Leg pain
I am sufferening from leg pain (sometimes in left hip area, sometimes in left thigh and sometimes in left shin) for last 2 weeks. The pain varies from a dull ache to unbearable sharp pain in the left leg.
The pain gets so bad at times that I can't move or just have to wait in the same position for a while then slowly it reduces.
There is no swollen or color change.
I am 27 and is in good health.
It used to happen only sometimes in the beginning but now it's frequnecy has increased. It gets worse when I stand up from a sitting position or when I sit from a standing position.
I started taking Rhus Tox 30 since yesterday, it does not seem to help me or maybe I will have to wait.
Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

I forgot to mention that I excercise at Curves. While excercising I don't feel any pain except for in one machine which involves pushing by leg.
While walking sometimes I feel pain but sometimes nothing.

what did you do 2 weeks ago before the pain started? does the pain in the leg radiate upwards, downwards or just a sharp pain inwards? Does the pain go from hip to thigh to shin or does it just appear in these areas randomly? is the pain better for heat, cold, movement - anything???? what makes the pain worse apart from the change of position from sitting to standing and vice versa? tell us anything and everything about your pain.
also - do you suffer from varicose veins or constipation?

Thanks, erika.
I have done nothing unusual before the pain started.
Pain is better for only rest, no movement. But it is so intermittent, like I said when I do excercise I feel fine. And sometimes after walking for a while pain gets very mild.
Sometimes even if I 'm sitting I get the mild ache.
Right now I just tried moving my left leg like kicking a ball, my shin area pained.
When I try to creep it pains.
When it started 2 weeks ago only thigh area was affected.
Only few days ago hip also started paining.
It is very hard to say pain's pattern. It seems it is going downward like from hip to thigh to shin sometimes and sometimes randomly. I will pay attention to note this from now on.
I have 3 yr old son and I am not pregnant now.
I don't know if I suffer from varicose veins.
My bowl movemnet is every alternate day most of the days, sometimes can go 2-3 days without bowl movement and very few times daily. So I don't know if it is constipation or not.

It may be an idea to try some arnica first - if this doesn't work then come back and update us so that other remedies may be suggested.

Hi Erika,
I have been taking Arnica 4-5 pills 3 times a day for 2 days now. But my pain has not subsided yet.

if it going down from lower back/hip through back of leg down to back of calf it could be sciatica, trapped nerve etc. does this sound the right area???
erika 2 decades ago
Yeah it is the right area but it does not travel like that all the time. Sometimes it is just in one place mostly in hip area.

what potency arnica did you take?

is the pain in the buttock, upper hip, side of hip?? when you said at the beginning it was sharp - could you describe this more? how often do you exercise - is it daily?

I believe that you are suffering from early Sciatica which usually afflicts people in their sixties.
I have recently cured two sisters, my wife and her sister and you can read about this cure on this Forum in my response to Wrist Pain which I titled Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and detailed the response of the two sister's Arthritis and Sciatica:

If you decide to take the remedy Hypericum 200 that I used, please note that it must be taken exactly in the way that I detailed for best results.
