Toes

I am having some problems with my toes lately. I have always had a bit of a callus on my right second toe. It never bothered me as far as pain. It would mostly just be dry skin.

Over the last couple of winters, it has gradually bothered me more when I wear thicker socks.

Now it also has rubbed against my big toe. The second toe is a bit red. In addition to the rubbing on the big toe, the big toe also feels like an ingrown toenail feels.

It is aggravated by walking and water when I shower.

Any suggestions?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You know we need much more! We do not just treat feet. You should be used to my scold by now. Start at the top of your head and go down. Don't forget emotion.

This could actually be your shoes, but feet are tricky things, wouldn't want to treat lightly. Diabetes??

I'm sorry. You know, after I posted I thought, I bet they need more. I just don't know for sure how much is too much, not important, etc.

I have been pretty tired lately due to moving to a new home. We do have a long flight of stairs which may have made me notice it more.

I do not have diabetes that I know of.

I have been dizzy lately, since the move, mostly at night and in the morning upon waking.

Since the end of January, eye twitching when nervous. Right eye.

Mood, this last week pretty calm and peaceful until about Friday night. Then irritable. Still irritable. This is a pattern. Calmness and then irritability.

More hungry than normal. Crave salt and sweets. Sleeping well. Still nursing, so do not have menstrual period. Not pregnant.

I think that covers it.. The weather has been sunny and unseasonably warm--60s and 70s.

Thuja-30 for toe callus problem alone.

OR

You can rub Thuja juice on your callus and rub it on the pulse of your wrist.

For whole treatment Sabra will guide you with great patience, I wish I had it.

Need more about feet and attitude upon awakening. Emotion? Tired, listless, rather stay in bed, etc.

Are your shoes old? Favorite shoes are not always the best after awhile. You say it has bothered for awhile. When did it start? Which shoe is worse?

Did you know that most of us buy shoes half size too small? Yep, tested it on myself. I felt much better. You just moved....adjustments??? Stairs???

Still nursing, no menses, is it still comfortable and no PMS stuff, or maybe this is the irritability off and on? A swaying of moods.

You know about buying a car and there is buyer's remorse even though happy with the new car?? Could this be part of the adjustment of new living quarters?

Still ok with hubby??

What about that job you had? Do you work now?

How does your mouth look? You have a twitch, something is tense within....?

Talk to me.

Attitude on waking - feet don't hurt that I notice anyway. I am usually peaceful, but not necessarily wanting to get up.

I was just thinking today that I need to get some new shoes because they are worn on the heels. I have had the callus since I can remember, probably childhood. It has bothered me for about 2-3 years. The callus is on the right foot. It started bothering me more and I noticed redness probably on Wednesday this last week.

The new house is bigger and has steep stairs.

I have tried a half size bigger when someone wants to get rid of their shoes that don't fit them, thinking that it won't make a difference and it always feels too loose.

I have wondered if the mood swings are a kind of phantom PMS without the menses.

I think there is an adjustment of sorts in this house because we became homeowners and I have been a bit nervous about this change.

Husband - doing well, perhaps a bit more sparring than usual these last two weeks or so due to the transition.

I am still working part time as a therapist . I also do some clerical work from home from my computer. One of them is transcription and it has kind of stopped right now as it sometimes does in between projects. I have been a bit worried about that just because of financial reasons but expect to get more work soon.

Today I have had a prickly feeling in my mouth and my tongue is a bit red. I have the white bumps on my tonsils that has been such a popular topic on this forum. I have had these for about 15 years or more. My throat has been a bit red and feels like the white bumps are really hard and big. It is feeling better the last day, but was uncomfortable for a couple of days.

My lips are very dry because I keep losing my lip balm which I always use several times a day.

Let me know if you need more. . . Thanks.

I have been thinking more about the tenseness and I think it is related to having a lot of stuff to unpack and organize and not a chance to do it because of having two very young children that need a lot of attention.

We have help this week because my husband's mom came yesterday. This adds a different tenseness because I want to decorate my own house and be sure my kids are doing what I want them to do and eating what I want them to eat, etc.

So that is some more about being tense.

The thing about a helper or even the mother-in-law is that the work gets done and put away....LATER you can change things.

You are very tired. Be good to yourself!!

You will have to put your foot down about foods though. Be very smiling matter of fact. Do not react.

Never wear someone elses shoes at this time. Shop for a "soft" tennis shoe to wear around.

Get some Glycerine in pharmacy. It is good for dry, hard spots on hands and feet. Not harmful even to eat. Massage feet with it before bed.

Wear a bit of tissue/cotton/foam between the affected toe in shoes. Get some fun socks.

You could add a dose of Thuja as Kuldeep suggested. Melt in a bit of water and add to glycerine.

I agree about the phantom PMS. The twitch is very telling. Get several lip balms and put them in drawers in several rooms of the house. No camphor.

You MUST remind yourself that your efforts to buy a house will be rewarded as you settle in and children begin to crawl about and the family in general progresses.

REMEMBER If stressful things happen...it is no one's fault, that's just the way it is. S--- happens and we get on with life. AT ALL COSTS, do not fight with hubby.

All we can do is try to keep up until it is all done.

You may benefit from CHAMOMILLA if you get grouchy and stomping around. Or maybe BRYONIA if you have headache with the grouch. SEPIA if you are crying. IGNATIA is good with lack of sleep and a feeling of grief.

If the feeling of sleeping into the morning aggrivation and face discomfort, try a dose of LACHESIS. This is normally for the period or lack of. Facial nuralgia.

Keep posting.
