I will follow your remedy. Will this cover his sniffles and sneezes in the morning. One thing I wanted to tell was i see mucous in his right nostril but it does not come out even if tries hard to blow it out.
hina123 9 years ago
Phosphorus should help him in all his body systems. Its likely that he will get rid of morning sneezes as well.
rishimba 9 years ago
thanks, I ll try this.
hina123 9 years ago
I have given him 2 doses of phosphorous 200 as told by you.He is coughing and taking out mucous continously. What should I do for the coughing as it is not stopping.Since there is a lot of weather change in Delhi currently, everyday he starts having itching in throat and sneezes in evening.I have to give him Alspasm antallergic syrup in the evening, then only he is fine. Please advise what shall I do?
hina123 9 years ago
normally I give him Spongia Tosta 30 which works well on his coughing.I dont know whether shall give it now.Pls advse
hina123 9 years ago
Based on his generals and mental make-up, phosphorus was the remedy closest to him. That's the reason it was selected based on his totality.

Your description of the present symptoms do not call for Spongia Toasta.

I feel, you should wait for a couple of days. If its common cold, he will take time to develop immunity. We generally gain immunity for the particular strain of virus in some 7 to 10 days. The only thing we want out of a homeopathic remedy is to shorten this time of immunity build-up so that we don't end up having secondary bacterial infection.
rishimba 9 years ago
ok I ll wait for a couple of days. One more thing in the night he is having a trouble sleeping. His nostrils are blocked and is having sleep apnea. He just keeps on changing his sides as he has trouble breathing while lying.
