Pneumonia
Hi there,My 5 years old son showing a
wet cough (because the high level of pollen these days in Central Texas?) have been diagnosed with a little pneumonia and may be asthma.
Trying to avoid steroid and chemical
treatments, I will appreciate any
good suggestion.
Thanks a lot,
Mano L.D.

Symptoms, Symptoms, PLEASE. Homeopathy does not treat names of illness. You have told us only where the problem is located. Homeopaths call this a respiratory problem. We still need symptoms of type of child, discription of personality, when and how it began. Is there mucus, color, where? Is there any fevers, Skin eruption? Does he cry or is a tough kind of kid. How? Does he cough, what kind, (other than wet), loud, choking, does he vomit with it? Is he wiggly and restless or quiet? Does he have night problems, when? Has this been recuring?? How often? ...Sabra
You see, individual people react to illness in their own individual ways. This is how homeopathy works...individually.

Dear Sabra,
Thank you very much for your reply and pointing out missing issues.
· Started about 2.5 weeks ago () with a stomach virus (severe tummy ache, vomiting and diarrhea) lasted for about a day and a half. Vomit during sleep afraid of some inhaled into lungs!!
· Soon after, nose congestion and sneezing started then changed into runny nose and lasted for about a 5-6 days.
· Soon a wet chest-congested cough developed. Coughing was bad especially at night, he was restless for 3 nights, with nightmares. Slight fever accompanied this cough. Daytime cough was less severe but frequent and lasted for about a week. No mucus was coughed out to see what color or texture it is.
· Over two day period, he complained of noises in the left ear that were bothering him but didnt indicate any pain accompanied.
· March 11th had a Dr. visit to check his chest. Recommended an X-Ray after carefully listening to his chest to check for possible Pneumonia and/or Bronchial/Asthmatic infections.
· Dr. believed after the x-ray and breathing treatment that there is little Pneumonia in the right lung and Asthma/bronchial infection in the other lung. So he recommended: 1. Albeterol (breathing treatment)
2. Steroids (to decrease inflammation)
3. Antibiotics (for the infection).
· None of what was recommended treatments were given to the child. We gave him some Antimonium Tartaricum.
· He also had 2 Canker sores (Apthous ulcer) with pus inside his lower lip.
First is gone, second is almost gone.
No skin rash, In general, he is not a tough kind of kid, he has low pain tolerance, but this time he did not cry. He still wets the bed at night and occasional nightmares. He recently switched school that he does not like (he liked all the previous).
He had something similar over a year ago. He healed with just homeopathic cough syrup and Bryonia. Earlier he had some ear infections. Only once (2 years old) we treated with antibiotics.
We still do not have a homeopathic doctor .
Since a year he complains about his tummy in the morning and refuses to have breakfast. Milk bothers him in the morning.
Thanks again. Feel free to ask more details if needed.
PS. Central Texas is full of various and high concentrated pollens.
